It's hard to like this book when the male lead is insufferable, treated her like a sex toy multiple times by easily dismissing her & leaving. Accused her of baby trapping or trying to hurt him . He never apologized & she never makes him grovel, he sucks

This is heaven in a shot glass full of vodka and set aflame . My heart and my nether was pounding reading this . It’s heaven , it’s hot , it’s freaking bliss . It sizzles it’s sexy and somewhat heady to boot . Now who is the lucky lady , shoot, caught in the Devil’s lair , cause I’d gladly swap places with the lucky mare. He’s dangerous but voracious and she can’t get enough which is just as well because she just wet his pants with vodka enough and now it’s her doing the panting as he sets her world on fire with a desire only he can sate. But wait ,it should be hate she feels as he steals her away…Aleksandr is crime , power and more , but she finds herself with him at a door as she’s in trouble , really deep and not the pregnancy she does keep but she’s witnessed a crime and here’s the thing his brother is the one who got killed.They both being Russian Bratvia. See a lot has happened from that hotel room where he left her. Her ex showed up called her a slut and she was off. That’s how she’s now in New York , she was waitressing when she had to boak on seeing the crime scene. Was she seen ? She’s on the run. And here is Aleksandr son of a gun…This should be fun….Hot dang Kat Steelers,you blew me away . Brilliant immersive writing ,I must say! Frigging A . I enjoyed every bit of it. AWESOME STORY!!!! I loved this mafia book!!! It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was totally intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. Talia and Aleksandr chemistry was sexual tension and the physical attraction was outstanding of passion and drama. He was dangerous mafia boss and she was the intrigue beautiful woman waitress who was overwhelmed of drama and chaos with someone will in up hurt or killed after someone who will try to hurt or kidnapped. She never thought that she could falling for a mafia boss like him could he protected her from all the madness. Her life will change forever in this moment being with him that night will be drama and romance.

Talia leaves San Francisco after her stalker ex goes too far. She starts working at a club with her sister and witnesses a murder on her third shift. She panicked and runs. Who finds her other than the one night stand she had in San Francisco… oh, did I mention she’s carrying his baby?! Now she’s held captive by the father of her baby, he says it’s to protect her but will he ever let her go? This book kept me on my toes! I couldn’t put it down and immediately ran to get book 2 (available tomorrow). I guess I can wait one more day while hanging in the edge of this cliff hanger! This book did NOT disappoint!

We first met Aleksandr and Talia in the prequel Deadly Intrigue. A one night stand that was supposed to end in San Francisco ends up in New York when Talia makes the move to stay with her best friend. To say this story is intense is an understatement. It had me gripping the edge of my seat the majority of the book. This fantastic story ends on a cliffhanger so be prepared. I can't wait for book 2!

Wow the chemistry between Aleksandr and Talia is off the charts hot. These characters are definitely chefs kiss. I enjoyed reading this book. The twists and turns were a rollercoaster of emotions. Talia is truly a queen and everything Aleksandr needs in his life. Even if he cannot admit it to himself. Guys always have to be stubborn 🤣. The author did a fantastic job with this book and developing the characters and the story. I cannot wait for its conclusion.

I did not want to put this book down! Unfortunately I had to sleep. I love Talia so much. She's such a great character and a strong one too. She fought Alek every chance she got. One of my favorite things about her is her kindness toward Alek's niece and nephew and her honesty. I like Alek too, but his character is overshadowed by Talia and Sandy and Dimitri. I felt more of a connection with them. I'm diving right into book 2.

Great read, it’s🌶️🌶️🌶️, fast paced, and all the twists and plots had me sitting on the edge of my chair trying to see what was next!!! Good story line a few grammar issues but not enough to make me stop reading it…..can’t wait to see what happens in book 2!!
