One Hellish Love: Alpha Billionaire Angst Romance

Rate this book
When two broken hearts collide, desire becomes an obsession, and nothing—not even the scars of the past—can keep them apart.

Rudra Raheja, a billionaire haunted by his dark past had kept his emotions locked away—until Kashish Bedi stormed back into his life. Bound by a tragic history, Rudra never expected to fall in love with the woman whose life he had shattered by his recklessness. But this time he’s determined to make her his, no matter the cost.

Kashish Bedi had hated Rudra for years, blaming him for her father’s tragic death. She swore she’d never forgive him. But fate had a cruel way of drawing enemies together. Despite the bitterness and hatred for him, a darker and more dangerous spark flared up, drawing her toward the man she swore to hate forever.

Even as Kashish fought against the pull, Rudra was relentless. He knew he didn’t deserve her, but his desire became an obsession. She’s his salvation, his undoing, and he wouldn’t let her walk away, even as their past threatened to destroy any future they could have together.

With his powerful family standing in the way and Kashish’s own resistance testing his limits, Rudra was willing to fight every battle, cross every line, and face every demon to keep her in his life. Because for Rudra, Kashish was not just a woman—she was his destiny. And he would destroy anything, even himself, to keep her forever.

‘ONE HELLISH LOVE’ is an intense, standalone enemies-to-lovers romance, packed with obsession, healing and the desperate lengths one man will go to claim the only woman who can save him from himself. Perfect for readers who love dark, powerful heroes and fierce heroines caught in a tempest of love and hate.

What a refreshing come back!!

As someone who has been reading Madhuri’s books for years now, I can confidently say—how every story of hers carries a distinct flavor and a writing pattern. By saying this I don’t want to compare any of her books… of course every plot has its own pace and own requirements and similarly every readers has his/her own choice when it comes to narrative. I as a reader love this kind of narration style more because despite being predictable it hooks the readers with its freshness and simplicity.

In a world where cocky and morally grey heroes seem to be everyone’s favorite, my heart still beats for the gentleman—and Rudra is exactly that. I liked him for his patience and commitment. The quiet strength of his character is something which will compel you to get immersed into the story.

They say, ‘Every heart carries its own scars, its own hopes, and its own way of holding on- Love isn’t a feeling you can borrow, it’s a unique experience for each soul.

For Rudra, love was not a choice but his reason to survive and for Kashish, a dilemma… a predicament. Two hearts navigating different skies, only to collide when fate allows.

The plot may not be layered with complexities or dramatic twists—but that’s where its beauty lies. Rudra’s honesty is its heartbeat, and his emotional depth leaves a lasting impression. Madhuri has done full justice to the plot from every aspect.

The story echoes that beautiful line: “You know it’s love when all you want is for them to be happy—even if you’re not part of their happiness.”
This essence flows through the book, especially in Rudra’s journey. The blurb already hints at a shared past, so what keeps you turning the pages isn’t ‘what happens’—it’s how Kashish finds her way back. And trust me, Rudra’s patience deserves a standing ovation.

I mean, Kashish may come across as stubborn and frustrating initially, but as the layers peel back, you begin to see her too—with all her fears, flaws, and eventual growth.

There aren’t too many twists or edge-of-the-seat moments—but you won’t mind. Because deep down, you know one thing: Rudra is not the kind to give up.

After Aryan from No Wedding Bells—my absolute favorite—Rudra is the hero who truly stole my heart.
Simple story. No over-the-top drama. But it still holds you tight and doesn’t let go.

Overall I loved reading this story.

Madhuri, I truly enjoyed this refreshing tone. Not every reader needs fiery banter or bold punchlines- You’re Mine types or sassy FMCs.
Sometimes, all it takes is one tender gesture, one soft line, one respectful man to tug the heartstrings. Because before love, what every woman truly wants—is respect. And in Rudra, you gave us just that.

A 5-star read, without a doubt.

One Hellish Love by Madhuri Tamse is an intense and emotionally gripping romance that explores the thin line between love and hate. The story begins with a tragedy that binds Rudra Raheja and Kashish Bedi—one a teenage boy who made a devastating mistake, and the other a daughter grieving her father. Years later, their paths cross again, forcing them to confront old wounds, buried emotions, and unexpected attraction.

What stood out the most was the emotional complexity of the characters. Rudra and Kashish are flawed, raw, and incredibly well-written. Their journey from resentment to reluctant companionship to something deeper is full of tension, longing, and layered emotions. The backdrop of family expectations, moral conflict, and personal trauma adds depth to what could have been a simple love story.

The book blends multiple romance tropes such as enemies to lovers, forced proximity, and second chances, while also offering a touch of dark romance and rich family drama. The chemistry between the leads is intense and compelling, but it’s the emotional healing and self-discovery that truly drives the story.

Madhuri Tamse’s writing is engaging and vivid, with a pace that keeps you hooked from beginning to end. She handles heavy themes like guilt, loss, and forgiveness with sensitivity, making the story resonate on a deeper level.

Recommended for readers who enjoy emotional romance with complex characters, a gripping plot, and themes of healing and redemption.

This was a really long and really good book in the middle with the beginning and the end are a turn-off. The MMC is extremely possessive, so only read it if you are in the Kabir Singh headspace.
