While it isn't unexpected, I feel way too much time is spend on the MCs relationships with his way too accepting harem and not in an interesting way at that. It is all surface level lust with little romance or character growth. It comes with some decent R&D and a reminder to the MC he can do better and especially faster if it comes to settling his main goals. So there is some progress later on and that section makes it a decent read in the end, but I really hope the plot speeds up.

This time Kousuke has to repel an invasion from some Holy Kingdom vassal states. He also spends quite a bit of time being conflicted by his role in the slaughter of so many during the course of wars so far. At least, he does when he isn’t constantly having sex with his expanding harem of monster girls. It was good overall.

Serves them right!

Our hero has done well in defending his wives territory, gain new women, and settling an issue that was plaguing him
