This book is the most memorable and my favorite of the Jiggy McCue series, a gross-out kids book series that was so British it confused my little American mind. For example, a side character is named Eejit Atkins, and references to Punch and Judy abound.

The standout creature in this is the Snottle, a creature made of snot. He is not a monster, but misunderstood. I wanted my own Snottle after reading this. Also good is the girl who made the Snottle by sneezing into huge handkerchiefs, who is an interesting new female character who isn’t Jiggy’s best female friend Angie who appears in all the books and is a bit boring. This book was pretty funny.

This fiction book is about a boy called Jiggy Mccue and his pals who go on an exciting adventure with a girl called Stefanie. It's a race against time to preserve Stefanie's auntie's home in the woods from it being destroyed by nasty property developers chopping it down.

A girl called Stefanie arrives in Jiggy Mccue's class. All the boys nicknamed Stefanie "snonker" because she always explodes with nose juice in the classroom. Stef came to the boring school because her auntie died so she had to come to live in the dusty village.

What Stef did not know was that her aunt had left behind snotty snottles eggs in her little old house. Once the snottles had hatched they started there liking of snot. The funny thing is when you're around a snottle you suddenly start sneezing snot (nose juice). In the snot there will be a moving picture prediction of what will happen in a minutes time.

Stef's Aunt's house was in the middle of an extremely ancient wood. The basement of the house was full with snottle eggs. Mean property developers desired to chop down the historical wood and the house included in order to build loads of pricy apartments.

Jiggy, his pals and Stef although they didn't save the snottles they always think about the day that they had their noses licked by snottles.

It was cunning the way the author wrote the book, it made me feel I was with Jiggy that very moment. At night it kept me up late thinking about what I would have done in his shoes.

Very Funny So Far. Not that into Jiggy McCue stories to be honest. BUT! This one is MY TYPE of book. I'm nearly 11 now and I probably should find this book GROSS. But GROSS books are REALLY up me street!!! I've read other Jiggy McCue books in the past and those weren't that interesting. The Snottle, I highly recommend, that ALL gross kids and mabe some adults should read this highly humiliating book.
