H and h met years previously and they were mates. I was trying to do some calculations in my head and I think h would have been about 16. 🤷♀️ Anyway H rejected her because he thought he was “saving” her. He regretted it so much he slept with many women during their time apart *charming guy*
h has some nasty parents who are looking to climb the social ladder. They are super nice to h in public but abuse her behind the scene. They want her to marry an alpha.
Surprise! The alpha h is to marry is H. She is NOT happy but she still marries him. He’s so glad to have her back. He’s slept with two twins before and they are quick to tell h how they enjoyed his penis. Yeah….awkward.
Most of the book deals with H trying to win h’s trust. His disturbed brother comes around and causes problems. So they are also dealing with that. I see that the brother’s book is next
The spice is very strange. Almost monotone when the author is describing the acts. I’d rate it 2 out of 5.

Leah has been abused by her parents and ignored by her pack, when she meets Killian, her young heart falls for him and when he rejects her, she is devastated.
Killian had made a vow to be there for his younger brother, and that is the reason he left Leah. He regretted it from day one, but thought she would never accept him back, so he didn’t try.
Now, her parents want her to marry an Alpha, so he becomes an Alpha so he can have her. She is not pleased, to say the least.
Once again, we are treated to strong Alphas who won’t take no for an answer, strong she-wolves who lead them a merry chase and an adversary they have to overcome; all together making another great read.
I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC copy of the book.

This was a good enjoyable second chance shifter story that's about Leah and Killian. Killian rejected Leah years ago and now he has a chance to make it up when her family lets it know that they're looking for an alpha mate for her. Killian refused her to support his brother Jasper forming his own pack and being his second in command. What occurs when Killian talks to his Alpha Jasper about forming his own pack and asking for Leah as his mate was an engaging story with likable characters, romance, and drama and action that kept me entertained. I'd volunteer to read and review this copy I'd received.

Yet another book where the mmc leaves the FMC because other things are more important. Sleeps with other women. Of course the FMC is still a virgin and pining. Takes him back very quickly with no grovel.
