What’s bigger than swoony? Because whatever it is, it is Shawn!!! 😍😍😍
Oh my gosh, can I give this book a million stars!!! I loved, loved loved this book sooooo much. Swoony, Heartfelt, Beautiful, Emotional, Incredible, Amazing, Fantastic! Yes, all these words describe this book and I can’t forget holy steamy, steamy, steamy! I’m still fanning myself from the hotness that exuded from this story.
First these two characters are incredible. I knew I was going to love Shawn so much from meeting him in Brittanee’s previous books, Love & Tequila Make Her Crazy and Wishing for Champagnes Kisses. I knew he was fantastic and would make my heart flutter. And let me tell you, wow, Shawn blew me away. He is everything! Everything you want from a perfect male character, everything you need from a perfect book boyfriend and he is just looking for someone he can share his life with. I mean come on, how amazing is that! He’s sweet and fun and handsome and heartwarming. Shawn’s swoon factor is incredible! I mean the guy literally can do no wrong, he is perfect. He protects Jules, he takes care of her, he gives her everything she wants and so much more. What’s bigger than swoony? Because whatever it is, it is Shawn. He’s a former baseball player, now turned firefighter, and will do everything for those he cares about, especially Jules.
Jules, oh beautiful sweet, amazing Jules! You brought me to tears. I wanted to constantly reach in the book and hug you. You are lost and need to be found. Jules comes to Bristol in search of finding her long lost family. She is seeking to reunite with the sisters she didn’t know existed. She feels lost and yet needs so desperately to make a connection. I love her. I love her determination to try to fit in. I literally was brought to tears when she was trying to figure this all out. Shawn and Jules together is fireworks. They start out explosive, Jack kisses Jules thinking she is his best friend, Hailey, when in turn Jules is the long lost twin of Hailey. Crazy fun, right! Soooo clever! And sooo entertaining.
The holiday part to this book was amazing. It made me feel so warm and cozy. And though this is centered around the holidays, no matter what, you must read it any time of the year. Shawn and Jules with have you swooning. The book will warm your heart. It will have you laughing, crying and not wanting to put it down! Did I mention how swoony Shawn is?! I mean it ***yells from the roof tops, “everyone read this book!!!” Ok I’ll stop yelling now, but seriously, read it! ***It is everything. Brittanee Nicole has become a top favorite author of mine. I enjoyed this book far more than I expected... The opening three me a little as I was unsure of the direction and who was gonna be the true love interest. I am not gonna spoil on "which twin" Shawn ends up with, Hailey or Jules but I am glad with the choice and the HEA was spoil on sweet.
Only problem is I met so many side characters I want all their stories too... The chosen twin has two sisters who both need their HEA's and ALL of those firemen, especially Dane and Mason need their own books too... Yes I know the Chief gets his spicy story... What is it the the Bristol Bay firemen and their kinky rope play ;)

I love Brittany's books and I was very excited to finally see Shawn get his happily ever after because he has been with me for quite awhile now! This book was funny and steamy and perfect. Shawn is the perfect tough Marshmellow who everyone needs in their life.

A Very Merry Margarita mix-up is a multiple POV story mainly following Jules, Hailey and Shawn. I enjoyed this as it gives you both Jules and Hailey’s perspective as they navigate life now knowing each other exist. With the multiple POV we are given an insight into Shawn perspective for the women’s journey/ reconnection and his journey to finding his place and people. While there was a few spots that didn’t hit the mark for me causing the rating to drop (example; where it’s commented on how FMC eats three slices of pizza and how can FMC have a nice body when she eats like that).
I enjoyed the character development through out and found myself invested not only in the MCs but a few of the secondary characters as well as they were well developed and a great addition to the story line. This book overall is a story of reconnection, fond family and finding your place all wrapped up with Christmas vibes.

While this sweet book was cheesy AF, it was also swoony and a nice reprieve from the typical third act breakup. And Christmasy, so that’s a plus! And small town, which I adore. Jules learns that she isn’t an only child after all. She has a twin sister and an older sister and a father and grandmother! She leaves LA to go to Bristol, Rhode Island to meet her long lost family. But she gets waylaid by a gorgeous guy marching up to her and kissing the life out of her.
Shawn has had a huge crush on his best friend Hailey for months, and he’s gotten a sign from the universe that now is the time for him to make his move. Only he finds out that he never kissed Hailey, instead he laid one on her twin sister! Not exactly the mix up he’d aimed for. But as he gets to know Jules, he realizes that he never really did have feelings for Hailey, at least none as strong as his feelings for Jules. And now that they’re officially roommates, he’d like to explore those feelings. Between his new job as a firefighter and her new job as a baker, they manage to fall in love.
So, I liked this story, but the plot was kind of all over the place. We get three different perspectives, and for the most part I couldn’t stand Hailey. I haven’t read the first four books, so it was hard to keep up with allllll of the characters. But I have never read a more cinnamon roll than Shawn, and the ending was incredibly sweet, as was the way that Jules and Shawn treated each other. Green flags all day!

