Nightcaps at The Beach House Hotel is the ninth book in the Beach House Hotel series. Once again, Judith Keim has given the readers a wonderful story from start to finish! This book will delight fans as well as any readers that are new to this author! Each book in this series can be read as a stand-alone. However, I recommend reading each book in the series because every subsequent book is a bit like going home and catching up with old friends while making new ones at the same time!

Ann and Rhonda know that whenever a request for help comes from the vice-president, trouble is sure to follow. This time, the request is to help Darryl Douglas... a nighttime tv talk show host that is in trouble... and allow him to stay at the hotel for some much needed privacy. They need to think it over and decide to watch his show while sipping on some nightcaps. After talking it over, they end up allowing him to stay in a guesthouse on the property... next door to the other one being occupied by the actress Tina Marks. What could possibly go wrong??

The story that unfolds is one thing after another for Rhonda and Ann. Of course, they expected some trouble, but now they are concerned because the hotel's reputation is at risk! Will saying yes to the favor by the vice-president be their downfall, or will they somehow get through all of the crazy obstacles thrown in their path? One thing everyone knows about Rhonda and Ann is that the words "giving up" aren't part of their vocabulary!

I absolutely loved Nightcaps at The Beach House Hotel. I'm a huge fan of the author, and especially this series, but even this book caught me off-guard with the constant craziness Rhonda and Ann have to deal with. I was completely and totally drawn into this story and, at one point, wasn't sure how it would play out. I honestly can't stress enough just how wonderful this book...and series...truly is!

I was given an ARC by the author. My views are my own and are in no way influenced by anyone else.

I'm thrilled to go back to the Beach House Hotel and catch up with Ann and Rhonda and their families. The two women have worked very hard to make their hotel successful and one of the main reasons is that they protect the names of the people who are staying there which really makes a difference with movie stars and politicians who want to be away from the news media and the paparazzi.

The vice-president has asked Ann and Rhoda to rent a house on their property to Darryl Douglas, who is a nighttime talk show host. It seems like every time they listen to the VP, they end up with problems. But after watching his show, they decide to let him come. The other house on the property is being rented to Tina, a long time friend and movie star who is bringing her personal trainer to help her get in shape for a new movie. Both guests need anonymity as they hide from the public to deal with problems. When Darryl's ex-wife rents a room, trouble starts almost immediately. She doesn't know that he's also there and Ann and Rhonda work to keep it that way. But she's a real publicity hound and starts to give interviews and invite photographers to take her photos so she can stay in the news. To make things even more difficult, another person checks in who refuses to follow the rules. Ann and Rhoda have their hands full trying to protect their hotel and their goal to allow their guests total anonymity. Along with all of these issues, they are busy hosting weddings and, most importantly working very hard to find time to spend with their families.

Nightcaps at the Beach House is another fantastic book in this series. I'm going to hate to say goodbye to these two wonderful friends when the series ends with book 10. Once again as with the other books in the series, the author highlights strong older women who work hard to balance their time so that they can spend quality time with their families.

**Nightcaps at the Beach House Hotel** by Judith Keim

I have always found great enjoyment in Judith Keim's delightful series set at the Beach House Hotel. Each instalment is filled with intriguing events, allowing readers to reconnect with the beloved characters we've come to know and love throughout the series. This particular book is a charming addition that complements the collection beautifully, and overall, it offers a light and enjoyable reading experience.

In this story, Ann and Rhonda find themselves in a precarious situation when they receive an unexpected request from a high-ranking vice president. She needs their assistance in providing a private space at the hotel for a well-known nighttime talk show host who is currently facing a crisis. Although the opportunity seems promising, Ann and Rhonda can’t shake their lingering worries; after all, whenever they’ve lent a helping hand in the past, trouble has inevitably followed.

As they unwind with nightcaps in hand, the pair settles in to watch Darryl Douglas’ talk show, discussing their decision to allow him to rent one of the cozy guesthouses on the property. Coincidentally, at the same time, their cherished daughter-of-the-heart, Tina Marks, is staying in the adjacent house with her personal trainer, Abbie Hathaway, which adds an exciting layer of complexity to the unfolding events.

