Це однозначна та новела, яку хотілося б прочитати в Різдвяний день. Завершуємо цю серію тим, з чого вона почалася. З найкращих розуміючих батьків, які виховали чотирьох чудових синів, на кожному кроці допомагали їм з невістками і обожнювали онуків (цілих дев'ять! боже мій 😂), і одночасно з цим змогли зберігати то справжнє єдине кохання.

Меггі, нуу, можна було і побільше про них написати 😅 я ображена 😂❤️❤️

Мені подобалась історія знайомства Клер і Сайласа ще в основних книгах, а тут отримала деталі. Вони дуже милі і змогли створити прекрасну родину з синами, невістками та онуками

This was pure perfection 🥹 I freaking love cute parent origin stories! This was a super quick 45min read that was everything I needed. I would recommend you having read the Griffith brothers series before reading this! (Or just Dust Storm- I’ve only read that one so far and it still loved this)

Ugh I want a full book of Silas and “Chicago”.
The city girl who refused to fall in love with a cowboy until she had no choice!

This is so nostalgic. Even without having read the The Griffith Brothers I loved this!

Silas was one swooney man, the things he did and said to Claire were perfection!

“I don’t care about the nos, Chicago. All it takes is one yes. I’ll wait ’til then.”

“You make it sound like we’re going to have a lot more Christmases.” ….
“Picture it, Claire. You and me. A hundred Christmases.”

My heart jumped with giddy joy when this landed on my kindle. I slurp at every morsel from Dust Storm Griffith Brothers ranch. When a thread in Dust Storm was left loose for a follow up, I was yearning for Silas, the patriarch and the love of his life Claire Dawson's story.

“It takes a strong cowboy to put up with a bull, and a strong woman to put up with a cowboy.”

The Women of Ranch life are no shrinking violets. They work from sunup till sundown, holding the family together, tending to Ranch work and help build legacies. And Claire checks all boxes. Her sass and intelligence had Silas making excuses to take trips to Texas Department Of Agriculture just to pester her into dating him. She had a No-Dating -Cowboy firmly locked down, till his charm and wit woos her defenses down.
Perfect dessert after Griffith Brothers series smorgasbord, bringing it all together.

My Griffith brothers and cowboy loving heart 🥹😭🤍 THIS WAS SO CUTE. I know that I should have probably waited to read this at Christmas time but I adore this family way too much and just couldn’t wait! Claire and Silas have the most heartwarming love story and somehow I adore them both even more now, which I didn’t even think was possible. The way Maggie switched between the past and present was perfect and that last chapter..my absolute favorite 🥹 Also I have to shoutout Gloria here-loved her so much. Absolutely adored everything about this 🤍

This was such a sweet Christmas Novella.

I haven’t read any of the books in this series but have planned to. After reading this I plan on reading them a lot sooner.
This novella tells the story of Silas and Claire before any of the Griffith’s stories.

Silas and Claire’s story is sweet. She is stubborn and fiercely trying to be independent. While he is just in love with her and is patient waiting for her to realize she is for him.

Ah! Loved it!

Would I recommend? Yep!
Would I re-read? Yep! 🎄

Silas and Claire are the ultimate couple.

They’ve been in love for 58 years and have about a billion grandchildren.
And yet their love for each other is still the same as it was when they were in their 20’s.

Silas always knew what he wanted, and he wanted Claire.
It took Claire a while to realise she wanted to be with him but he slowly wore her down.

I loved getting this little snippet into the past and how they got together.

I love them. This novella, is the love story of the parents of the Griffiths brothers and I’m in awe.
Normally we don’t get the parents love story and quite frankly most the time the parents aren’t worth mentioning. But these two are game changers.
Silas and Claire are what dreams are made of. They are the fairytale couple that we all want to grow up to become.
Bravo Maggie, this is brilliant.

I was fully sobbing at the love and beauty of this family, getting a glimpse into how it all started with Silas and Claire truly had my heart bursting with joy. The glimpses from the past books combined with the POV from the matriarch and patriarch of the Griffith family made it all the more special. If you want a bow wrapped around the perfection that is this series than look no further and enjoy this short story that leaves your heart happy and spirits bright.

The way I ran to download this when I saw it! If you know me, you’ll know the Griffith Brothers series is one of my all time favourites so to get this peek into Silas + Claire was such a treat!

The Griffith family is so special and this book was a super sweet little read. May have even had a little teary moment. Love that Maggie gave us this.
