Playboy heir to an empire, Kit Kensington has it all: money, status, looks, power. As Kensington Consolidated’s newest employee (and future CEO), Kit arrives ready to exceed the high expectations that accompany his last name. However, when his new assistant turns out to be Collins Tate, he finds himself off-balance for the first time in his life.

With one glaring exception, Collins Tate has spent six years carefully avoiding the immature billionaire who seems to be universally adored by everyone else. Following an ill-advised bet, which resulted in a night with him, Collins is determined to return to being the one woman who finds Kit resistible. Except she really needs a fresh start and a new job.

Surprisingly, working with Kit isn’t awful. Shockingly, they make a good team. For the first time in years, Collins starts to feel like she made the right decision.

Until their agreement to pretend that night never happened becomes impossible.

Kit Kensington might be a decent boss. But he’s the last person Collins would have picked as the father of her child.

Too bad … it’s too late.

”A charity case? I’ve spent years begging for a shred of Collins’s attention. I’m the one who’s always felt inferior and desperate. I wanted one thing from her—her—and Collins wanted nothing from me.”

her best friend’s brother. the one she’s spent years pretending to barely tolerate—cold glares, quick retorts, keeping him at arm’s length. But he’s never bought it, not for a second. not when he’s been quietly obsessed with her for years, and especially not now that she’s working as his assistant.

what follows is the kind of slow burn I live for: sharp banter that masks longing, tension thick enough to cut through, and a chemistry that only grows with every stolen glance and almost-touch. he flirts like he breathes—effortlessly—and she fights it with everything she has… until she can’t.

he’s charming, relentless in the best way, and turns out to be so much softer than expected. honestly? he’s climbed his way to the top of my book boyfriend list without even trying.

and returning to the Kensingtons family? It felt like stepping back into a familiar, chaotic kind of love. I didn’t realize how much I missed them until they were back on the page.

many thanks to the author and Valentine PR for providing an eARC in exchange of an honest review

“I’ve been in love with you ever since I saw you, Collins Tate... Maybe it started as a crush, but it was never a game to me. I was a goner from the start.”
This is definitely a book that’s only going to appeal to a certain type of person. Basically, if you are a new mother, broody and aspiring to be a mother, or have gone through a pregnancy, this is going to be right up your alley. But if children still freak you the fuck out and being pregnant is your worst nightmare, this book is not going to be it for you.

𝙎𝙮𝙣𝙤𝙥𝙨𝙞𝙨:
This follows Collins Tate, who quite frankly has the worst name in the history of names for FMCs. Collins sounds like a surname, Tate sounds like a surname, and they both sound like boy names. Anyway, she’s Lili’s freshman roommate at university, and on moving day, she meets Lili’s younger brother, Christopher "Kit" Kensington. He instantly develops the biggest schoolboy crush on Collins... meanwhile, she has absolutely no time for him. But since she's Lili's roommate, she and Kit end up interacting often. And these two just don’t get along. They constantly bicker, banter, and disagree about everything. But that doesn’t dissuade Kit as he’s still completely obsessed with her. One day at a party, Collins gets into a little accident with an Aperol Spritz and needs to clean up her dress, so Kit graciously offers his hotel room. He joins her there, and "one thing leads to another". They have an amazing night together, and a couple of weeks later, she finds out she’s missed her period. On top of that, she’s been looking for a job, and Lili has kindly asked Kit to help. So now, while working as Kit’s new assistant, Collins also finds out that this billionaire is her baby daddy… and he couldn't be happier!

𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨:
Collins is an interesting character in the sense that she’s pretty independent and wants to make it on her own. She doesn’t want anything handed to her, as that is the easy way out, and she is definitely against Kit's money and power being used to help. The pregnancy comes as a shock, but she’s committed to making the best of it. She’s the type of person who takes a bad situation and handles it head-on, with practicality and pragmatism.

Kit is this dichotomy of what the world thinks he is versus who he really is. The world often perceives him as a playboy rich boy who had everything handed to him on a silver platter with a silver spoon in his mouth. But he’s not actually that, and he’s determined to prove that he is hardworking and dedicated. He’s just started working at Kensington Consolidation, and he is being groomed to take over as the next CEO when his uncle steps down. He wants to prove that while nepotism may have helped him through the door, he is there on merit and will not make a joke out of the opportunity. He is so hardworking, so dedicated, and it was just sweet to see how, when he found out about the baby, he became the biggest green flag of what you hope to see in a man when there’s a surprise pregnancy.

