My Selling Pitch:
Thinly veiled and incoherent Tamlin and Rhysand smut.
On my do not read list.
Pre-reading:
Picking up some brainrot to soothe my soul while I make my way through The Names. Another book box pick, so obviously hoping for another Run Run situation.
(obviously potential spoilers from here on)
Thick of it:
I'm so sick of the shadow daddies.
Oh, his name sounds like a sneeze.
And I would dnf right here.
This is so poorly written. Everything is so disjointed and abrupt.
Dude, this is unreadable.
Actually unreadable. There was no basic editing.
Also, horny out of nowhere.
How is a printer familiar enough to him to use it in a metaphor?
The servants from Acotar
It’s very Beauty and the Beast. (Book even name drops it.)
He smells like rusty metal is a choice. Let’s see that Bath and Bodyworks candle-Incoming Tetanus Shot
…why he got two dicks?
G sin
H-o-t-t-o-g-o🎶
This is just incoherent Rhysand and Tamlin smut.
“Fully skewered” is crazy.
She def meant coherent speech.
God, this is awful.
It’s cool, I’m not fucking my brother because he’s actually a clone of me, but I do still call him brother just to be taboo. Gag!
Post-reading:
I wanted to DNF chapter one, and it never got better. This is some incoherent copyright infringement skirting Tamlin and Rhysand smut. I’ve read better things on Wattpad. The sex scenes are repetitive and mid at best. This book bulldozes through its shoe string of a plot to get to the sex and then homegirl is horny instantaneously and in love with them even faster.
Don’t waste your time reading this. It wasn’t even worth the time I spent writing this review, but I’m a masochistic completionist.
Who should read this:
No one
Acotar smut fans
Ideal reading time:
Technically, a Halloween book
Do I want to reread this:
Fuck no.
Would I buy this:
Hard pass.