Their plans take a dramatic turn when Darryl’s ex-wife unexpectedly shows up at the hotel. Her frequent appearances escalate tensions, resulting in a series of mishaps that jeopardize the hotel’s reputation. Faced with these challenges, Ann and Rhonda must rally together to navigate the chaos and protect the integrity of their beloved establishment. The struggle not only tests their resilience but also strengthens their bond as they work tirelessly to restore order in their beautiful beachside haven.

Ann and Rhonda are co-owners of The Beach House Hotel where people go for privacy, excellent service and delicious good. When the Vice-President ask you a favor, it's really hard to say no. She asked if they could provide a private place for a nighttime talk show host, named Daryl Douglas. When they checked out his show while sipping on a nightcap, they see a nice, funny young man. They agree and decide to put him in a guest house away from the hotel. It’s very private and has Security. When Ann and Rhonda meet him, they knew they made the right decision taking him on. The other guest house is also taken by an actress and personal friend of Ann and Rhonda, Tina Marks, and her personal trainer, Annie Hathaway. When Tina and Abbie meets Daryl they become fast friends and Daryl ask Abbie to help train him. Abbie and Daryl seem to have chemistry. They work on him with exercise and eating healthy. You can see the difference in a couple of weeks. Daryl has more confidence and feels great. Now if he can get out of his contract and finalize his divorce, he will be doing great. Lots of things happen. His ex shows up and tries to cause trouble. What will happen? Will she see him there? Will she cause him more pain? Twist and turns for poor old Daryl. Can he come out ahead of all the problems that followed him? What will happen to him and Abbie? Will they go their separate ways or will they fight for each other? I love all the characters. They all end up becoming a large family. That's what I love about this series. Worth the read. Judith Keim makes you feel like you're part of the story and part of the family. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntary

It's always fun to return to The Beach House Hotel and see what Ann and Rhonda are up to, what guest are coming to stay, especially those VIP Guests and what's happening with their families and t he hotel family. They is always something happening, be it weddings, VIP events, holiday celebrations and errant guest who like to cause trouble like the President of the Neighborhood Association, Brock Goodwin and someone from Ann's husband past who likes to make herself more important than she is.

So the ladies have their hands full, running the hotel and keeping their guest happy. Tina Marks, who has become family to Ann and Rhonda has returned for a visit and is staying in one of the private house with her personal trainer Abbie Hathaway to get ready for a movie. And Podcaster Darryl Douglas has booked into one of the other private houses to get away from what's going on in his life with his divorce and other complications in his life. And like she always does, Rhonda the matchmaker sees the sparks with Darryl and Abbie and she is ready to do her thing to get these two together.

Reading this series is like coming back to old friends and staying in one of the premiere locations and sitting back and watching what is happening. Judith Kiem keeps her readers enthralled with the happening of the hotel and their families, with love, laughter, secrets and intrigue that makes her readers come back again and again to The Beach House Hotel.
So sit back, have a Nightcap or two and enjoy.

All's Well That Ends Well.... but getting there sure can be interesting

If you’re familiar with Rhonda and Ann and their Beach House Hotel, you’ll know that somehow, someway, trouble and problems always seem to visit alongside their guests. And it’s no different here. They do their best to provide a hideaway, or maybe I should say a hideout, to well known and popular people. This time is no different.

Hope you like plot twists because they are here, along with a famous talk show personality and an ex that bring about some tense moments. I can’t help but wonder if Ann and Rhonda ever regret knowing the Vice President, who always seems to need a favor… knowing people who know people can lead to issues, if not trouble.

The Beach House Hotel may be known for its famous guests but I like how so many of these ‘snooty’ guests learn a few life lessons and leave with a totally different demeanor. Ann and Rhonda just seem to know how to see through people and their problems. See, both have had their own issues to overcome and know how attitudes can be a coping mechanism to hide pain and denial. As Ann puts it, “The Beach House Hotel was our special baby, born of the need to prove that two dumped women could make a new, better life on their own and with new men in their lives who truly loved them.”

