This is a story about a resort where strange things seem to happen. I enjoyed the book but it took a little time to get into it. It was full of mystery, intrigue, suspense and strange occurances. Once I got into it, the book was very entertaining and interesting. Recommend it to readers who like to figure out what it happening and the mystery and suspense that goes along with it. Gave it 4 stars due to the delay in action.

Three friends, Maggie, Rachel, and Susan, attend a seminar at Serenity Resort in memory of their late friend who'd passed the year before from cancer. It was supposed to be renewal and new beginnings.
It didn't take long for things to begin happening. They seemed hallucinations from deeply buried feelings in each of the women. They struck most often at certain points deep within the forest. Something evil lived there and was drawing on the trio's deepest fears.
Only Tony, an employee of the resort, is there to help. But can even he do any good?
This book is in deep need of an editor! There were times when I couldn't tell who was speaking, and there were times when the author didn't seem to know herself... It could be a good book, but it's just ok.
