When boargamegeek.com has multiple entries, they eventually will merge them together. Does Goodreads do that? I’m betting no.

I don’t know what this series is, but I have some more time to read this morning and I’ve got a Batgirl theme running.

”Home Again, Home Again” starts with a black out in Barbara Gordon’s apartment building.

Some great stuff with the neighbors reactions to it.

Barbara’s messing with the wiring for her computer setup. She’s forgotten that her father is going to pick her up for dinner in 20 minutes.

We get a shower scene with Barbara. Now, I know that could seem exploitive (and I’ll admit I wouldn’t mind it all that much if it was) but I think it’s actually cool that they show us what it’s like for a person in a wheel chair to take a shower on their own.

Jim Gordon talks about wishing Barbara were in a better neighborhood and that it’s the first time they’ve gotten together since Barbara got back. From where I don’t know. He also notes that Batman is gone. (Editorial footnotes would be nice).

Elswhere the Calculator is in the hospital in disguise visiting his daughter Wendy who was hurt in some sort of Teen Titans dust up.

At home Barbara works out and ponders her condition. Why do her ‘legs’ hurt?

Then she calls someone named Cheese-Fiend on the computer. Apparently she’s helping Barbara find the Anti-Life Equation on the internet. It really should not be there.

The Calculator has socially hacked his way into computers systems looking for the same thing. He discovers Cheese-Fiend’s searches and sends her an email.

Barbara connects with Chaos Larry and asks him to keep an eye on someone in the Alta Viva game. This is how the Calculator contacted Cheese-Fiend.

Calculator is having diamonds cut with mathematical precision to a certain formula.

The Calculator and Cheese-Fiend virtually meet in the Alta Viva game. Barbara is watching and figures out who the Calculator is, and warns Cheese-Fiend to get out of there.

Lots of cool stuff here. Not sure how this comic came about but it’s really interesting.

The writing is by Kevin Vanhook. The art is by Julian Lopez, Fernando Pasarin and Bit & Hi-Fi’s David Bryant. The artwork is excellent here. Better even that the… well, I don’t know how to describe good but different but I like it.

5 stars and recommended.