In “Nightcaps at The Beach House Hotel,” Ann and Rhonda, beloved characters in Judith Keim’s series, find themselves in a precarious situation when they receive a request from the vice-president to provide a private space for a nighttime talk show host, Darryl Douglas, who is experiencing difficulties. Their past experiences have taught them that helping this particular individual often leads to trouble.

As they sip nightcaps while watching Darryl’s show, Ann and Rhonda make the decision to allow him to rent one of the guesthouses at their hotel. Coincidentally, their cherished daughter-of-heart, Tina Marks, is renting the adjacent house with her personal trainer, Abbie Hathaway. This setup creates an interesting dynamic as both parties navigate their respective challenges.

The book could be characterized as a light “beach read” filled with humor and heartwarming moments. It celebrates themes of love, family, and strong women facing challenges with resilience. Readers can expect satisfying twists and happy endings throughout the narrative.

“Nightcaps at The Beach House Hotel” is part of a larger series that includes titles such as “Breakfast at The Beach House Hotel,” “Lunch at The Beach House Hotel,” and many others. Each book features engaging stories centered around relatable characters and their journeys.

Heartfelt storytelling, delightful characters, and top-notch narration make Nightcaps at the Beach House Hotel a must-listen or read!

Listening to Nightcaps at the Beach House Hotel felt like catching up with old friends. Judith Keim has a way of crafting stories that draw you in, and this latest installment in the Beach House Hotel series was no exception. I've listened to nearly all of her audiobooks, and they never fail to deliver wonderful storylines with interesting characters that make you care about their journeys.

Ann and Rhonda continue to charm with their humor and heart as they navigate the challenges that come with running their beloved hotel. The matchmaking subplot and the drama surrounding Darryl Douglas brought smiles and moments of suspense. I especially love how Keim weaves in humor and warmth, making these stories perfect for a lighthearted escape.

Angela Dawe’s narration is simply fantastic. Her voice truly brings the characters to life, and Rhonda’s accent always makes me smile. I’m so glad she’s remained the voice of this series—it wouldn’t feel the same without her!

If you’re a fan of heartfelt, uplifting stories with strong female leads, humor, and happy endings, Nightcaps at the Beach House Hotel is a must-listen. Judith Keim continues to deliver, and I can’t wait for the next installment!

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. I love coming back to this hotel and reading about the adventures that the owners go on. Rhonda Grayson and Ann Sanders own and run the Beach House Hotel. This visit readers are being taken back to root of what made the Beach House Hotel what it is today. They take privacy seriously. Several celebrities are staying at the hotel. Ann and Rhonda are doing what they can to keep their visits private and off the media’s radar.

There are several people trying to stop them from doing what they do best. Particularly their nosey Homeowners Association President, Brock Goodwin. Brock is constantly trying to figure out who is staying at the hotel. He is a constant thorn in Rhonda and Ann’s sides.

I love how Ann and Rhonda are so different but best friends. Their personalities complement each other. Readers will really get to see how each of them handles the situations that arise. I really enjoy reading about this hotel. I will read every book that comes out about this wonderful hotel and its adorable owners. The hotel family is getting bigger and I love that for them.

A visit to The Beach House Hotel is usually very restful for visitors, not always so much for the owners, Ann and Rhonda. They often have to deal with difficult guests, challenging situations, privacy and security, and all of those are front and center in this installment.

As always, Ann and Rhonda are united in their mission to create a safe and welcoming space for their guests. They both have the support of their families, staff and "hotel families", which makes the job a bit easier. They have to navigate politics, a neighborhood busy-body and disruption, all while appearing that all's well to the other guests. Thinking about it, this is likely business as usual for most resorts.

I enjoyed this book as much as I've enjoyed the others in this series, and look forward to the next. Thanks to the author for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.

Rhonda and Ann are working the hotel and helping guests as usual. They have 2 special guests that are staying in the houses. One has been here before and the other (Darryl) is hiding out and trying to get out of a contract for his comedy show. Things get a little tense due to Darryl's ex-wife, and Ann invites them to stay at her house. Her husband, Vaughn, isn't home much and she has the room. I love all the interaction with the guests, good and bad. We got a glimpse of the triplets that her daughter has. they are getting older and so cute. There was drama, romance, new and old friends making good memories and some HEA's. I loved it.