I FREAKING LOVED THIS BOOK. Honestly Shawn is 🥵🥵🥵 I was not expecting him to be the way he was. I loved that this gave off Parent Trap vibes.
Jules was the sweetest and I just freaking adored her and Shawn together. I loved seeing the relationship growth between Jules & Haley too!
I did give this 5 stars because I sorta wanted more to happen between Jules and her father.. and also, who was starting the fires??? Did I miss that?
Aside from that, this is an amazing romcom to read!!! Totally recommend!!

Woo Wee, got me all tied up in love with Shawn!
Shawn Chase is back in Bristol Bay. After receiving a letter from his friends in Tahoe, and included is the dollar bill on which he'd written his own wish. It's time. He’s decided to take a chance, to see if the feelings he has for his best friend Hailey are the real deal.
After receiving a life-changing letter from a grandmother she's never met, Juliana Kingsley decided to seek the truth about who she really is and where she's from. There's no way her mother could have hidden the fact that she not only has siblings, but a twin sister!
While standing on the pier debating on what to do, a strange man walks right up to her and gives her the best kiss of her life. Then he tells her that hes been wanting to do that for a long time and if she feels the same, she needs to meet him for dinner the following night. She’s not only left in shock, but also wanting more.
This is my first full length read by this author, but wow she knows how to bring the laughs and the heat. The mix-ups are so hilarious, I was sucked in and enjoyed every crazy moment. The lengths that Shawn goes to to make sure every wish on Jules’s 'first real Christmas' is fulfilled left me with a full heart and a fever. This book boyfriend definitely brings the heat, and knows how to fan the flames of love. Excellent read, and I want more!

The story between Jules and Shawn I felt was well paced and their development was great! The amount of spice was on a lower scale 𝐁𝐔𝐓 the quality of the spice…I was legitimately blushing, thus the reason I gave it a 5/5 on the spiciness scale!
This was my first time reading anything by Brittanee Nicole and I am hooked! Having never read anything within the Bristol Bay series I didn’t feel lost. I felt pretty much all of the characters were explained as far as who is who. The author does note that this book is interconnected but it also is a standalone.
I will definitely be going back an reading more from Brittanee Nicole!

Brittanee became my all time hero with this book! The MMC shuts down the typical misunderstanding flat out!! -

Talk to your sister. Ask her about what you heard. Don’t attack. Don’t assume. And don’t tell me that I don’t know the woman I love. Because I do. And I promise you, whatever you heard, it was something else completely.”
The faith Jules and Shawn have in each other in this book melts your heart and proves that Shawn is a gooey cinnamon roll!

This is the absolute perfect Christmas story! It has all of the holiday cheer that you want, plus laughs and lots of spice!!! A cinnamon roll, hot fire fighter plus the quirky and clumsy Jules (who will be everyone’s best friend by the time you’re done with this book) make this a book you can’t put down but also want to savor. If Netflix doesn’t turn this into the perfect Christmas movie I’m going to be very disappointed.

Oh My Shawn! I love this book from the first page to the end! This small town, Bristol Bay is definitely a magic place. This is the perfect book for this Christmas Season. If you love a cinnamon roll firefighter hero and a sweet bakery heroine this is the book for you. Shawn finally is in his way to see his wish come true, the perfect Mix-up. The love, the trust, the romance, the spicy, everything is perfection. The real meaning of Family and friends is so amazing, always there for them. All the Bristol Bay couples from previous books are here to make us remember why we fall in love with all of them. And Shawn is definitely my favorite. This Mix-up give us the perfect couple ever. Their love is powerful and so amazing, their relationship too and their HEA spectacular. Can’t wait for all the new characters stories. Please!!!

After reading the Silver Linings series, I was dying for Shawn’s story. So I was so excited to read this book. And it did not disappoint! This book was absolutely perfect!! Shawn, he’s this amazing character. You will fall in love with him. And Jules. She comes to Bristol, looking for the family she never knew about. She’s sweet, and kind, and wants a relationship with her new family. When Shawn mistakenly kisses her, both their lives are changing. He knows she’s it for him. And she’s never felt the way he made her feel. This book drew me in from the start. And I fell in love with these characters. This book, everything about it is soo good. And I just have to say, after reading, I now need a story for Hailey, and all the firemen. Especially Mason. Definitely recommend this book, and all of this authors other books.

