I could not with this book. They flip flopped too much, and there were too many twists and turns. They all were hiding secrets, they all were bad, blah blah blah. I literally wanted to shake my phone because it was so frustrating. Like literally wtf did I just read. I thought the others were good but this was just not it babe

The Last Shadow is the conclusion to Damien and Frankie’s story and it is without a doubt the most diabolical conclusion to any book I’ve read in the last decade🤔

From the moment I finished book 1 of this series, I was waiting with bated breath for this book and here we are finally with this exciting conclusion to the cat and mouse game between Damien and Francesca.
Firstly, I loved the fact that we get a lot of yummy and spicy times with Damien and Francesca and just genuinely being together, in their own pretty bubble, falling more and more and more for each other... Well until the lies finally catch up.
After what happened at the end of book 2, I didn't know where we would be going from here because poor Francesca had her options dwindling each day and she wasn't even realising it.
The stakes have grown at an all time high and I was so nervous, not having a clue as to how Ms. Winters would end this thrilling ride of revenge and unknowingly falling for your prey.
The twists, once they start coming hit me and left me shocked, as they kept on coming. One reveal towards the end, had me like... Whatttt?! 😱
I really wasn't expecting the number of turns, Ms. Winters blasts us with that had me wide-eyed and wondering at the master mind of all the players involved.
Truly, you'll be shocked by the end of this book but honestly I really liked the way this book ended because, for me, it was perfect.
Ms. Winters, pretty please, would you write more of such books. I really had fun taking this thrilling ride with Damien and Francesca. Loved this one.❤️

This is the 3rd book in the Shadows and Strings series featuring the explosive conclusion to Damien and Frankie's exciting story. This book keeps you guessing with all of the twists and turns that keep you turning the pages to see what's going to happen next. Did Damien really cover his tracks as well as he thinks he has? Don't count Frankie out either she will definitely surprise you. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read the explosive twisted conclusion to this page-turning riveting series to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

I think this story is the best yet! It’s certainly addictive, and interesting.
This is a series that needs to be enjoyed in order, to have the best experience with this conclusion - and what an incredible conclusion it is! The twists and turns in this storyline kept me on the edge of my seat, as each secret and connection was revealed. I certainly didn’t see this ending coming. This has all the chemistry, violence and intrigue of the prior books, and Damion and Franchesca’s relationship will leave you speechless.
I highly recommend this series, and this author. Grab this series today, and get ready for a pulse pounding experience with these characters.

Finally, I have Book 3 in the Shadows and Strings series. I devoured it!
This story picks right up where book 2 left off. Damien is marrying Frankie! Not how he planned any of this. He was afraid of what would happen once she found out his secrets, but with a crazy twist, it all works out!
There were so many twists and turns in this story, I couldn't read fast enough. Some of the scenarios, I guessed and some of them were total surprises! I was disappointed in Frankie, that she didn't suspect any of what Damien had done, she was a good detective supposedly. I definitely didn't see her and Damien's story ending the way it did. Great story, great characters.

So this was the last book in the series and it was good. Frankie finally uncovers the mysteries of her new husband but there's a twist...... I do not want to spoil it so I won't. However, the secrets they both have are interesting, but the way she handled it was to hypocritical for me and I didn't like that in a charecter who was supposed to ve upstanding with morals. She wasn't even grey to me and I felt let down by who she was. But it was good book.

This is/ was a seriously intense, series! Full of so much drama, suspense, and horrible murders, with no knowledge of who the murderer is. This story will keep you guessing, and wanting more. As it progresses, you start guessing who might be behind the crimes, and can you even comprehend the why. Seriously amazing story.

I’m speechless, absolutely speechless! I could not have dreamed up this ending, not in a million years. Damion and Francesca’s tangled web will blow your mind. The first two books in the series were good but this one is filled with more twists and turns. Not to give spoilers, but there’s a major twist that results in a surprising ending. KB Winters is diabolical in the best kind of way.

This is the third book in the Shadows and Strings series. It’s the conclusion to Damien and Frankie's story. The intrigue, action, drama, suspense, danger and violence was non-stop. I was invested in the plot from start to finish. I never would have envisioned the fantastic ending. This is a fabulous series and I enjoyed it thoroughly!

The reveal was a bit lacking, it’s a bit too neat, for a supposed smart strong woman, the h ignored a lot of red flags but maybe it got something to do with the end. Is Nick supposed to be Nate? It’s annoying when authors can’t keep their characters name straight. The twist in the epilogue is hard to believe especially when the author gave no explanation.

Wow, what an epic conclusion to Damien and Frankie's crazy journey of love. From the murder mystery, danger, suspense, and intrigue to the captivating storyline, steam, and unexpected ending this is a page turning conclusion to the Shadows and Strings trilogy. I love KB Winter's writing and this is one trilogy that I will be rereading. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Ending was kind of sloppy and far-fetched. And also rushed, I would've appreciated a bit more coherence in how everything got solved so easily, didn't make sense to me.
Also, this book pissed me off so fucking much. I never wanted to slap a character into some sense so much in my life. Girl, how blind can you be?
But as a whole, this series is so bingeable and addicting.

A great book. Damien and Frankie's story keeps you hooked from the start. Frankie has a few tricks up her sleeve that no one saw coming. This was a great series and one that is definitely worth reading.

Incredible Conclusion to Damien and Frankie's story!! The first book took me a little bit to get into, but then left you wanting more by the end of it. The second book really got me invested in what was going on with Damien and Frankie's life. By the time the third book came around, I was so excited! The ending did not disappoint, it was worth the wait!!! There is action, betrayal, secrets, with a lot of twist and turns.
Make sure to read the books in order or you will be lost. THIS IS AN INTERESTING, AMAZING, AND AWESOME SERIES!! You won't be able to put the books down!!