I have been missing Ann and Rhonda and everyone else at the Beach House Hotel. They always welcome new people they meet into their lives.
This one had a lot of them having to face and conquer things that happen. One of the biggest problem people is Brock, he is the president of the neighborhood association and is always trying to find out who is staying at the hotel. One of the biggest things Ann and Rhonda stick to is when guests stay at the Hotel they are sure of the privacy they are looking for.
This book is part of the Beach House Hotel series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but you will enjoy each book in the series.

I love going back to see what’s happening with Ann & Rhonda. Never dull moment at the Beach House Hotel. They always add to their beach house family every time. Darryl needs to hide out for a while. Tina needs to get back into shape. Abbie is the trainer for Tina but becomes Darryl’s trainer as well. Will & Rhonda are going through a rough patch. He’s overwhelmed with his work. Ann is missing Vaughn the more he’s away for work. Brock has got his nose into guest business. These women are strong and persevere with each book. The more nightcaps they have the more love comes to the The Beach House Hotel family.

I enjoyed returning to the Beach House Hotel in Sable, Florida to catch up with the owners, Annie and Rhonda. There was a lot of fun and interesting drama and many fun weddings throughout this new book that kept me turning the pages to find out what might happen next. I was not disappointed!

Brock, the president of the neighborhood council, was certainly up to his nosey, old tricks. I think Annie and Rhonda added some new family friends to their hotel and of course the kids and grandkids are doing well. I will warn you that this book might make you want to eat a warm, cinnamon roll while you curl up and read the book. They sounded so good. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

I love this series. Ann and Rhonda are owners of the Beach House Hotel. This time they are again doing a favor for the vice president. This time it is for Darryl a night time TV personality. They will also have the other guest house for Tina and her trainer Abby as she is getting ready to do another movie. After Tina leaves another guy named Rand will come to stay. There are several weddings and a murder involved in this book as well as a meaningful relationship between Darryl and Abby. Does Rand become involved with one of Darryl's sister and is the drug overdose accidental or murder. THiS IS A GREAT READ.

Nightcaps at The Beach House Hotel is an engaging book about two strong women and their families. I love returning to The Beach House Hotel to catch up with Ann, Rhonda, their families and their hotel family. The bad things that happen are always outweighed by the good ones. I enjoyed meeting Daryl, Abbie, Emily and Rand. Daryl was sent by the vice president which always ratchets up the turmoil. It is just great to see how these amazing, business women meet their challenges. The best line in the book is the last one - “One thing was for certain, there would be many more celebrations at The Beach House Hotel.”

I always enjoy Judith Keim's series at the Beach House Hotel. There's always something intriguing going on and we get to catch up with the characters we've met over the life of the series.
Nightcaps at the Beach House Hotel felt like a lot of the same except for the death that happens. There was Brock being annoying like usual, walks on the beach, sailing, a few guests had to stay at the Hotel owners house to get them away from a problematic guest and Rhonda and her match making. All fun , a quick read and as usual I look forward to the next one.

Thanks to NetGalley and the Publisher for allowing me to read the arc.

I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley.

My favorite series is back with book #9 - Beach House Hotel series.

Darryl Douglas is in need of a hiding spot. He is a nighttime talk show host that is finding his situation becoming unbearable. In need to quiet and seclusion to figure out what is next, he reserves on of the private cottages at the hotel. In the other cottage next door is Tina Marks, back for another visit, needing to get in shape for a movie.

However, when Darryl's ex-wife also wants to stay at the hotel, trouble follows her and creates a difficult situation for Ann and Rhonda.

Reading this series is like visiting old friends - love it!

Annie and Rhonda’s hotel family continues to grow. Tina returns with her trainer, Abby. Darryl arrives for some relaxation and reflection on his series that he feels has become uncomfortable for him. Brock continues to be a thorn in everyone’s sides and may have gotten himself in some hot water with his interaction with a guest. Rhonda continues trying out her matchmaking skills. This is a great series, but to fully comprehend the characters, you really need to start at the beginning for the best experience. Thank you to the author for the ARC; all opinions are my own.

