Can I say I’m happy? I think I am. I never knew what real happiness was before. If this is happy, then I’m all in, just like everything in my godforsaken life, all or nothing baby.
The screams of Lily’s work fill my ears, echoing in the garage over the sound of the truck, and I smile broadly, shouting down the steps to her.

OMFG! What a dark, bloody and violently twisted story this was! And it was so freaking amazing!
Right from the start I got swept up into the dark, perverse and brutal world of Hedeon Zverev. He pulled me in, kept me captivated and wouldn’t let me go in the end.
Hedeon is a powerful, dangerous, and ruthless man. His past will break your heart but how he chooses to live and deal with his demons will probably make you gag a bit!

Lilly is a bit of an enigma. She seems very innocent and naive, always putting herself in bad situations, but underneath that is a woman looking for something more! When she gets herself into a troubling situation, she has no idea that her rescuer is about to rip her from her life and twist her mind and body into something she may never recover from.
The banter between Lilly and Hedeon was filled with such intense emotions that they just poured off the pages and the sexual tension between them was incredibly HOT! And let me just tell you, the smut contained within the pages of this story was insanely spicy, kinky and very twisted! My kind of smuttiness!! It lit my body on fire and left me a sopping mess!
This was definitely a sinfully delicious, pitch-black, and utterly violent journey that kept me on the edge of my seat and gasping at everything that happens. I loved the writing, the characters and the amazing storyline and I can’t wait for more.

Hedeon is NOT a good man, he has very particular taste when it comes to his play things. He’s a 30 year old ceo and billionaire who likes to attend a club for those with particular interests like him, he lives out his fantasies with these women and occasionally take them home to continue the fun in his basement where they are never seen again. One night while attending the club, a red head in one of the rooms catches his eye, as he’s watching her with another man he starts to feel things towards her that he’s never felt before, she’s different then what he’s used to.
Lily, just like her name, is a beautiful woman who catches the attention of Hedeon, now that she’s in his sights, nothing and no one will stand between him.
This is a true morally black book, hard topics, kidnapping, Stockholm syndrome, dark topics and discussions, but H is super sweet to lily, as much as you can to a person you kidnapped and want to ravish in the most depraved ways.
Definitely loved this book but again it is DARK romance so proceed with caution!!

Linda is officially on my radar because Run? What the actual heck. Hedeon Zverev is a complete monster (so we love him, obviously!). Ruthless, sadistic, and exactly the kind of bastard you can’t help but be obsessed with. He’s not morally grey; he’s pitch black. And he rides a motor bike, because, of course he does. And Lily? Sweet, dangerous, and far deadlier than she looks.
This isn’t a redemption arc. Hedeon isn’t a secretly good guy underneath all the murdery murder - he’s just as bad as he seems. But when he sets his sights on Lily, everything changes. She’s not just another victim; she’s a challenge. The banter is sharp, the chemistry is filthy, and the tension is suffocating in the best way possible (I'd let H suffocate me .. just sayin).
And the spice? Ooof. Kinky, twisted, and so unapologetically dark it’s almost too much. I said ALMOST.
If you’re into dark, gritty romance with zero fluff and a whole lot of effed up, this one’s for you. I see you Linda ...

Okay this book was so flipping good! H had my heart as soon as I saw how sweet he was to his best girl Magnolia. Any man who is so wonderful to his dogs can't be all bad. Yes, he does some messed up stuff. Some of them had it coming though right? H takes touch her and die to a whole new level and I love it. The mouth on this man is hot! I felt for him when reliving his trauma, I rooted for him when he got his lady and I absolutely loved the way this ended!

Hedeon. ooomph what a sexy name.
I gave this one 4 stars only because I have so many unanswered questions to no fault of the author.
This is a story told from only Hedeons POV which I love. but I would have loved to understand more of why lily gave herself into him so easily? why is Lily the way she ends up?
There was so much sexual anguish in this read which finally getting a male POV of sex from start to finish is ace.
Personally I devoured the first half of the book but became a little less interested for the second. I still finished it. I still loved it.
Hedeon's back story is so intense and full on, I feel had that info been left til near the end it would have made the story that much better keeping the audience trying to find out his why.
anyways enough ranting. thanks for a great read, now to hit the next book: Burn

Absolutely loved this story line.
The internal struggles Hedeon was having were so dark and torturous. To see him pulled from them by his new obsession was so good.
Hedeon (H) believes his life wasn’t worth much due to his Fathers actions. Heartbreaking actually to read what he endured at his father’s hands.
Linda Eggert has done extremely well to describe the world of the destroyer, to see the destroyer’s life be turned upside down by Lily.
He never thought he’d fall for her like he did.
Lily never knew she needed someone like H in her life. They’re a force to be reckoned.

Wow.
If you want a stalkerish, possiveness, serial killer book, this is the book for you.
I loved that this book was only in the MMC pov through out and that it turns out Lily is as dark and Possessive as H is, and H is most definitely the most Possessive.
A match made in heaven for each other!!
Please make sure to check your trigger warnings for this book, as there is a lot things that may trigger some people.
I'm glad I read this book, but now I'm gonna be very wary of packs of dogs!

Definitely pitch black so full of triggers so stay clear if you have any whatsoever. If not then dive right in. Writing style was good and story line kept me interested from start to finish. The characters were great as well and although I would prefer a bit more resistance from the MFC who seemed to cave a bit easily. However by the end I understood why Lilly made the decisions they did, messed up as she is. Definitely more side plots that could be expanded on in future books too.

This book is so psychological I love it!! The way the MMC battles what’s in his mind vs in real life makes you wonder. This book is dark but isn’t that what we all want in life? To escape the real world and enter a realm where you can be free to do as you will…….Well this book does that!

This book is immorally black. Did I devour it? Yes! 🖤 I bumped it down a star because, yet again, I was nitpicking some of the discrepancies I found littered amongst the pages. But that is a me problem.

This has some dark points for sure however I love a good dark romance!
I enjoyed the storyline here and how it keeps your heart pumping the whole time. Lilly is the character that you question.. like why so quick to bend. However the story coming around in the end telling points that make it all make sense is cool.
Our MMC is ruthless and our FMC is just as ruthless. Together they are epic. But will she go along with him or not?
