It isn’t only werewolves that thrive in moonlight.

Jason Bosco thought life was difficult enough hiding that he was a werewolf. Being outed officially, but with the benefit of a monster friend to vouch for him for a visa, doesn’t change that everyone he knows looks at him differently now. Worse, he can’t be sure if a werewolf is what he is. But if not that, what? And what of the father he never knew, who disappeared one night in the wood behind his home in Elder Ridge?

Back there again to take time off after college to figure out who and what he is and what he wants from life, Jason’s one solace is that Ricky came with him. His… boyfriend? They’ve barely kissed. Still on the Monster Match app under a human profile, Jason now uses it to talk with his monster friends for advice, like Cael, the eldritch with a voice that can knock a person unconscious and a stare that might drive them insane. But if Cael found love and a place to belong, maybe Jason can too, and move forward with his quest to discover himself and to be with Ricky like he always wanted.

Ricky Ruas has always had a soft spot for monsters. He designed his physics major toward becoming a cosmologist, so he can study the portals and the differences between the human and monster realms. The more people understand, the more they can accept the strange and frightening. Like Ricky is trying to accept discovering that his best friend is a monster who has been in love with him for years.

It's still new, but when an opportunity presents itself to intern with some of the best monster realm scientists in Jason’s hometown, Ricky jumps at the chance to stay by his friend’s—boyfriend’s?—side so they can see where this relationship goes. No one ever said dating a monster didn’t come with complications, however, and sometimes with mysteries as intriguing as the monster realm itself.

An MM standalone novel in the shared world of the multi-author Monster Match series, season 2. Expect a jock/nerd friends-to-lovers story between a confused monster still learning what he is, and a supportive cinnamon roll boyfriend determined to learn the truth at any cost, with primal play, protective MCs, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

💭 My Thoughts:

🍃 This book had everything I wanted from a monster romance... an intriguing world-building, a fresh twist on shapeshifters, and a beautifully tender relationship at its core.
🍃 Jason’s struggle with his identity was raw and compelling, while Ricky’s unwavering support made me melt. Their slow shift from best friends to something more was filled with soft moments, nerdy banter, and just the right amount of spice.

🍃 The mystery surrounding Jason’s true nature and his father’s disappearance added depth to the story, while the research facility and scientist side characters brought humor and insight.

🍃 The side characters were perfectly well done. The found family theme was a great touch, and the Monster Match universe continues to deliver unique and engaging stories.

🔥 Favorite Highlights:
✔ Protective monster boyfriend who thinks he's unlovable but is so, so loved.
✔ Cinnamon roll nerd who is secretly fierce when it comes to defending Jason.
✔ Sweet, funny, and sometimes spicy moments as they navigate their new relationship.
✔ So beautiful how they secretly left notes for each other, offering support and encouragement throughout the day.
✔ Intriguing monster lore and a small-town setting with a mix of acceptance and fear.

▪︎FAV QUOTES▪︎

Jason:
■ “Read the note first,” Ricky said, folding his hand over mine.
I looked at it in my other hand. “I’m guessing: YOU WILL DO BETTER? Meaning me, not you. Like, you put—”
Ricky covered my mouth to stop my rambling. “Just read it.”
I opened the note and written twenty-five times was:
I LOVE YOU
I snapped my eyes to his.
He had put his phone away too and slid both arms around my neck. “One of the best parts about dating a friend is that we are way past the ‘getting to know you’ portion of a relationship. So I already know I love you, Jason. Human. Monster. It doesn't matter to me. You are always still you.”
Tears sprang to my eyes pretty much immediately, that jerk. “Geez,” I sniffled. “Could you be any lamer?”
Ricky shoved me against the sink with a smack to my chest. Then he tightened his arms around my neck. I didn’t want to let the note go, so I crushed it against his back as I held him. Kissing Ricky… kissing Ricky would never get old.

💯 If you love MM paranormal romance with deep emotions, a touch of angst, and some playful monster vibes, this book is for you!

😉 Thanks for reading hope this helps you out!