This book continues the saga of Ann, Rhonda, and the Beach House Hotel, bringing back many familiar characters from the previous installments. As in the earlier books, we get a detailed look into Ann’s day-to-day life at the hotel, with a few new antagonistic characters thrown in to complicate things. Rhonda also puts her matchmaking skills to work with a few new pairings. Overall, it’s an easy read, though it can feel a bit redundant at times.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the chance to read an advance copy of this book from the author and leave an honest review, so I am simply going to say that Nightcaps at The Beach House Hotel continues the series true to it's theme of telling a great story, dealing with stubborn, or angry people, like the arrogant Brock, while keeping the guests' privacy sacrosanct. This is the kind of book where you know there will be trouble somewhere but you also know that all will turn out well in the end. I recommend it.

Nightcaps at the Beach House Hotel is another delightful addition to The Beach House Hotel Series which finds Rhonda and Ann meeting the guest privacy requests of Tina, a Hollywood movie star preparing for her next role, and Darryl, a late night talk host. However, problems arise when Darryl's publicity seeking ex-wife books into the hotel. This is another enjoyable addition to this wonderful series with its' strong characters, plot twists, and humor.

Another adventure at the Beach House Hotel, with new people wanting to come for the privacy, but Brock is still there. It does get exciting with trying to stay one step ahead of a problem, putting out the fires when they are only sparks, and surviving all that happens, to be open for more visitors. It is a fast read with all that is going on, because I couldn't stop reading until the end.

This book was a great read. I like the way Ms. Keim reminded us of the past stories in this book. I like that it refreshed our memories of how Rhonda and Ann came together.

The new characters in the book were quite delightful and refreshing. These books are completely wonderful and you just grow to love the new characters and cannot wait to see how the story comes together.

I highly recommend all these books in the series! You will feel a part of the Beach House Hotel family.

It’s always fun to go back to The Beach House Hotel, where there is never a dull moment. These folks are so wonderful, and the hotel family just keeps growing. Hopefully, that means there are many more books to come. You’ll work through many situations with Rhonda and Ann. I just love their friendship. Rhonda cracks me up at times. Love, love, love this series and these folks. I’m ready for the next book. I received an ARC of this book, but my opinion is my own.

I enjoy this series so much. Rhonda and Ann own the Beach House Hotel and there seems to always be some adventure to their guest visits. Brock is the busybody neighborhood president and seems to think he can make decisions on everything without any power. Enter some difficult guests, some unexpected situations, and you have another great Beach House Hotel story. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion. Don't miss out on this fun read!

Another winner!

Ann and Rhonda face new challenges at the Hotel. When their guests’ anonymity is threatened, they may lose the hotel's reputation. Brock, their ever-present nemesis and president of the Homeowners Association is determined to stir up trouble.

What a series! Judith Keim's descriptive writing paints scenes in my imagination. I am already looking forward to the next book. I received an advance copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.

Not the best of the nine

Considering that this is the ninth book in the series, I don’t quite understand why characters who have been in multiple books need to be referred to by their full name. If you are reading this book, you’ve most likely read the previous eight. The formal nature of the writing became, I’m sorry to say, a little tedious. I have enjoyed the previous books but really struggled with this one. Several spelling and continuity errors too, not ideal.

Another wonderful read from this author. Smart, funny, irreverent and so much more. I am a sucker for a story about successful healthy friendships and businesses without subterfuge and backstabbing to get ahead. When the VP asks Ann and Rhoda a favor, they begrudgingly agree there is always some trouble from his asks. They have worked way too hard to grow their business. When they have two guests who require anonymity. Easy peasy right ? Haha, the best laid plans. I really enjoyed reading this book and am looking forward to book 10 in the series. So often as a series goes on I lose interest. Now I keep hoping this one goes on forever. And yes, Ive read almost her entire catalog already! Try them. I promise you wont regret a moment.
