Elise Summers has spent her life avoiding three hockey rinks, hockey parents, including her own, and hockey players.
But when she moves back home in her senior year of university, she realizes avoidance may not be on the table. Especially considering her new school, Arden University, is known for one thing…hockey.
However, Elise is determined to keep her distance and dodge anyone who spends time on the ice. That is, until she meets Alex Davis and Luke McPherson. Both star players for the school, and not at all what she expected.
But will they convince her to give them a chance? Or will they just prove to her that you can take the player out of the game, but you can’t take the games out of the players?
This was a very fun read!! But I am always a sucker for why choose romance 😍 If you are looking for a good hockey romance that had a bit of family drama. This is a great book to read
originally had it as 1 star but bumped it up bc alex is so sweet. this was just so bad i laughed throughout. not sure what the plot was. idk anything about our characters. i didnt even realize the fmc’s name until later in the book bc i just didnt care. im sorry, did i read the same book as everyone else in these reviews?!
Ooof. So bad. If it had not been so short, and I wasn't trying to get a good start on my reading goal I would not have made it through. It was aaaaall over the place. It's a zero star.
This was a Stuff Your Kindle day deal, and while it's not a whole lot to write home about, it's definitely not as bad as the reviews make it seem.
It's a bit superficial, no real overarching plot and focused more on the idea of how would a threesome potentially come together. There's some Deus ex machina to show the Elise's family rallying together despite no signs to preclude this happy reconciliation, all of which makes the story pretty good for anyone looking for self insert book.
But on the whole? It's fine. Insecure plus size heroine discovers and falls in love with two guys. Nothing to blow your mind, but certainly OK for a quiet afternoon or for reaching your reading goals.
Elise avoids hockey players like the plague, but agrees to give Alex a chance. They meet at a party and have an instant connection. She's already falling for him before she realizes he plays hockey. But Alex isn't the only one interested in her. His roommate Luke wants Elise too.

Two on One was simultaneously sweet and hot. So very, very hot. I absolutely adored Alex. He was just the cutest.
Absolutely loved this book! I am not usually a non-fantasy reader but I was so hooked from the second I started this! I absolutely fell in love with Luke and Alex and Elise was such a relatable FMC! For being an incredibly spicy read this was also such a cozy book, perfect for curling up with some cocoa on a cold day! I already can't wait to reread!!
I really enjoyed this book. I laughed quite a bit. I loved Alex and Luke! Elise was ok. I liked how they didn't just jump into bed and got to know know each other and communicated so they were all on the same page. It was a quick and easy read and can be a cleanser in between heavy books.
"Communication is important" an acquaintance in a polyamorous relationship tells Elise, so another couple of hundred pages of poor communication and half-arsed declarations follow.
Even though the book was about polygamy, I love the relationship between Elise, Alex and Luke because they care about each other so much. That kind of love is so rare❤️