This was a crazy ride!
Jason is moving home to his small town with his best friend and new boyfriend Ricky. They’re a perfect match: Ricky is a scientist and Jason is a monster. The only difference between Jason and most monsters? He has no idea what kind of monster he is. He originally thinks he’s a werewolf, but soon finds out that a wolf isn’t the only thing he can change into. Jason doesn’t want to go through the rigorous testing it would take to figure it out, but Ricky tries to encourage him. There’s also something strange going on in the woods behind their home: people are disappearing at an alarming rate, and no one knows where they end up.
Add in the people in their town who don’t trust the monsters and are starting to protest, and these two have a lot on their plates (but not too much that they don’t have time to get to know each other intimately 😝).
Though Jason can be a bit obnoxious with the outside world, he’s very sweet with Ricky and those he cares about. Ricky is super cute and really brilliant. There’s a budding romance, a mystery to solve, and bigots to fight.
Also…Amanda can you please promise me that Kai is good and happy and living a wonderful life? Because I love him and he deserves it!!!

We are back to the monster match universe with Shaped to Be Yours. Jason & Ricky have been best friends since the start of college when Jason first started having feelings for Ricky. One night, when he is attacked in the woods, everything in his life is changed forever. With the acceptance of his new life, Jason & Ricky learn to navigate it together to find their new normal. Amanda does a wonderful job in showing us their triumphs and struggles as well as visiting old friends from season one, along with introducing us to new friends whom we all need to know more from. It is a great way to kick off season two of this combined universe.

Reseña — Shaped to Be Yours de Amanda Meuwissen

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ / 5

✨ Romance precioso
✨ Comunicación REAL
✨ Personajes secundarios icónicos
✨ Un worldbuilding hermoso
✨ Escenitas tiernas y algunas picantes
✨ Momentos chistosos que te dejan llorando de la risa
✨ Sanación familiar
✨ Mucho corazón

5/5 porque no le cambiaría nada. Lo disfruté de principio a fin.

I was so excited to see that Amanda was going to write a story for Ricky and Jason. I knew after His Slender Embrace that I wanted to know their story. I anticipated a lot of what their story would be, but I should have known Amanda would work in plenty of twists and surprises! I also loved all the cameos from last season's books.

The story starts with Ricky and Jason as an established couple. At the end of His Slender Embrace, we are led to believe that Jason is a werewolf. He is struggling with the idea of suddenly becoming a monster, which he has hidden from everyone for a year. In Shaped to Be Yours, we learn that there is so much more to Jason and his monster side.

Ricky is a scientist and he wants to help Jason figure out exactly what he is, but Jason understandably is scared and doesn't want to be a guinea pig. I felt that this fear was totally justified because who can really trust the government? Humans are traditionally afraid of what they don't understand and to that point, no one in the government had treated Jason very well at all.

The plot of the book focuses mostly on Jason's journey toward discovering who he is and the romance is a bit secondary and overall low angst. Ricky and Jason care deeply for each other and any disagreement they have is quickly overcome. For the most part, the strength of their relationship was their ability to communicate. I did feel like I would have enjoyed a little more relationship angst and more could have been done with Jason's fear of losing control and hurting Ricky. I also thought more could have been made of Ricky's minor betrayal in wanting Jason to submit to testing and hoping to covertly convince him to agree, and being asked to spy on him by the government agent.

Jason had a pretty low self-image and there was quite a bit of focus still on his past behavior. Jason was trying really hard to be a better person, and I felt like he deserved a little more slack and understanding than he was getting. Jason really had very little freedom in the story and was reasonably frustrated. That frustration manifested in occasional rude words. Since he wouldn't submit to testing, he was under constant and invasive surveillance. He was under an immense amount of stress and fear, and I felt like the people around him could have had more empathy for his situation rather expecting or pushing him to just fall in line. He could definitely be rude, but Jason was a really good guy overall.

Ricky really loved Jason a lot and was 100% accepting of his monster side, patient, and determined to help Jason navigate discovering who he was. However, he was a bit too wrapped up in the excitement of the science of it all. I would have liked to see more understanding of why Jason was so frustrated and scared. While Ricky knew where he was coming from, he didn't really support Jason's choices and was a bit dismissive. Ricky was so certain nothing bad would happen if Jason went through testing, but he couldn't know that for sure. The government had already threatened to exile him to the monster realm (where he'd never been before). What if they decided he was too dangerous to live among humans and exiled him anyway?

The way things work out in this story is very happy for everyone. Everything is wrapped up and all questions are answered. Everyone gets their HEA. The epilogue was really cute and I cannot wait to learn more about some of the new side characters introduced.

