A page turning thriller
I just pre-ordered Hunting Sommer, book 9 in this series. Why? Book 8! Not only is Nicholas Harvey a master at his craft, but he is also quite a juggler. In the latest adventure, we find Nora Sommer juggling three unrelated cases... until they are not. The action doesn't stop as I was taken along on a ride of thrills, intrigue, violence, and passion. The growth Nora underwent touches my heart while not forgetting to allow me to smile along the way. Supporting characters are always well developed. Do get the bonus material, and when our master juggler is finished, do not be surprised if you pre-order Book 9 as well.

This by far is the best Nora Sommer book I've read, and i have read all eight. Well constructed, we have three crises happening simultaneously. Ultimately, they turn out to be interconnected, but not until we go through much of the book. This book show's Nora's gwowth as a new detective in Grand Cayman, and revisits where Nora came from: a sex trafficking victim in the Caribbean. Since this book is part of a lengthy series, starting here might be confusing, but not impossible. I applaud Harvey for keeping the books fresh and exciting. I believe the next book will be the end of the series, and I for one will be sad to see it end. This is a great summer series to read.

Missing Sommer
Whew! This story, with all its twists and turns, was exhausting...but in a good way. I couldn't put it down. There is just enough technical jargon to make you feel involved in the case, and laughs as Nora fights her way thru our slang. I felt as though I am really getting to know all the characters and like them very much. Sidenote: I hope Nora and David meet again. I can hardly wait til the next one. Thank you!

This series just keeps getting better and better and each book is awesome and this one is very much - awesome!! It's funny to read Nora navigating the English language and thought patterns. But she's smart as a whip and intelligent as all get out!! This author did an excellent job of combining three storylines in one book. Had me on the edge of my seat !!

In the eight installment in this popular series, detective-in-training Nora Sommer dives undercover as a stripper on a luxury floating “gentlemen’s club.” Her mission? Find a missing young girl, and against her boss’s orders, help clear a falsely-accused colleague and friend. Quirky characters and relentless suspense drive this story to a chaotic and fun climax. Highly recommended.

great story
This was actually two cases in one. Summer investigates a drug ring by going undercover and investigates a kidnapping. Lots of twists and turns! Lots of suspense! Very entertaining!

I love this series. Nora is a wonderful character, gritty, funny, loving. My only complaint is that there aren't more books in this series already, as now I have to wait for the next one.

I love Nora Sommer
I have read the entire series and enjoy her oftentimes quirky way of dealing with situations. I am looking forward to more Nora Sommer. Thank you, Nicholas Harvey for such a wonderful character.

Always a good story
Once again Nora leads the way on multiple crimes and even though she does not always play along and tends to curse she has always Bern able to solve them with the help of her police partners ciao from Bobbie and George

great series
I'm amazed that this author can write so many fantastic novels, I hope that he never stops writing. His books are some of the best Entertainment I have read and worth the time to read them. Thank you for a very fun entertaining read.

Of all the books I read, I can never get enough of the Viking (Nora). The intense situations she finds herself in and the humor of her character. Excellent story.

Love Constable Sommer
Nora is no nonsense, direct, and to the point and a shear joy to ride along with. She does have a knack for trouble though. Worth reading every word.
