Like every hardworking member of Harper Security Ops, Forrest Hickman takes time away from work to relax and recharge. And he often does that while riding his snowboard on the slopes of his favorite ski resort.

He wasn’t sure anything would be better than some time alone to clear his head. That is, until he meets someone to spend his break with.

Daisy Clark is searching for a place to put down roots. And she’s doing that while she tries to get back to some semblance of a normal life. Daisy’s always been an adventure seeker—that’s what got her into this mess—and that adventure leads her to Forrest.

For two weeks, Forrest and Daisy spend time with one another forming a deep connection. And when the time is up, they go their separate ways. But neither forgets about the other.

Then Daisy’s trouble catches up with her.

And that’s when she throws caution to the wind and confides in Forrest. She just hopes that her predicament doesn’t dull the spark between them.

A.K. Evans is a contemporary romance author of over twenty published novels. While she enjoys writing a good romantic suspense novel, Andrea’s favorite books to write have been her extreme sports romances. That might have something to do with the fact that she, along with her husband and two sons, can’t get enough of extreme sports.

Before becoming a writer, Andrea did a brief stint in the insurance and financial services industry and managed her husband’s performance automotive business. That love of extreme sports? She used to drive race cars!

When Andrea isn’t writing, she can be found homeschooling her two sons, doing yoga, snowboarding, reading, or traveling with her family. She and her husband are currently taking road trips throughout the country to visit all 50 states with their boys.

Caution is the 14th book in AK Evans Harper Security Ops series. I realized while reading this that I have missed books 7 through 13 so I have some reading to catch up on. Luckily, these can all be read as standalones, but since characters from the other books appear, it makes for a richer experience when you read the whole series.

This book is about Daisy and Forrest. Daisy starts off playing a game of truth or dare with a stranger in a bar. Daisy chooses dare’s every time, and instead of connecting with Jeremy, he dares her to go up to his friend and kiss him. His friend has supposedly been through a breakup, but Daisy soon realizes that his girlfriend is there in the bar. A fight breas up in the bar, and Daisy is in the middle of it.

After the police visit her at home, the story jumps to Daisy at a ski resort. She’s snowboarding, badly, when another snowboarder comes to her rescue. The handsome man offers to help her learn to snowboard, and his name is Forrest.

Daisy and Forrest end up spending every day together and get closer as a result. But all things come to an end, and they soon have to go back to reality. I have to say that I wanted to smack some sense into the both of them because they both wanted each other, but neither would admit it to each other. Daisy has to go back and sell her home and deal with the fallout from the bar fight, Forrest has to go back to his job at Harper Security as a bodyguard/personal security guard.

Daisy has a run in of the worst kind with Jeremy, then runs to Forrest for help. But Jeremy still has to be dealt with. Both Daisy and Forrest drive me to want to pull my hair out because they both struggle with loving each other and admitting it. This was an enjoyable read, with some scorching scenes between them. I have some more reading to do to finish the series, but I’ll enjoy every minute of it!

Forrest and Daisy have a cute holiday romance. Daisy leaves a pretty nomadic lifestyle and just wants to get away from her past and do some snowboarding. She runs into some trouble on the slopes and in skis Forrest. They have an instant connection and their chemistry is off the charts, but neither is willing to go the extra step to say how they really feel at the end of their holiday. Daisy’s past rears its ugly head and she turns to Forrest for protection. Will they finally tell each other how they feel? Will Forrest be able to protect Daisy?

Caution is the 14th book in the Harper Security Ops series, and my first read. It can definitely be read as a standalone since the characters from the other books don’t come into play until almost the end. I’ll definitely be grabbing the other books in the series to get their stories. I absolutely love how sweet & caring Forrest is with Daisy from the start. Daisy has been through a lot and he is exactly what she needed to find on her vacation. Caution is emotional, suspenseful, and just a little spicy.- By Elizabeth