Oh, boy. Where do I start with this one? The plot holes got to me, but even more so, was how convient everything was! We have Jason who is trying to learn who and what he is. Yet, every obstacle he faces gets easily resolved. We have multiple riots and protests, which get brushed aside. Bullies who don't really get punished, and a climax that literally

A lot of the angst in this book felt very political, and maybe it's because of what the world is facing today in real life, this felt a little tiresome and unnecessary.

One of the biggest things that annoyed me was that

This story could have been better if they took out all the unnecessary monsterphobia and riots, and cut the book by 20%. It felt so long.

I read and loved all the books in season 1, especially those that featured cameos, but this story felt separate from those books. I was hoping to read a sweet monster romance between a monster and human who met on the Monster Match app.

I'm giving this book 3 stars rather than a lower rating, because it's obvious the author did spend time plotting this book, despite the plot holes.

When I learned that the Monster Match series was getting a season two I was beyond excited! I was even more excited when I started to read this and realized that Jason who made a small appearance in His Slender Embrace from season one was getting his own story with a happy ending.

Jason has come along way from his first appearance in the Monster Match series. Jason is returning to his hometown after graduation with his former best-friend now boyfriend by is side and a mystery surrounding the origins of the monster that attacked him the year before causing he himself to become a monster despite it being well known that humans can not be turned into monsters. Ricky is never thought he would end up in a relationship with his outspoken bestie, but he is not going to let the opportunity pass him up, he does his best to shut his scientist brain off in order to make sure Jason understand he cares for him more that the mystery of what he is.

The relationship between Jason and Ricky is so adorable and wholesome. Ricky is kind, understanding, and is accepting of Jason no matter what form he takes. It is clear thorough the entire book how much Jason cares for Ricky, and his determination to control the beast within him to keep him safe speaks volumes of his character. Ricky and Jason are wonderful together has have defiantly made their way to my list of favorite bookish couples.

Outside the romantic aspect of this books. I really enjoyed the the discussion of inclusion and the toxicity of there being prejudice and divide within a community and how it is harmful everyone involved. This aspect of the book stood out more than every given our current political environment and I enjoyed how well it mixed into the book seamlessly.

10/10 would recommend!

Ricky and Jason's book had it all -- an adorable romance, a suspenseful mystery, and a cast of lovable characters who had to fight for equal rights in their small town. I was thrilled when I found out that there was going to be a season two of Monster Match, and I really enjoyed the direction Amanda Meuwissen went with these characters. Ricky and Jason were so cute together, college-aged best friends who'd only recently decided to take the leap into a romantic relationship. I loved getting to explore the newness of their romance, and when paired with the suspenseful elements of the story I couldn't tear myself away! A big focus of the plot was Jason's monster origins, and the more that was revealed about his unique powers the more curious I was about how they tied back to the disappearance of his father and unstable portal in the woods. It was really sweet to see how supportive Ricky and Jason's mom were every time Jason discovered something new about himself -- I can't imagine how scary it must have been to have haunting dreams and a body that changed shape in ways that no one understood. Thankfully there was a satisfying explanation for everything going on in town, and my excitement to get some answers was only partially dampened by the nasty protests that sprung up in town. All the separate plot threads suddenly began converging into a big climactic moment, and what an adventure it turned out to be for Ricky and Jason. I couldn't be happier with the way things worked out for all the monsters in Elder Ridge, and I'm crossing my fingers that Kai will get his turn at an epic romance next!

This is the first book in the multi-author Monster Match Season 2 series. Each book is a standalone read. This is the story of Jason and Ricky. Jason has finished college and returned back home to his mother's house. He is no longer hiding that he was attacked and has transformed into a werewolf. He is now recognized as a monster. The only problem is, he isn't really a werewolf. As he gets bitten by other creatures, he turns into them as well. Of course the government and scientists want to study Jason. If they don't know what he is, they don't know how dangerous he is to the population at large. Ricky is Jason's best friend and boyfriend. He loves Jason no matter what his abilities or shape. Ricky is also a scientist. He has moved with Jason to study the portals and the differences between the human and monster realms. He thinks that if humans understood monsters better, there would be less fear and anger towards them. And as his boyfriend is now a monster, even more reason to ensure that this happens. This is their story. The book is well written and easy to read. I found it a fun romance. I especially enjoyed Jason's handler. Jason and Ricky make a wonderful couple. There are surprises throughout the book. I hope to learn more about what happens to Kai in the future. I really enjoyed this book. I look forward to the rest of this series.

