He’s running from his pain while she’s trying to escape her life. Until a chance meeting intertwines their lives in ways they never would have imagined…
When I went to Key West, the last thing I was looking for was love. Instead, I wanted to run far away from it and my life. But then I met her. Zara Leavitt. After overhearing her being shamed for eating alone, I couldn’t not step in. I knew as soon as I laid eyes on her that she was the one for me. The problem was all the baggage I carried was enough to fill an airport. Yet, I still looked for ways to spend time with her and invited her to all my adventures. Having a partner is always better than being solo, right? But the clock is ticking on our time together. With miles of distance between us and neither of us ready for love, will we find our way, or will we always be running from us?

This is a spicy little novella to keep you warm in the cold winter months!
Zara and Brad are well developed characters (even with the novella length of the story!) with their own baggage they are trying to escape with a nice vacation. Zara is taking a break from a controlling family and Brad is trying to find himself after a personal loss. I loved their instant chemistry! I loved how they just clicked with each other! It's a pretty quick reach and well written. This is a spinoff of a series, but you can enjoy this story on its own without having read the Sierra Cove series, though I do recommend reading it because it is a wonderful series!