Another amazing addition to the Harper Security Series! I am a sucker for all of the men at Harper Security Ops and Forrest did not disappoint! This book really focuses on how he meets Daisy and the connection that they build together. Both are on a getaway at a ski resort when they meet on the slopes. Forrest sees that Daisy is struggling and offers to give her some pointers. This turns into more when they begin to spend their entire trip together. Watching as Daisy starts to let her walls down to let Forrest in was my favorite part. She has been hurt in the past and she doesn't trust easily. Forrest was such an understanding character and the way he took his time and didn't push Daisy for more than she was ready for made him even more amazing. I think what I really loved about this story was the fact that they are away from the world and the drama on vacation and the story really focuses on them getting to know each other. Once they need to go their separate ways however, the drama really kicks in. This is when Daisy's past catches up to her, but this time she knows that she has someone she can trust. The facet that he is a bodyguard for a security agency also puts her mind at ease. The last part of the book is really where the danger, suspense and action happen, but I'm not sad that this book was more on the romance building side with a little bit of drama at the end. I loved these characters and the writing was fabulous. A definite must read book and series for sure! -By Alisa

𝐂𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is the 14th book in the Harper Security Ops series by A.K. Evans, featuring a vacation romance with the potential for more and a side of suspense. Daisy Clark needed distance from her past and a new place to live. She started with a 2-week vacation at a ski resort in a contender town. Leave it to her to crash into a hottie on the slopes, Forrest Hickman, who was also on a solo vacation from his security job with HSO. They opt to spend their time together, building a connection and fanning the flames of their fiery connection. When time runs out, they return to their lives, but they don’t forget each other. When Daisy’s past finds her unprotected, she runs to the only person who made her feel safe… Forrest. Will confessing her secrets change his feelings?

I love that this series is still compelling after 14 books! Daisy and Forrest had an adorable meet-cute on the slopes, and Forrest immediately stood out as a compassionate, protective MMC. They had plenty of spicy chemistry, witty banter, and a great connection. It was clear from the beginning that Daisy had a past that would probably come back to bite her, but I didn’t when or how, so I was on the edge of my seat waiting for that shoe to drop. That’s when I got even more excited, because I knew the HSO crew would come into play. I loved the scenes with Daisy and the HSO ladies, and the way they welcomed her into the fold. Forrest the protector was super hot, and although the action was resolved quickly, it was fun to read. This was another hit for the HSO series, and I can’t wait to read Sheltered next!!

I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

14 books into the Harper Security Ops series and I do believe I may have a new favorite couple....Forrest & Daisy are everything and more!!
Forrest is just taking his usual vacation to the sky resorts, while Daisy is running from the past in search of a better future. Neither of them expecting the two weeks that were ahead of them. Daisy is a mix of caution and hesitation mixed with adventure and up for anything personality. Both parts of her are equally relatable, but I must say I adore adventurous Daisy! She didn't let a little bump in the road on the ski slops stop her from having an unforgettable trip and Forrest is a huge reason for that. The way he cared for her from the very first time they met was so heartwarming. You can tell he has such a huge heart and loves with every ounce of it. That's exactly what Daisy needed to bring her out of her cautious nature. I loved every part of this story and truly didn't want it to end. Can I just say, being back on the ski slops really took me back to The Everything series?! I didn't realize how much I had missed those settings until this story. This just further proves to me how huge of an impact Evans stories leave with readers. The stories aren't just a read and done, they truly stick deep in your soul and leave you wanting to devour the next. I also loved how she brought The Westwood's into this book. One of my absolute favorite parts of Evans books are how they all somehow intertwine with one another. While none of them have to be read in order, I feel like you're missing out if you don't start at the beginning and enjoy each and everyone.
I listened to this book on Audible and two of my FAVORITES narrated it. As always, the knocked it out of the park!

Audio Review:
A.K. Evans delivers another memorable romantic suspense with Book 14 in the Harper Security Ops series. I can't get enough of these men and the woman that own their hearts.

Forrest and Daisy are one of my favorite couples because her journey to happily ever after was so relatable, and even though Daisy was lost and heartsore, she was still so fun and full of life. Forrest came in and literally swept her off her feet and gave her the love and attention she was desperately seeking and wholeheartedly deserved. They say you find love when you least expect it and this couple proved that!

Forrest was a big ol' protective teddy bear and I loved him to pieces. He and Daisy were immediately drawn to each other from their first encounter. Their individual vacations turned into 2 weeks of bliss for both of them and each of them were heartbroken when they had to part ways. When Daisy's past came back to cause harm, she did what she had already planned on doing and ran to Forrest. Her legal dilemma left me speechless. I was not expecting that at all, and was anxiously waiting to see what really happened after that night in the bar. Like we know the HSO men do, Forrest took his girl in, protected her, and made sure the person out to hurt her paid for what they had done.

