A lone utility man sent to restore communications to a remote space outpost finds the post strangely under-populated. The remaining inhabitants are more damaged than the broken equipment, and some have gone violently, rabidly mad. As he works to complete the complex repairs, the horror of what has happened slowly unfolds, and he desperately tries to preserve his sanity and his life. But before he can flee, he encounters one final terrifying truth, and this one he can’t escape.

Jon McGoran is the author of ten novels, including Spliced, Splintered and Spiked, a trilogy of near-future YA science fiction thrillers from Holiday House Books.Spliced was named to the ALA’s Library Information Technology Association (LITA) inaugural 2018 LITA Excellence in Children’s and Young Adult Science Fiction Notable Lists and was also named one of the American Bookseller’s Association’s 2017 ABC Best Books for Young Readers. Good little read

Was a good little read to pass an hour. Nothing ground-breaking but worth a lunchtime of anyones time. Would recommend.
