Igniting the Spark

Sparks hasn’t gone by her real name in eight years. To do so would be dangerous, drawing attention from those who want to exploit her powers - the ability to control electricity. Her anonymity is her prized possession in the war against those that killed her mother. At least, that’s what Jack, her abusive boyfriend, has always said.

But when Jack starts leading her into an increasingly dangerous set of heists, Sparks begins to question his motives. And when a local vigilante begins to meddle with Jack’s burgeoning criminal empire, Sparks must navigate the line between doing what’s right and doing what she must to survive.

When Sparks realizes that the vigilante is actually her neighborhood barista and confidante, Sparks has to sustain her web of lies while protecting the people she cares about most. As her two worlds collide, Sparks is faced with the intersection of their friendship and her secret life.

Sparks is caught between an impossible choice. Does she stay loyal to all she’s ever known - and to the abusive man clinging to control - or risk it all for her chance to build a different life with the local barista? Sparks must decide who she can trust with her secrets, and if she even has the strength to leave her past behind.

Grab a cup of coffee and hold on! The spice begins around page 5 and the flavors only intensify! This is a first-if-its-kind read for me and I can't wait for the sequel. Action, intrigue, romance, and an intense story that pulls you right into its pages. Be ready.

Loved the energy between the fmcs. Their natural chemistry was believable, and the way they developed was so adorable.

My favorite part was probably the henchmen. Those guys are adorable and I loved how they interacted sparks!