The relationship between the two of them was a little hit and miss for me. Some elements were ridiculously cute and sweet, and I think this book contains one of the best moments of a male character standing up for the FMC that had me almost blinking back tears. But there was also an element where I didn’t fully feel the chemistry between the two. Kit is very much in love with Collins right from the beginning, and she almost felt like she fell in love with him simply because he was there by proximity, not necessarily from a deep connection between them. While we do get a few scenes of them together, most of it is them just working together or navigating the milestones of the pregnancy. We don’t see as much relationship development. It’s more something we’re told happens, rather than shown, and I would have preferred to see more of that development because it felt a little lacking.

I did like that Kit is her biggest cheerleader. He pushes her to step out of her comfort zone, embrace aspects of her life that she might have struggled with, and is just generally supportive, caring, and considerate. Ultimately, he just wants the best for her, no matter what.

A lot of this book revolves around the element of pregnancy, and if that’s what you’re looking for, this is going to deliver on all fronts. It was perfect, magical, and sweet watching these two grow a baby and a future together. But if you're not in the mood to read about pregnancy and baby development, you’re probably not going to like this.

I also really enjoyed that Kit referred to the baby each week by the size of fruit it had grown to. It was so cute how they kept changing the name based on that.

Overall, it was a sweet read. I’ve realised I don’t necessarily dislike accidental pregnancy stories... IF it’s the whole point of the plot and not used later as a device to "fix some miscommunication or breakup". In this case, it was genuinely sweet, and I liked seeing this side of the story. I also liked seeing some of the previous characters that are part of the Kensington world.

Basically, if you want a story about babies and baby daddies being gooey green flags, highly recommend!!!

I was absolutely hooked on to this book from the very beginning. Kit and Collins’s dynamic is electric in all the best ways, full of sharp banter, simmering tension, and an emotional pull that sneaks up on you. I loved how it balanced the delicious chaos of a surprise pregnancy with genuinely heartfelt moments of growth, forgiveness, and vulnerability. Kit is layered and unexpectedly tender, and Collins is fierce, clever, and deeply relatable. Watching them try so hard to resist what is clearly inevitable was as frustrating as it was addictive. I could not stop reading, grinning, and feeling way too much. It made my heart ache and flutter all at once.

"I'm right beside her. Exactly where I always want to be."

SO so good. I absolutely love a surprise pregnancy trope, and when it's done well? *chefs kiss*. I really just couldn't put this one down.

We have Kit Kensington, son of Scarlet and Crew from Fake Empire and younger brother of Lili from False God, the first book in this series. He's been a bit of a play-boy prince but now that he's graduated school he's ready to settle down and get serious and start working at Kensington Consolidated as the future CEO. I liked the more realistic approach we had to Kit's job. Usually with this CEO/billionaire type character, we see them flawlessly work 60 hour weeks and balance dating and working out. Here, Kit is constantly tired. He's perpetually trying to catch up on emails. But he also ends up loving his job and surprising himself. He also knows that he was handed this job because his family owns the company, and is working so hard to prove to everyone that he takes it seriously.

Then we have Collins Tate, who was the university roommate of Lili. At the beginning of the book, she sees Kit as her friends younger brother. In her mind, he's still that 18 year old she first met, who parties too much and doesn't take anything seriously. She's recently moved to NYC and asks her friend for a job, which is how she ends up as Kit's assistant.

These two were ADORABLE together. As a couple, I thought they were good. They got along well and had good banter and some solid chemistry. I wish we got to see them interact a little more outside of the pregnancy? Most of their interactions revolved around the baby. But still, great together. I think they really listened to each other, their hopes and wishes for the future and their concerns as parents-to-be.

I will say, Kit stole the show here. He was such fun character with that teasing and sarcastic side of his. Plus he was immediately 110% on board with the baby, and SO down bad for Collins. I really loved it

This second generation series has been great so far, and I cannot wait for Wren's book next! I’m pretty sure CWF said all of the second-gen characters will be getting books, so hopefully we get to see Bash and Rory soon as well!

Oh, I just love reading about rich people's problems. Throw in the best friends brother trope AND a surprise pregnancy? And I am fully SAT.