I gave this book 5 stars because Shawn (our hero) gave me literally butterflies. He is the definition of cinnamon roll, but with a little bit (ok a lot) of spice. I honestly think this is my favorite book yet this year. I couldn’t put it down and when I had to (hate adulting) all I could think about was getting back to Bristol to see my favorite fireman.
As you can see I LOVED the romance in this book, but the friendships in this book were 🥰. It’s all we ever really want as humans is to feel like we belong.
My favorite thing about @authorbrittaneenicole books is that we get to see the characters we already fell in love with and what their stories look like.

I was so excited to finally read this book! I’ve been waiting for Shawn.
We met Shawn in the Silver Linings Series in Tahoe – broody bartender, fresh off the MLB train. He watched as several people made wishes on dollars, and had them come true. He put a wish on one, and left Tahoe for Bristol to be closer to his sister, Charlotte – who we met in She Likes Pina Coladas. And of course, there’s more shenanigans from Carmella!
I love how open Shawn is in this book, and I think he’s replaced Ryan (Wishing for Champagne Kisses) as my current book-love. I wish for one of his margaritas, and more of Shawn in general. If you are looking for a sweet, cinnamon roll fireman with some hidden talents, definitely check this book out.
Another excellent story from Brittanee Nicole!
We met Shawn in the Silver Linings Series in Tahoe – broody bartender, fresh off the MLB train. He watched as several people made wishes on dollars, and had them come true. He put a wish on one, and left Tahoe for Bristol to be closer to his sister, Charlotte – who we met in She Likes Pina Coladas. And of course, there’s more shenanigans from Carmella!
I love how open Shawn is in this book, and I think he’s replaced Ryan (Wishing for Champagne Kisses) as my current book-love. I wish for one of his margaritas, and more of Shawn in general. If you are looking for a sweet, cinnamon roll fireman with some hidden talents, definitely check this book out.

Shawn and Jules are like that amazing dessert that is so sweet it hurts your teeth but you can’t say no to. Each one has such relatable mentalities of feelings of inadequacy, times of anxiety that made them so endearing to me. It’s a refreshing reminder that even those that look like they have it all, still have their own struggles. I loved reading how Jules builds a relationship with her family, find friends, and the life she wants in this beautiful small town. The way that Shawn goes out of his way to make life better for Jules is absolutely beautiful. The tension between Shawn and Jules is delicious, but the spice between them is full of dominant hotness.

This is my first Christmas read of the season and my first read by author and let me say this book is amazing. I loved everything about this story. It touches so many issues we face in our lives and let me just say Shawn is everything he is hands down the best and def a new Book Husband. I couldn't get enough and ate this book up. This book is filled with love, laughs, sadness and spice. Love this group and can't wait to read the other books in this series.

This book did not disappoint let me just tell you. I loved Shawn & was so ready to finally see him get his HEA and of course he does. Jules & his chemistry was 🔥 & oh did it get spicy. I loved seeing the growth between them overtime & was really impressed with this book. I highly recommend you read it, because once again Brittanee does an amazing job with each characters.

This romance story is so good then bam it turns spicy, like level 3 spice. I really can’t say enough how romantic this book is. We all need a Shawn in our lives. I’m not normally a Hallmark Christmas story kinda gal but with the spice I loved it.

Brittanee did it again! Another amazing book, and another book that made me cry! And I am not a crier! This book also made me smile, laugh, and swoon!
This is the perfect book for the Christmas season! After Jules finds out she not only has an older sister but a twin sister, she goes to Bristol Bay. As soon as she gets there, Shawn kisses her, thinking she is Hailey, her twin. Jules goes to meet her grandmother and her sisters and finds out that she is being given an ice cream shop. But she has had dreams of opening a bakery and that is what she does. With the help of Shawn, firefighters, and the community. During this process, Shawn moves in with her and they become closer. Shawn helps to make all her Christmas dreams come true. Including borrowing a reindeer!

I have to say, the growth that Jules had was amazing! She went from being this timid shy girl to being able to speak up for herself and get what she wants. Also, I loved her way of cursing. I loved how she named the spider.

