I find it hard to sum up my life in a paragraph, but I'll try.

Reading has always been a passion for me and writing is as instinctive as breathing. Every inhale is an idea; every exhale a creation. Flutter, The Discover Series was my debut release and since then I have written a contemporary romance, The Edge of Darkness. The only thing I do better than writing? Making beautiful, sassy and independent, girls. My daughters will always be my greatest accomplishment, my biggest fans and my every inspiration. I live, breath and would die for them! I've been married to one of the greatest men in my life for 7 years and I love him more than chocolate (you know shit just got real :), Justin Timberlake and Friday's. Without him my website would be a mess and I would probably be paying more taxes than I should. He is a jack of many trades and this is just my opinion but I like to think besides my daughters, I'm his second biggest accomplishment. (Does anyone else hear a horn tooting?)

I was born in Denver, Colorado -but I will always think of sunny Arizona as my home. I don't have a big family, but I'm close with my sister, brother & my mom. My mom is my hero, my inspiration, and I couldn't have asked for a more amazing person to be raised by. She has supported me throughout this crazy adventure and I'm lucky to have her on my side!

6 things you should know about me:

1. I'm a tornado with lipstick! Translation: I'm very girly, but I can get down and dirty with the best of them.

2. I adore the color pink!

3. I love things that sparkle (including vampires!)

4. I like even numbers (hence 6 things about me, not 5)

5. I'm loyal to a fault but I like to see the good in everybody. Don't mistake my kindness for weakness though because my bark is not always bigger than my bite :))

6. I don't like calling readers 'fans'. When it come down to it, I am all YOUR biggest fan! MWAH!

I will never be able to thank every reader, every blogger or every author who has helped me in one or a million ways since I published but I will try every chance I get. Y'all are the reason I am here and every comment, every message, every review makes me feel like I have a reason to be. So to the moon and back, THANK YOU!

Okay, so this was a little longer than a paragraph.

I've only read My Unexpected Forever and that book is worth way more than the 0.99 you're paying for all eleven books. can't wait to read the rest. This book is a story of love lost and love found, a story of family and friends. It's a story of overcoming tragedy and grief. Heidi McLaughlin puts you in the town of Beaumont with her characters and you feel all their emotions with them. You will laugh and cry, smile and shout. You'll cheer with the characters and want to punch things at times. The roller coaster of emotions she takes you on is what makes this such an amazing read. But the other thing that makes this my all time favorite read is how believable her characters are. And, just wait till you read Harrison. There's no way he won't melt your heart. His simple approaches to life and how you treat people will have you saying awww more times than you can count and his relationship with his son Quinn is nothing less than beautiful. I love than she wrote a single father storyline and she nailed it. There are not enough words for me to tell you how much I enjoyed this book. It's one I've read many times and will read many more times because I don't tire of these characters. The motorcycle scene is pretty H-O-T too!

It's hard to pinpoint exactly where I am in this, much like most anthologies, if one doesn't read them cover to cover. The second book, Falling, which is part three of a series, is on standby, as I do not have the other two in the series yet.

SO

I have read Edge of Darkness & Let Love In so far. Why so slow?

This anthology has done exactly what a publisher hopes & what I figured I would do, which is read all the books in a respective series. I am generally not one who can simply read one book in a series when I know there are more out there.

Good on ya, publisher. Dangit.

First off 11 books for $.99, you can't beat that!
I have read 8 of the 11 books so far and they are fantastic! 11 super hot book boyfriends for you to fall in love with. There is something for everyone in the Silk anthology, take your pick, but I suggest you read them all! A big thank you to the authors for putting this together.

What a treasure for a small amount of money. To have the opportunity to read eleven new artist is such a challenge. Cannot believe I get to read eleven full length novels by popular artist. Wish more of these anthologies were available. Highly recommend this anthology. Favorite in the collection was Falling from EK. Blair and Love In Between by Sandi Lynn.
