I really enjoyed this. As someone with ADHD, I’m always looking for ways to work with my brain instead of fighting against it.

The assessment at the start of the book helped me identify my biggest executive functioning challenges, and the strategies throughout were clear and practical.

I also appreciate the nonjudgmental view on medication. It acknowledges that taking meds or not for ADHD is personal (everyone is different). I do take ADHD medication myself and still have to constantly work with my brain (hence why I read this!) Because again, meds are a tool- not a cure- and combining them with strategies like the ones in this book is what really helps.

I recommend giving this a read if you or someone you love has ADHD! Or honestly, even if you don’t have ADHD but are looking for strategies to maintain structure in your life, I’d say it’s worth the read.

It did take me almost a month to finish this even though it’s kinda short, but that’s because I broke it down by section and took notes. :)