Shawn also had a lot of growth. Can I just say that I LOVE that he reads romance books?! And not just romance books, but the spicy smutty kind!!!
"Romance books. I read them. More men should read them. They're good for more than just turning my girlfriend on."
I loved loved loved that we saw characters from the other books in this series. I especially loved Carmella and her muumuus. Let's not forget the hot firefighters! I really hope that we get books that involve Dane and Mason!
Once again, Brittanees writing is amazing and really pulls you into the story and makes you feel like you are part of this friend group. Sitting there watching this play out in front of you. I cannot wait to see what you have in store next!

I am so in love with this book. I don’t have words to express how much. Shawn is my newest favorite book boyfriend and I just can’t get enough of him. This is the most perfect holiday read to get me in my Christmas time happy place. The relationship development between Shawn and Jules was just perfection. I cannot recommend this book enough. Perfect for the holiday and honestly perfect for any time of year. Do yourself a favor and read this book!!! You will fall head over heels in love

Their mom, taking one twin and running away to California and their dad being left with the other twin and their older sister in New England. Neither twin knows about the other, or why they were split up. One day Jules finds out she has a twin, a piece that's been missing in her heart all her life. Desperate to have the Christmas she has only been able to dream of, she shows up to her grandmama's house and you'll have to read the book from there to see what happens.
If I was not in the Christmas spirit I am now! This story needs to be a movie because that's how it played out in my head. It was perfect, Shawn is perfect. I'm not a sports fan but I would be for him!
The banter was endearing, Brittanee did such an amazing job describing the people, places and events. The chemistry created between Jules and Shawn...I could melt!

I have been dying to read Shawn’s story since reading the entire Silver Linings Series and it did NOT disappoint!
Shawn’s dollar bill wishing for a “mix-up” has finally fallen off of the wall at the Silver Lining Bar and he’s back in Bristol Bay to try and make a life there. He’s not entirely sure what kind of mix-up he’s looking for he just knows it’s time.
With a renewed sense of purpose he walks right up to his best friend Hailey and kisses her senseless telling her to meet him for dinner the next night if she feels the same way.
What Shawn doesn’t know is that he didn’t kiss Hailey. He kissed her long lost twin sister Jules who is in town to connect with the Family she’s never known.
As Jules gets to know her Family and Shawn realizes who she is (and isn’t) they start to become “just friends” despite the fiery chemistry between them. As their feelings for one another grow and they learn more about each other will Shawn be able to hold on to Jules? Or is she not looking to lay down roots and make a home for herself with her new Family?

I LOVED this book! I mean obviously I love anything and everything that Brittanée writes and this was no exception. The way Shawn and Jules friendship grows and turns into something more is so “book boyfriend perfect” (Shawn reads Romance books so he’s got some tricks up his sleeve) So guys out there takes notes! Jules is so precious and I fell in love with her quiet innocence immediately. Shawn is just….damn I don’t have a word for him but aside from perfect in all of the ways that Jules needs him to be.

I seriously loved it!! Omg I’m obsessed!! I started and finished the book in one day. I couldn’t put it down!!
Shawn a handsome cinnamon roll fire fighter, Jules a sweet and loving baker! They are the perfect match. I loved their whole story and how they grew together overtime. He is so sweet and took his time with her. He is protective and caring, especially to the ones he loves and cares for.
Jules grew a lot throughout the story. A sweet, shy caring woman who finds out her family is much bigger than she thought. She grew into a more confident person and handled all the changes so well.
Overall their passion and chemistry was just so amazing and sweet. Love how much she trusts him and was able to explore more things with him.
I need more!! Shawn and Jules are absolutely one of my favorite couples.

A Very Merry Margarita Mix-Up takes us back to Bristol Bay where we ask: "Is everyone in this town that good looking? Or am I just that horny."
(Sidenote: this book can be read as a standalone from the Bristol Bay series, although I highly recommend reading them because they are THAT good!)

Shawn….swoon omg when he falls, he falls HARD! this was a nice and sweet, low angst read and just what i needed. however it left me with questions and wanting a little more. like why didn’t Caris remember her? there was no big reveal about the mom kidnapping her or even a big reunion with her dad. i just wanted more emotion from them. her sister was such a bitch for no reason and it pissed me off…. but i will be reading her book when it comes out 😂 shawn and jules were so cute and i really loved them

Shawn is everything I was hoping for! I absolutely loved this book. I loved Shawn and Jules. I really enjoyed how they met and fell for each other. I loved getting to see both of them find their places and grow together.

4 let’s bake some cookies and deliver them to our local fire station so I can find myself a Shawn stars! This book is everything you are looking for in a Christmas read! Over the top grand gestures, romance, spice, and cinnamon roll fire fighters. What else could you want, except a reindeer and kittens, of course! If you are looking for a cozy and fun read this holiday season, this is a great choice!