I loved the cameos from all the other HSO ladies! The way they took Daisy in and showed her what friends and family were all about warmed my heart. I was so happy that she finally got to have what her heart desired. Forrest loved that woman and she loved him right back.

Connor Crias' voice is so sexy and swoony...soothes my soul. He and Ava Erickson were amazing as Forrest and Daisy!

I have been waiting for Caution since Ms. Evans gave us the little teaser in Unharmed. Ms. Evans always gives us a book that has strong females who are relatable and males who are protective and swoon-worthy.
Right from the start you are pulled in by the suspense and instant attraction between Forest and Daisy. Their first meeting was sweet and it seems there was a spark that happened on the slopes. Daisy is an adventurer and likes to try new things so why not snowboarding. She thinks that she will be fine but she is struggling. In swoops Forest, a bodyguard for Harper, and comes to the rescue. They spend two weeks together and feelings develop but nothing is said and they know there is an end date to this happiness. Danger follows Daisy home and her life is threatened and the first person she thinks of is Forest. We all know that the men of Harper are protective of the women they love and Forest is no different with Daisy. She has an instant family with the Harper guys and girls. Love is blossoming but there is still the danger out there which has both of them looking over their shoulders.
Caution is a riveting, addictive, and page-turner that you will not be able to put down. Forest and Daisy's story is well-written with just the right amount of suspense, steam and a love that was meant to be. A fantastic addition to the Harper series. I cannot wait for the next installment in this series, Sheltered.

Caution is book 14 of the Harper Security Ops and we find ourselves meeting up with Forrest and Daisy.

Connor Crais and Ava Erickson are always so good together! Connor inserts himself into the character and truly makes you feel everything that Forrest does. Ava is the same way. She can convince you she is the character that you are hearing. She gets into the characters mind and soul and gives her all! I am so glad these two are paired up in not just this book but several of the HSO and AK Evan’s book series!

Tropes:
• Adventure
• Close Proximity
• Bodyguard
• Small Town

I absolutely love that the chosen vacation area was skiing!

Daisy needing time away to get her life back on track decides to take a vacation and go skiing, literally crashing into Forrest, who was on his own vacation from the hustle of work. Both decided to throw caution in the wind and just enjoy each other for the time that they had.
Just like all vacation, they must end and they go their separate ways until Daisy feels concerned and worried for her safety, the safety that she didn’t worry about as long as she was with Forrest.
She runs to him for the comfort that he has been providing with no strings or promises attached but will they be able to move forward when secrets are revealed?

I don’t want to see this series end but I am sure AK Evans has an incredible story to close it out! I can’t wait to see what is next!!

From nightmare to once in a lifetime love.

I loved Caution, the next installment in the Harper Security Ops series! As always, the characters are layered enough to feel real, and the "found" family they created is awesome.

Forrest and Daisy met entirely by chance when he almost runs her over on a skiing trip. Forrest is instantly struck by her quirky personality and spirit.

Deciding to take a vacation to find the place she wants to call home was a great idea. She can see the sights and check out the town while playing tourist. But when she hurts herself, she's afraid she might lose the opportunity. Until she meets Forrest. Daisy isn't used to being taken care of and is cautious in relationships after a scary situation from her past. But there is something about the man with the kind face and the protective side that tells her she can trust him. Could a journey to find a place to call home lead her to the love she's always wanted?

Perhaps I like this story so much because I'm gutsy and klutzy like dear Daisy. Sadly my foibles have never ended so nicely! It's a great meet cute, and the story ambles along from there. I enjoyed the pace because it felt natural, but I definitely wondered about her drama from her past. I wish it was woven through the story more instead of rushed in near the last chapters. Great story and addition to the series.

Meet Forrest Hickman and Daisy Clark in A.K. Evans newest book, Caution....book 14 in her Harper Security Ops series.

Daisy, who is always up for an adventure, decides to go on a two-week trip to a ski resort while she desperately tries to find a new place to call home so she can leave her past behind. Even though she doesn't have much experience with snowboarding, she finds the town charming. Could this be a new place for her to put down roots?

Forrest, who is a member of the Harper Security Ops team, happens to be on a two week break from work at the same ski resort. Forrest runs into Daisy, literally... which begins their two-week journey.

Forrest seems too good to be true as he takes care of her when she hurts herself, and Daisy's past decisions hold her back from telling him how she feels. The two weeks they have together is amazing, but is quickly coming to a close as she believes all good things must come to an end...or so she thinks.

