René Goscinny (1926 - 1977) was a French author, editor and humorist, who is best known for the comic book Asterix , which he created with illustrator Albert Uderzo, and for his work on the comic series Lucky Luke with Morris (considered the series' golden age).

Romans, funny, resistance, teamwork, strength, environmentalism, friendship, courage, asterix prequel

GOOD POINTS
My 4YO really enjoyed it (it is more kid focused: not brutal, animal centered, short easy stories)

BAD POINTS
Not so captivating stories
The romans are really "just stupid"
The group doesn't work so well, in my opinion

NOTES
As an adult I wouldn't care so much. It was cute seeing the asterix characters appearing in another setting though.

FOR WHO
Children that enjoy the Asterix environment and appreciate simpler stories
