Hostage to the Mafia . . .

This was a high octane read from the first page. The characters were so clear, human, and realistic with feelings and their actions were clearly motivated by those feelings and desires. Lorenzo and Valentina had an intense connection, and Dante's betrayal of them both only heightened their bond. As the lies and tangled web of deciet is carefully unwoven, will loyalties stand strong or will they prove to be mouthing more than the lies upon which they were founded?
This book not only engaged my attention, it kept me on the edge of my seat through all the twists, turns, and "hold your breathe" moments. This may well be my favorite Pearl book thus far! I'm greatful for the gift copy and highly recommend it to others. Happy Reading Y'all 📚

Lorenzo and Valentina. He takes her captive to lure his brother out of hiding. She says she hasnt seen him they are not together anymore and she doesnt know where he is. He tells her he'll come because he thinks she is still his and no one touches whats his. Lorenzo will let her go if she helps. She trys to seduce him and he stops her and she taunts him. He says is this what you are after .. his key card to open the door. Shes furious. She agrees to help him. Thus ensues the game of cat and mouse and passion and thats when lines become blurred. Theres kidnapping, suspense, betrayal and passion. Great read.

OMG best mafia drama ever. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. It was addicted and I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. Dante was missing as his ex’s girlfriend Valentina was worry about him and whereabouts but his older brother Lorenzo was very dangerous and powerful. There were many secrets and lies with betrayal on the line in all these chaos. Many lives are on the line and was Dante life in danger. One night with him will change her life forever in this moment of heartache and misery could she keep her child safe or will she be able to get away from this mafia life.

Love a good mafia read. This is a new author to me and I will read more from her.