There's something about C.W.'s writing that always feels different from most contemporary romances. Sure, it's tropes I've read before, but I always feel this ease in C.W.'s writing that I don't get from many other authors. I loved Fake Empire so much when I first read it, so when this next-gen series was announced, I was jumping for joy. I loved Lili's book and was so excited to see her brother's story. I wasn't expecting too much since we really didn't get a deep dive into Kit when he was first introduced, but all I've got to say is, WHAT A MAN.

Not only has this man been pining and crushing and obsessing over Collin's for YEARS, the night they first hook up results in a pregnancy and not only did he step up and support her in any decision she made but he also never pressured her into a relationship, DESPITE his strong feelings and wishes to be in one. I think that's what I enjoy about C.W.'s books, the realistic way the characters handle situations. That's not to say that Kit and Collins didn't walk around the topic of their feelings for WAY too long for my liking, but I understood the reservations and hesitation for Collins in diving into a relationship with Kit.

The way this man stood up for her and his child in every aspect was just so delicious to read. I loved the slow burn (hated at some points lol) and the build-up of trust and friendship between the two. I also really liked the breath of fresh air I took when reading about how they were handling the pregnancy without dating first. It gave a great insight as to the type of parents they would both be given the fact that, technically, they were single and allowed to date other people. I just adore the way Kit sees Collins and the praise he gives her and the support he hands her. It's what she deserves and what makes him that much more attractive.

IF YOU LOVE ROSE AND CONNOR FROM THE CALLOWAY SISTER SERIES.... you will love the first and second generation of this series. I hope C.W. has plans for all the side characters. And if I'm not mistaken...I saw a little sneak peek thrown in there for a potential couple?? ;)
All in all, I loved this book and this series a ton. Thank you to C.W. for the ARC copy and to Valentine PR!

It was pretty good. However, it was book 2 in a series for the Kensington family and not a single other person in that family appears to be in love??? So I’m genuinely confused on who book 1 is about? A distant cousin? I have no idea.

Anyway it was an accidental pregnancy from a 1 night stand with her college roommates younger (18months) brother. He had been obsessed with her for years and she never really acknowledged him other than to disagree with him at events. I just feel like the whole plot line with her father was pointless and weird?

Otherwise none of the side characters stood out enough that you’d really want to come back for book 3.

I love love a good one-night stand that leads to pregnancy—especially when it involves a billionaire MMC who has no problem spoiling his woman. And this book delivered all of that and more!

Kit fell first and fell hard for Collins. His love for her was clear from the start, and I adored watching it all unfold. One of my favorite moments was seeing how Kit stepped up when he found out about the pregnancy—protective, supportive, and all-in.

The spice was a nice balance—somewhere between closed and open door—just enough to keep things steamy without overshadowing the emotional depth.

Not even being biased, but this is hands down my favorite book in the series so far.
A solid 4-star read, and I definitely recommend it!

Oh where to begin. Kit and Collins story was so good I could not put it down. I should preface this is a second generation story. Read about kits parent, it’s also SO DANG GOOD. However, you don’t need to read their book to understand the dynamics here. I love how Kit has been pining for Collins for a bit to say the least, AND he’s a billionaire, and she didn’t just drop everything for him. She made him work. He fell hard and he fell first. What started with a one night stand turned into such a great roller coaster. I adored this whole book and honestly think it’s my new favorite of the family books. CW did it again. Hats off and a round of applause, another undeniably great addicting book to add to my shelf.

#Review: *Anti-Hero* - CW Farnsworth - ARC [18+]
5/5✨
3/5🌶️

I fell in love with the 1st book from this "Kensingtons: The Next Generation" series ("False God") and I really, really needed to read this 2nd one. I craved it since I finished reading that 1st book and, after a long wait, I was finally able to read it.😍 And all that thanks to Valentine Pr and the author, who accepted me for this e-ARC!

Well, this story is about a boy obsessed, who finally had a chance with the girl he liked. But that one-night stand they've shared will not be without consequences. But let's go to the beginning🤭. Christopher "Kit" Kensington had a huge crush for his big sister's best friend, Collins Tate, but she has never shown him any interest. Everytime they were in each other's presence they were teasing each other as much as they could.

