This is a sweet historical western love story with a cast of strong characters centering on Gabriel and Lily. The author does a great job developing the story and paints her scenes perfectly. She pulled me in and kept me turning the pages from start to finish. She brings all the emotions, moves it fluidly and delivers a wonderful book. Loved and recommend reading.

An amazing story that will have you turning the pages. Gabe and Lily's story is such a sweet story. Both Gabe and Lily have many obstacles to overcome throughout the book. This story is jammed packed with action that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I felt so apart of these families. You don't have to be blood related to be a family in this story. The characters were so real and well developed the plot was very realistic. It had my emotions spiraling. I laughed and cried with them all. One avalanche brings a whole town and strangers together for a very memorable Christmas. You won't want to miss reading this book. I highly recommended it.
This is a really good story and I really enjoyed reading it. When Lily and Gabe first meet it's after an avalanche traps the stagecoach he was traveling in. Her Aunt invites everyone that was on the stagecoach to stay at her in until the snow clears and they can travel again. As time goes by and Lily helps Gabe set up his house and forge, some strange things begin to happen but when everything is solved the answers to the problems isn't what everyone thought it would be. This really is a very good story.
A beautiful story filled with strong characters, suspense and budding romance. Lily has been living with her aunt due to the cruelty of the man her father wanted her to marry. During a terrible snowstorm some travelers are stranded when their coach is destroyed by an avalanche. Gabe is one of the travelers coming to town to start a new business. Please read to find out if a relationship will develop between them.
Carol Colyer always writes a great book, and this is one of those compelling stories. Read about Lily as she recovers from emotional turmoil, in the midst of winter, stranded during a snowstorm at her aunt's inn with a group of people. Gabriel, a blacksmith that has just arrived in Snowpeak, is one of those stranded. That is just the beginning of the wonderful book.
I enjoyed reading this romantic and historical western story that was filled with lots of action and mysterious incidents were happening that t held my interest. I could hardly put thus book down.