I received a complementary advanced review of this book from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Jason & Ricky
Started off a bit slow for me, but that may be because I need a refresher for the Monster Match universe.
The MCs seemed very hesitant to be with one another while also seeming to want to be together. It was a little challenging to follow the intended arc of their relationship in the beginning. Once more of the plot was revealed, the book took off and I enjoyed following the journey that Jason & Ricky took to fall in love. As the story took shape, I was pulled in and couldn't put it down until I was done!

The (good) side characters in this were a ton of hilarious fun. The scientists that Ricky is working with add a great element of humor and depth to the story. They help shape the mystery surrounding James' identification. They also added additional elements of found family, which is always a welcome trope to read.

Somewhat reminiscent (to me) of the sci-fi/fantasy series Animorphs (by K.A. Applegate) with the humans able to morph/transform into any animal they touch. Poor Jason had to be bitten (or so we're told), but the idea is similar.

I really enjoyed diving into the Monster Match universe with Shaped to Be Yours. Each Amanda Meuwissen book I've read has that special element of something that is engaging and entertaining. Her supernatural/paranormal stories are so unique and exciting. To date I've only read a couple, but I know each one I pick up will be another adventure. I loved Shaped to Be Yours for its originality and energy. It was easy to feed off what the MCs were feeling, even if it was occasionally stressful. The ending surprise with the characters is one I will remember for a while.

I received an advance copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.

I bought the PB before I even read the book and I'm not in the least bit disappointed. This is a really good story that flowed well and fit perfectly with the Monster Match season one books. Great world and character building. Chemistry galore between all of the characters. Jason and Ricky are a sweet, lovable couple that are hot when their relationship gets intimate. Jason was hiding a pretty good secret because he thought Ricky and his mother wouldn't accept him if they knew. When Jason and Ricky graduate college they move to the town Jason grew up in. It recently became a tester town for monsters. Jason has to be monitored and is working with his mom. Ricky has taken an assistance job with the research center in town. Jason has been refusing something everyone wants but he shortly agrees when things are changing. Between missing people, protestors causing problems and a friend being hurt; Jason and Ricky have to make changes. Now they're sucked into the unknown and Jason gets an even bigger surprise. After a big storm which Jason and Ricky help save people things take a big turn for the better. Life starts looking up for a lot of people.

I was sucked into this story from page one. It was really good and interesting. Loved seeing some of the characters from season one. The world these authors have created was intriguing. Looking forward to the rest of season two and more books from this author.

Shaped to Be Yours is about monsters and humans pairing up. First as friends and then as lovers. It brings back Jason and Ricky from Season 1’s His Slender Embrace.

Ricky and Jason have both graduated and now are trying to go to Jason’s hometown of Elder Ridge. Only Jason isn’t human, he is a reluctant monster. He was attacked in the woods and changed, but hid the change until meeting Cael. Cael helped him to be honest with himself, Ricky, and the authorities.

Ricky already has a paid internship at the new facility where research happened and monsters lived and took naturalization classes. It is also where Jason would be studied to find out what kind of monster he actually is if he agreed to help. While he wants to know more about himself, he’s not about to be a scientists pin cushion.

An absolute breakout story for season two of Monster Match!! I love that we got to see Jason and Ricky’s happily ever after. It is fun to see Cael, Miles, and friends from Edgewind. Amanda kept me glued to my seat for the entirety of this book. I am so looking forward to what comes next. Is it too early to ask for season three? We got to meet new monsters in this book, so maybe we’ll see if they get together? Yes, I’m talking about Agent Whitmore and Kai!

Dang, another unique monster story. That cover!!

Jason doesn’t exactly know what he is. One day he was attacked in the woods behind his house. (The same place his father disappeared when Jason was a baby).
Jason suggests he’s now a werewolf. He won’t let the scientists experiment with him to figure that out.
Soon enough we understand he’s way more than just that.

‘I will not be a dick’

Jason has a best friend, sweet, cute, and kind Ricky, who’s also his boyfriend. They have to improvise how to be together without hurting Ricky.
Ricky is fascinated with monsters also in a professional way. He’s not afraid of what Jason might be.
The scientists also approached Ricky to convince Jason the take the tests.

“The longer Jason waits, the more dangerous it could be for him and others.”

Together with Ricky, he goes back to his mom.
You won’t believe what happens in the woods behind their house, it surpasses your imagination!