This book takes us on their journey of discovery, love, and the past coming back to haunt them. Forrest and Daisy are a sweet couple, and the crew of the Harper Security brings them easily into their fold as they find their HEA in Steel Ridge

Perfect Meet Cute!!!

In this fourteenth, yes fourteenth installment of the Harper Security Ops, it’s finally time for Forrest to find his love.

While on a two week break from work, Forrest finds himself instantly intrigued by a woman named Daisy staying at the same ski resort. She was instantly outgoing, easy to talk to and up for anything, which surprised him seeing how he was pretty much a stranger. Unlike Forrest or Daisy, I was worried about this being an annoying insta-love relationship, however A.K. Evans did a fantastic job with this new coupling, so much so, at 60% I was starting to worry about them!!

Forrest is such a sweet, smart and mellow guy, he was the perfect fit for the spontaneous Daisy, who had a few skeletons hiding in her closet. Major skeletons, which most of the Harper Security Ops women do and the men are there every step of the way. Forrest was no different for Daisy.

The book is well written and while I was skeptical at first, I ended up really liking it. Along with our romance, there is some angst and mystery floating around in the background, as well as keeping readers refreshed on who is who in the operations, making sure the book reads as a standalone. Excellent addition to the series!

Caution by A.K. Evans is the 14th installment in the Harper Security Ops series, offering readers a thrilling and captivating story that stands out in the genre. The book introduces readers to Forrest and Daisy, two compelling characters whose journey is filled with danger, romance, and suspense.

Daisy and Forrest might begin like a fling. Or a chance encounter. Or a friendship. But they quickly become more, and not just because they’re spending every day together. Nope. They’re finding that they love their time together and are both dreading the moment when they must say goodbye. But there are some secrets waiting to be shared. Some come out during their time together, and some bigger ones come out when one is sure that they’re drifting apart, while the other is working hard to find a future in a very permanent fashion fort both of them.

The big secret that is shared is truly a big one, too. It also makes you re-examine everything that has been shared up to now, just to see what you possibly missed. It’s sort of masterfully done. And the foray into another town that you’ll be seeing more of makes this breadcrumb trail even more enjoyable.

Enjoy this “what are we” becomes “we’re everything” tale of finding your true home. Sure, there are some heartaches to be had, but I promise that Forrest and Daisy make them all okay in the end.

We are back with another engaging Harper Ops Security audiobook and this time the story belongs to Forrest Hickman.
Ready for some R&R, Forrest grabs his snowboard and heads to his favorite ski resort . Whom he never expected to meet was sweet and adventurous Daisy Clark.
The attraction was instant and though the intend was having a good time and a fling, at the end of their two weeks together, they were left wanting more. But that didn’t stop each from going their separate ways.
That is, until Daisy shows up when danger from her past has caught up with her.
Can she trust Forrest with her secrets? Can Forrest help Daisy while evading the danger? In the end , will they get their HEA or go their separate ways?
Once again the author delivers a story filled with adventure, strong characters, danger and of course, romance. Another good addition to the series.
Connor Crais and Ava Erickson, whom we have heard narrate other stories, did a great job with the various voices.
I was entrusted a copy of this audiobook. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Caution is the 14th book in the Harper Security Ops series. It can be read as a standalone, though some of the characters from previous books do show up later in the story, so it might be helpful to have a little background.

This book focuses on how Daisy meets Forrest and the connection that they are building. Forrest meets Daisy while on vacation and she is struggling to snowboard.  He offers to give her some pointers which evolves into more when end up spending their entire trip together. They part ways and the story ramps up...but to know more you will need to read it yourself.

While I did enjoy the plotline, I went into the book expecting a different type of story. I read Harper Security Ops books looking for action and suspense, and I felt a little let down that this book was more on the romance side with only a tiny bit of drama. The storyline however was solid and the characters were engaging. A good story but a little bummer for my expectations still rates 4 stars from me though!

Chance Encounter finds Love… wonderful story!!

Forrest is a bodyguard/private security at Harper Security Ops. Every year he takes two weeks to go skiing and snowboarding at a specific resort. Daisy is an adventurous, fun girl who is looking for a new home town. She ends up looking at a town with a ski resort, and literally runs into Forrest. They become fast friends and decide to spend their time at the resort together. Unfortunately for Daisy, she has some trouble following her back home. Luckily she met a hunky body guard she can run to for help…

This is a fantastic addition to the series. I loved how easy Forrest and Daisy were together. There was an I want click and you could feel that in the story. I loved the little edge of you know something is probably going to happen, but what is it and when. It made me need to keep reading.

