A quick read to take you from reality for a few hours.
The most well written alien romance I've read so far
I decided to give this a try after seeing a lot of FB ads. I usually can't finish an alien romance series, but I'm glad I tried this one. I didn't realize at first it was a whole series I downloaded, but I was glad after book 1 because I absolutely DEVOURED these books.
I struggle to read series that are different people but the same storyline because I lose interest and it gets muddled and monotonous. Not the case here. I didn't struggle with this series at all. I LOVED every second. It really keeps you engaged. The author makes the stories tie together but unique and different enough that each one hooks you just as much as the last. Each book envelops you in 2 new characters whilst giving you fun bits of past characters and sets the groundwork for new stories as well.
As far as spice, very spicy books, but not in a way that the whole plot just seems like a cheap p*rno like some series I've tried to read. It's very well blended into the story and the scenes are captivating and not cheesy or too clinical. It's the exact type of spice I think us spicy book readers look for. It also wasn't too alien or different, which is good for those of us who are dipping our toes into alien smutty goodness and aren't ready for tentacles and 3 peens. They're different enough to be fun, but not so different you can't imagine them as a man and see yourself wanting that situation for yourself.
Lastly, I am one of those people who HATE too open of an ending or one that's anti-climactic. I would have loved another couple of books to flesh out New Lunaria, but I wasn't left wanting either. The ending was very fitting.
This was a good series, I think the trauma that some of our heroines went through was not well addressed, but the spicy was delicious and I was well invested in the characters (enough that I was angry to be deprived of 15 years of growth from our previous interests). I also felt like the last book was probably the worst. There was a lot of indecision among our characters that prevented reasonable movement in the story. But I did also appreciate that the time gap allowed us today see some beautiful epilogues in the story of how each of our characters fared.
One thing I also did really enjoy that you don't see in enough series is the introduction of future main interests in the first few books. It's much easier to be invested in their story when you know who they are already. Enjoyable read altogether although the last book was a bit of a struggle. Haha
This series starts with earth women from earth beings drugged and taken away in the dark of night. When a new species of aliens find a slave ship with women from a planet without space travel (earth) they investigate and find many women have been taken and sold into an underground slavery ring. After this first book. The good soldiers go out again and again to fight the illegal slave trade, finding it in the most unbelievable places. In the background the have some rumors of a corrupt government on earth who cooperate with the ring. Good adult read.
I enjoyed this series and watching the characters develop and how the author rolls them into the next book. I have to say the last few books were my favorites! So much going on I wasn’t sure how it was going to go!! Lol I loved how she ended this series with this final book. No loose ends and new generations coming of age was sweet. The older friends were more like family.
This books at twist and turn in them that was wonderful for readers that have the reading bug. I am a daily reader. I enjoyed see the different relationships in each. The only book that bump me out was the being stuck on a plant where 1 day equal 1 year ... Ugy nop hard pass on that read.
I don't usually read boxed sets, but I'm really glad I did this one. It was nicely put together, and I really wanted to see how the story arc played out.
Each couple and each story was special and I enjoyed all the characters except one: Atlanta. I swear, sometimes I just wanted to reach through the page and slap her, she was such a brat!
I loved this romantasy series. While the endings are predictable they are wonderful nonetheless less. I also appreciate the male characters who wanted to learn and honor their partners, yes to that! The author has created a beautiful planet and species. I also really appreciated the beautiful wrap up of all the characters!
A complete series well worth the read with more twist and turns than a race circuit, the characters are well written and interesting with women who are as strong and interesting as their librarian mates are. You won't regret the money spent on these books. Although you may have a hard time putting them down for long if at all.
All stories were exciting and full of romance. It was sad to read about the earth women losing there hands and feet . I think they should have got together and eliminated the king themselves. Great stories on the whole.
This is the best series I’ve read in years. The characters are so interesting and realistic that you’re immediately hooked. Page turner from start to finish!!!
I really enjoyed each book I enjoyed the character development I enjoyed the storyline and I enjoyed how they were trapped, in 15 years past so quickly. The only thing I wanted to know was what happened with Marissa and her mate.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series about aliens from Lunaria and human females finding each other and love as mates, to increase the dying population of Lunaria.we follow several couples as they find their way together amidst strife and intrigue!
I absolutely loved this series! It is very rare that I do read an entire series, I usually loose interest. But this one held my interest the entire time. Just the right amount of adventure, spicy scenes and romance. I will definitely read more from this author!
Personal Preference Rating 3/5 🌶️🌶🌶️ Kindle book (KU) I don’t think this is an anthology you can read all in one sitting as many of the stories were very similar. I liked book six, but I wasn’t a fan of the time jump at the end and in book seven.
This was an enjoyable read with an interesting storyline. The main characters were easy to like. This was my first alien romance experience and will likely continue this genre.