What a unique monster story this was. I enjoyed it immensely. A lot is going on, I won’t spoil of course! Believe me when I say in short:
The plot was so original, the scenery and the magical world were awesome, and the characters were amazingly crafted!

Shaped to Be Yours by Amanda Meuwissen is part of the Monster Match season 2. I actually have not read the previous season or any of the other books in this series, but I think I will go back and read them now that I’ve read this one. I am intrigued by the idea of a Monster dating app. Jason and Ricky have been friends forever. They recently started dating after realizing that they have feelings for each other. However, Jason also has recently become a ‘monster’ and must navigate his newfound status. The only thing he is sure of are his feelings for Ricky. I did really enjoy these two together and I am fascinated by Kai. I really want to read his story. I do think I was hindered a little bit by jumping into season 2. I felt like I was trying to comprehend a story that was already ongoing and I had to catch up. Once I was into the story though, I really wanted to see where it went. Jason and Ricky were a good fit. They supported each other and wanted the best for each other in whatever they were doing.

I received an ARC from the author for my honest review

Shaped to Be Yours is an angsty monster/human story. The angst takes many different directions. Monster and human integration is only beginning, so there is a lot of fear and prejudice to be overcome. Jason and Riley's romantic relationship is new and they have a lot of growing pains. And there's a strong theme of loss of a parent because Jason's father disappeared when he was just a toddler.

Jason has only recently learned he's not a werewolf but something else. While everyone around him wants him to undergo testing to help them discover what species he is, and what abilities he has, he is still struggling with the idea that he isn't human at all.

This is a slowly developing plot with many different string to follow. But Riley and Jason are set on protecting and supporting each other which does add a little sweetness to the mix.

I liked reading about Jason and Ricky. I love how we get to see past characters from previous books. In the story, you’re gonna get a mystery romance. Mystery is what is Jason really is. Ricky is sweet, smart, and a loving person. I like how he’s always there, for Jason, and except all of him when Jason cannot. And how he trust Jason with everything it’s just amazing to me. How he wants to help and work with monsters. Jason Is always true to himself. What I like about him the most is how he wants to help, and that he loves nature so much. He’s always there for his mother and Ricky. I like how Jason stands up for what he believes in, and he will speak the truth, no matter what. For the two together, they have an amazing connection. They are loyal to each other and you could just see how much they love one another. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

ARC

This one was really cute. The whole plot focuses mainly on Jason’s character, around his becoming a monster and his self discovery and acceptance.
Jason and Ricky really are the cutest couple, best friends to lovers to the maaaaxxx!

We’re back with season two of the Monster Match series and we get to meet so many amazing characters again, we discover new ones and we new Jason, who is probably one of the coolest Monsters yet!

There’s A LOT of feelings going around in this book. We go through a whole journey, both with Jason’s own one and with the whole storyline. The whole unstable portal thing was REALLY COOL. So stay tuned cause this books has a stunning stunning story.

Could have been a bit more fast paced? Yes, mostly in the first 50%, but after that it’s a race to the finish line that I really enjoyed!

Great addition to the series!

I loved Shaped to be Yours by Amanda Meuwissen. It's part of the multi-author series Monster Match season two. I loved Ricky and Jason's story. I was slightly lost at the beginning of the story, and I have a feeling that Jason and Ricky were introduced in His Slender Embrace, even though it was about another monster couple, Cael and Miles, who happened to be friends of Jason's. Once I figured everything out, I fell in love with Ricky and Jason and trying to figure out what kind of monster Jason was. The author did a great job of describing each of his transformations. It made it easy to picture what he looked like. Update: They were in His Slender Embrace and I do recommend reading it first before reading this book.

I read this book using the Kindle unlimited app.

Shaped to be Yours is Amanda Meuwissen's contribution to the multiauthor Monster Match series: Season 2. It's a continuation of last years story, and Cael and Miles are a part of this year's offering. Jason, who was bit by a maybe werewolf, is a bit more self aware. Or rather, he's somewhat of a jerk, but he owns it. His best friend and crush interest, Ricky, helps him get adjusted to this new life, as the two explore exactly what type of monster Jason is. The two are sweet together, sometimes spicy. There are some challenges along the way, but Ricky is a rock. It's a hard won HEA.
There's a touch of monsterphobia in the story. But it's mostly a fun, lite offering. And a terrific way to kick off Season 2.
I received an advanced copy of this story and this is my review.