Another beyond fantastic read from A.K. Evans. I am never disappointed in her books. Now I can’t wait for the next

Daisy & Forrest

She needed a change. After a horrifying experience, she renewed her distrust of everyone. She'd try something new. Winter sports. It wasn't easy and she wasn't prepared to meet a man who would make her question her decision.

Forrest liked his job, his co-workers were family to him but he needed a break. Snowboarding was one of his favorite sports. Meeting Daisy there became his all-time favorite break from work.

In two weeks they became more than acquaintances but knew it was ending. She didn't tell him all of her history and situation.

What will happen to their budding relationship? What about the incident that started it all? Is that all or is danger awaiting?

While I enjoyed the book and all the characters, I feel her character was lacking in that she had no work or plans even if she could afford her lifestyle.

Forrest and Daisy are each trying to find solace during their vacation. Forrest is trying to relax and enjoy his time and Daisy is trying to find a place where she belongs. Daisy is always trying to seek and adventure but she isn’t expecting the journey that she and Forrest are about to go on. As they find their way to each other they’ll have to decide if their vacation fling can be more. When danger finds Daisy she realizes that Forrest may be just the person to help her if she can trust him with her secret. This is book # 14 in the Harper Security Ops team and each book just keeps getting better. Forest has been in the background in the other books, so it was great to finally get his story. The chemistry between Forrest and Daisy jumped off the pages and I loved the banter between the two. I really love chance encounter books because you never know when the right person will walk into your life.

Daisy has always been open to new experiences so after recent events in her life Daisy decides to take a vacation and learn how to snowboard. When a fellow snowboarder sees her struggles, he offers to teach her and as they spend time together feelings develop but will their connect transcend beyond their vacations.

Forrest is taking a vacation from his job as a bodyguard. When he meets Daisy, he is drawn to her in a way he has never felt before and knows that he wants to see her after the vacation ends. When she arrives at his door trying to escape the danger of her past, he is determined to not only protect her but show her that their time together was a beginning and not an end.

It was wonderful how not only Forrest was there for Daisy when she needed someone the most but how the entire team welcomed her and made her part of the family.

This is the 14th book in this incredible series, and this is Forrest and Daisy’s story.
Forrest is a bodyguard / private security for Harper Security, and when he takes time off from work to relax and regroup, he heads for the ski slopes at his favorite resort. Daisy is fun and adventurous, while searching for a place to settle down. When Forrest and Daisy meet, the sparks fly, and they spend a couple of weeks together before going their separate ways. Will Daisy ask for Forrest’s help when her past comes back to haunt her?
This is a well written story which is action packed, with found family, danger, suspense, intrigue, close proximity, palpable chemistry, humor, emotions, tension, and love, which leads to an entertaining, unpredictable, haunting, and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Caution is absolute fire! Author A.K. Evans has written an adventurous, sweet, saucy romance with a touch of drama, some action, and amazing characters. Forest is a cinnamon roll alpha male who is so down to earth and giving—he is totally drool-worthy. Daisy is sweet and kind, brazen, courageous, and brave. I love how the author built the opening scene, throws these two together, and then kicks back and lets the fireworks fly. There are multiple twists and turns, and the ending is not anywhere close to where you’d think it would go based on the start—which makes it even more fun!

The narrators bring these characters, there emotions, and their experiences to audio life with passion, fire, and fierceness. Their voices are soothing to listen to and fit the characters’ personalities really well.

Love, love, love this one!!!

Daisy leads a pretty nomadic lifestyle. She has the funds to settle anywhere but so far no single place she visited has called to her. Taking a short holiday in the snow is just what she needs to get over the tragedy she was involved in.

Just when she thinks she's going to get a bit more adrenaline than she wished for, in skis Forrest to save her. The instant connect between them leads to an short but intense relationship whilst at the resort. But both feel the temptation to say that they feel more but both chicken out!

Then danger comes for Daisy and the first person she thinks of is Forrest. She soon sees that his second family at Harper Security is everything she has been missing in her life.

A brilliant meet-cute, intense, chemistry soaked attraction and some seriously smoking hot passion. They are flirty, funny and when it matters they can cut through the sh1t to the heart of the matter. Daisy could have been a 2D rich girl but she is intelligent, cool, fun, friendly and very down to Earth. Forrest is the perfect mix of protector, friend and lover. The romance definitely takes centre stage in this story and I could have done with a bit more of the actual danger looming but still a great read.

