As the eldest of the Primordial Protectors of Clan Denarius, Ionus spent decades training his stubborn brothers and keeping them in line. Just once he’d like to take time off from worrying about them and focus on seeking that which his heart truly craves.

His mate.

If they even exist…

Free spirited, rock loving, cave spelunking Alex is on a quest to visit the most untouched spaces in the world. Without his GPS he gets lost in a twisted maze of caves and caverns. What’s his grandfather gonna say about that? Probably that Alex had banged his head on his beloved rocks one too many times.

When all attempts by the brothers to deter Alex fail, he winds up surrounded by five very angry dragons in a world he never knew existed.

Amethyst Storms is book 1 in the Primordial Protectors series. What happens when a fierce stickler of a dragon meets a thrill seeking human. Sounds like an ad for man seeking man, right? Well, I can promise you it’s anything but that.

LAYLA DORINE lives among the sprawling prairies of Midwestern America, in a house with more cats than people. She loves hiking, fishing, swimming, martial arts, camping out, photography, cooking, and dabbling with several artistic mediums. In addition, she loves to travel and visit museums, historic, and haunted places.

Layla got hooked on writing as a child, starting with poetry and then branching out, and she hasn’t stopped writing since. Hard times, troubled times, the lives of her characters are never easy, but then what life is? The story is in the struggle, the journey, the triumphs and the falls. She writes about artists, musicians, loners, drifters, dreamers, hippies, bikers, truckers, hunters and all the other folks that she’s met and fallen in love with over the years. Sometimes she writes urban romance and sometimes its aliens crash landing near a roadside bar. When she isn’t writing, or wandering somewhere outdoors, she can often be found curled up with a good book and a kitty on her lap.

Amazing! I loved this book hard! So fantastic from the start, I was hooked and couldn’t stop. I loved Alex and Ionus and his brothers too. The brothers conversations to each other and how that protect each other, so loving. Other conversations are funny. But Alex’s and Ionus’s could with each other and their dragon, the jokes, names, sweet words and snark and protectiveness, swoon worthy. How they both changed and got in the groove of things was so natural and how they brought more family in and excepted, right away, their great people/ dragons. My first dragon shifter book, I loved it! Loved the ending so much, I can’t wait for more. So looking forward to next book in September! A Must Read!!

Dragon love

This was my first foray in reading a book with Dragon Shifters, and I got to say I really enjoyed the story and the characters. I can't wait to see where the rest of the series goes.

COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN

PRIMORDIAL PROTECTORS Book #1. This is the introduction to a world that has everything you wish for. Mythical Dragons, Fated Mates and Babies. After centuries of training the vibrations of change have come. Ionus of the Clan Danarius can feel change in the air that's making him crankier than normal. He and his Brothers guard the gem stones. Alexander is a young man who chases climbing expeditions. Exploring too far this time will open a whole new world. TL TRAVIS and LAYLA DORINE have decided to blend their Award Winning Writing Styles. As a fan of both Authors, I am over the moon. These two write so smooth and flawlessly together. This story has it all. I was completely enthralled with this book and subject. I love Dragons and Fated Mates are the cherry on top. This is a book that will let you escape to a different place in time. This is so FANTASTIC I couldn't put it down. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. We are never to old to dream. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!

Okay the authors have teased me for months about this book and I was excited to dig my claws into this book. Ionus is the older brother we all wanted in our lives and the first to find his mate. Alex is absolutely perfect for this roll and not knowing much about his past and who he really is sucked me in. The banter that we get from our dragon was awesome, plus I loved that Alex could hear our dragon once they were bonded was beautiful. I really loved seeing the development of all of the characters for this series there are more twists and turns that I know will make us wanting for more. We are one of four books into this epic saga that will give us individual stories and one mixed story going through out.

nice start

This was a nice start to a series. I loved the found family. I’m a sucker for chosen family so I can’t wait to see not just the brothers, but other dragons find their mates. This is a start of a bigger plot. I would have lived to see more of that plot happening in this book. It kinda got to bogged down in baby details for me, but I still enjoyed the story.

For future:
Dual POV
No om/ow
No cheating or sharing
Strict on page

I love dragon stories but I didn't enjoy this. The writing is bland and simplistic, I simply don t care for they dialog. The formula should work but for some reason this is just uninteresting.None of the brothers made an impression

Good start to a series. But too much information thrown at you in a first book. Could have let some of it simmer and build over the whole series