This is part of a multi-author series, but easily works as a standalone read too (that said, if the monster match vibe works for you here, it’s not a bad idea to check out other books under this umbrella, and readers of this author’s book for season one of this shared world series will see familiar faces in this one). This book offers a friends to lovers romance for Ricky (human) and Jason (not so much), and there’s a good blend of sweetness, spice, and some plot twists/surprises to keep things interesting along the way as their relationship evolves. Ricky is stalwart, Jason can be a jerk (but he owns it, so it mostly works) and they’re a truly easy pairing to root for, all things considered. 4.5 stars.

More monsters and more matches

This book is a follow up to Amanda Meuwissen’s book in the first season of Monster Match and has Ricky and Jason realizing that they are more than friends. I really enjoyed how Jason keeps changing and no one knows why and Ms Meuweissen took full advantage of this to make the story interesting. I was unsure of some things in this book and Jason was not a very nice character in the previous book and I had a hard time getting into this book, but I found it definitely worth reading. This author often slips things in about acceptance of differences and other issues that face our society, but she does it so smoothly that it always fits into her stories well. I often finish her books and an amazed at how much she gets in there. Great read

Shaped to Be Yours is part of the multi author Monster Match season two series. Each book can be read as a standalone but why not enjoy the rest of the series. This is the story of Jason who might be a werewolf but doesn't really know and Ricky a human. I read all of the first season of Monster Match and I'm so happy to see it back for a new season. This was a great story with lots of unexpected turns. It was great to see the friendship turn to love. I liked seeing Jason and Ricky's friends help them. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book as a 5 star read.

Shaped to be Yours - Monster Match

“I don’t care which version of you I’m kissing, Jason, because they are all you. Impatient, short-tempered, no filter you.”
“If you can believe that… then I guess I'm shaped to be yours.”

When Jason unwittingly becomes a monster, he finds solace in his best friend Ricky, who knows deep down inside that Jason that is more than he appears.

Shaped to be Yours is Amanda Meuwissen’s contribution to the multi-author Monster Match series, season 2.

This world finds joy in matching monsters with humans, and providing exciting and eye opening MM relationships for readers to enjoy!

I totally enjoyed Jason and Ricky's story that kicked off season 2 of Monster Match. Jason's a bit rough around the edges but he is totally gone for Ricky. These two have been friends for a while and are already a very newly established couple at the beginning of the story. I don't want to give too much away but Jason is really struggling with some life changes. Ricky is very supportive and loves many of the changes Jason's going through. This is a very cute story about the two of them building their life in Jason's home town which also a tester monster town with a mystery in their backyard. I loved the side characters and I do hope that Kai gets his happy ending as well!

I loved Jason and Ricky. Jason fell in love with Ricky since freshman year. Jason was human until one night he was was standing in the back yard in the woods when some kind of monster attacked him. Jason didn't want to be a monster lab tab for the rest of his life. He was on parole for monsters to see if doesn't hurt himself or anyone. Jason dad disappeared when he was little and never to be seen again until the portal opened up and his dad came through. Ricky trys to convince Jason that he should give it a try. Ricky and his friends help Jason through his fear and problems with the testing

Jason and Ricky were cute together. Their story had secrets, mystery, and a couple of surprises revealed as events unravel.
I liked how they evolved from friends to lovers, how they supported each other, and their moments together.
I liked how the other side was described, its complexity, beauty, and danger that could cause.
I liked the reunion, the spark of new love, and how certain situations could change people for the better.
It was an interesting adventure, and I’m curious about what comes next.

I enjoyed Ricky and Jason’s story. I read the related books last year with the first season of Monster Match, but it took me a hot second to realize this was the same character who was such a jerk there for a bit. It just goes to show that everyone has their secrets and problems. Jason is getting his second chance and hopefully might find out just what kind of monster he is. Ricky loves him just as he is, whether he knows his species or not. I won’t give any spoilers but I LOVED the inclusion of what he actually is!

Thank you for the arc, I voluntarily give it an honest review.  Great job with season 2, I loved this one as much as Cael and Miles. Picking up on the Jason, the young college guy that was a total mystery to himself that Cael helped.

Jason was heading to his hometown of Elder Ridge with Ricky.  What once was thought to be true of the werewolf that bite home now seems to lead to a whole deeper connection. With multiple changes over taking Jason, Ricky with his steadying presence gives him courage that both need to to face the mayhem that has awakened.