Forrest's book is an adorable vacation romance where he meets the lovely but lacking in self esteem, Daisy. Forrest is book boyfriend goals. He has the Harper Security protective thing going for him along with kindness, patience and an all round golden retriever energy. He was such a good match for Daisy's free spirit.

Their two week romance lays a great foundation for what these two could be together and I adored how the side suspense meant they were able to rekindle their flame. I wasn't quite sure how the threat would appear against Daisy but she wouldn't get her full Harper Security lady membership without surviving something. And Forrest is her perfect protector.

Another great protector romance from A K Evans.

Forrest and Daisy, suspense and romance with a hard fought beautiful HEA! An incredible meet-cute. Adorable couple, she's looking for a new hometown; he's gone to this ski resort every year since he was a child. She couldn't have met a better guy to save her, but will she tell him? They spend 2 weeks together, fall in love and go their separate ways at the end of his vacation like nothing happened! 6 weeks later BOOM, Daisy's world comes crashing down. Will she run to him? Will he tell her how he feels about her? His sister told him to. Fantastic supporting characters, all the couples have their own books, what an incredible series! 5 stars from me on all of them don't miss this one! Thank you Ms. Evans for extraordinary writing over and over again!

“Caution,” a new story in A.K. Evans’s Harper Security Ops series, is probably one of the sweetest in the series, and I mean that in a good way! Forrest and Daisy, brought to life in excellent performances by Connor Crais (OMG, that VOICE!) and Ava Erickson, bring all the steam, chemistry, and that amazing feeling of watching two people fall in love right before your eyes. Forrest is such a special character, and Crais emoted all the confidence, tenderness, and everything good in a book boyfriend throughout the story. Daisy’s vulnerability, humility, and goodness shine through Erickson’s beautiful voice, and it truly made this story—with all the hallmarks of an EXCELLENT A.K. Evans romance—even more special than it already was. All kinds of stars here, Ms. Evans!

Audiobook Review
4.5 Stars

Daisy had the means to have everything but life was not so kind to her. After a good deed turns out to be trouble she goes away to find herself again, eventually finding all she’s been looking for all along: Forrest, someone that sees her for who she is, that understands her and is kind and gentle. Bonus points to Forrest for being so good looking and all the found family he brought with him into Daisy’s life.

Most of the book is about Forrest and Daisy falling in love but Daisy is so mysterious that I was always eager and waiting for something to happen. And when it did I was not expecting the twist.

Ava Erickson and Connor Crais were delightfully good as the protective and sweet Forrest and the adventurous and lonely Daisy.

In a wonderful meet cute, Daisy and Forest meet on the slopes while both are at a ski resort. As they gravitate towards each other, Daisy lets Forest see things about her a little at a time as her trust begins to grow in this man who helped her during an injury when he didn't have to. I loved the romance of their texts, outings, and even nights in Forest's cabin. When she goes to see Forest after their parting at the resort, we get to see the ladies of Harper Security Ops rally around Daisy when things in her life are turned upside down, giving Daisy her first sense of family. The audiobook was well recorded with Connor and Ava bringing this wonderful couple to life, complete with the emotions this story brings out. Superb!

Living the nomadic life can be fun until it isn't. For Daisy Clark, tragedy sparked a need for a more permanent living situation. When she met Forrest Hickman, it was supposed to be a vacation fling. But there's something that pulls them together. Forrest is there for her when trouble comes her way. But more importantly, being with Forrest gives her the sense of peace and belonging she's been lacking. Ava Erickson and Connor Crais voiced the characters so beautifully. Their talent is immeasurable and brought this story to life. Talent like theirs brings be back time and again to this series of books by this author.

I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook at my request and voluntarily left this review.

I fell in love with Daisy and Forrest and they were perfect for each other. I don’t think Daisy knew just how much she needed him. Knowing they had an instant attraction to each other and Forrest was so caring in taking care of him, going slow as their attraction grew. I was sad when they left each other and DAisy thinking their time together had ended. When Daisy found herself in danger, running for her life she ran to Forrest and with a dramatic conclusion, they knew they would never be alone again.
Another fantastic book by a favorite author, I can count on Ms. Evans to give us great stories every time.