After a hard break up, being jobless and after a couple of drinks, Collins just left her guard down for one night and fell into Kit's arms. They haven't seen each other after that night, until Collins will have the chance to work at Kit's firm, where her best friend, Lilly, put some strings to get her to be Kit's assistant. But everything would become more complicated when those two lines will appear on the pregnancy tests Collins's has taken, which will turn her world upsidedown, especially because she was now working for the father of the baby.😅

I can even say how much I liked this book! Kit's personality was the best, always making me smile and laugh so hard with his sarcastic self.😂 He was truly affected by all Collins meant and became the best man for her in those difficult moments. How could she resist his charming personality? Honestly, she didn't have any chance!🤭 Even though Collins was pretty much against a relationship with Kit, the more time she spent with him, the more she started to feel something growing inside her heart.

If you're a fan of sarcasm and wanna read something which will make you laugh and also make you feel emotional, then this book is the perfect choice! I just looove the way Charlotte writes this type of stories, building the best character ever!

“𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕’𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝑰’𝒗𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒔. 𝑨 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆…”

C.W. Farnsworth hit it out of the park with this one. By far one of my favorite reads of hers. If you enjoy reading about a couple that finds their way to each other while navigating the complexities of an unexpected pregnancy, then this book is absolutely for you. Get ready to fall on love wig the sweetest and sexiest man ever. If you have baby fever, this one is definitely going to make your ovaries scream. Just saying.

Kit…the man that you are. If you read the previous book in the series then you know that Kit is the younger brother of Lili. At first glance, you would think…cocky little rich boy. But Kit is way more than that. He’s hard working and kind…and is doing everything he can to make a name for himself by earning it. But one thing that is an absolute certainty for Kit? He’s always had a huge crush on his big sisters best friend, Collins.

Collins…our head strong, take no garbage from anyone especially a man, FMC. I love her. When she first meets Kit she is unimpressed and unbothered. Slight blow to Kits ego…but they end up in each others orbit quite often because of Lili. One night and a few too many aperol spritz later…Collins is in Kits hotel room and he’s not quite looking like the annoying younger brother of her best friend anymore. Even though the night was hot, fun…Collins isn’t interested in a relationship and they part with no contact. That is until Lili helps pull some strings to get Collins a much needed job as Kits assistant.

Collins is nothing if not professional…she’s ready to fall into her job with no mention of their night of passion…only there is one problem…that pesky period hasn’t shown up. And when that pregnancy test reads “pregnant” Collins realises she’s not only having a billionaires baby…but her boss’. Whoopsie! 🤭

Was Kit shocked ? Yes. But what was even better was how happy he was. All he’s ever wanted was ONE SHOT with Collins. Now…he had it. But Collins wasn’t ready to give in so easy. Kit may have been all in, head over heels in love with her, but she was definitely more of a slow burner. She wasn’t in the same spot with her feelings like Kit was…and he understood that.

I loved watching Kit care for Collins during her pregnancy. He was everything you would want from a partner. You could feel his love for her and their baby radiating off the page. Collins eventually let her guard down and allowed him in. Allowed him to be there for her instead of pushing him away and trying to do it all on her own. It was beautiful watching her feelings for him grow and watch how she grew to love him.

Do I think that Collins and Kit would have been together had it not been for the baby ? No. BUT…not because they weren’t right for each other or there weren’t feelings there. But because Collins’ guard was up so high that she never would have allowed him to get that close to her. She wouldn’t allow herself to be vulnerable. The baby was what they needed. What SHE needed. She needed this to realise that it’s ok to depend on people. To let people in and love you. And that’s exactly what Kit did. 🩷

Thank you so much to C.W. Farnsworth and Valentine PR for the opportunity to ARC read yet another book in this incredible series 🩷

Anti-Hero is everything I wanted in a one night stand to more, surprise pregnancy romance! Kit has a crush on Collins, his sister’s best friend, for years. He was the annoying younger brother until he wasn’t. Collins just came off of a break, and moved to NYC for a fresh start when she and Kit hook up one night. She ends up getting a job for Kit’s family company as an executive assistant for Kit. Collins is very practical when she tells him that they are going to be parents. She also didn’t think he would want to be a father, but boy was she wrong! Kit was all in once he was able to wrap his head around being a father. He took care of Collins, and defended her (he’s a billionaire and she isn’t) when necessary. They had chemistry from the start, and their banter was perfect! I love how both grew from attraction to love. The family subplots helped built the characters, helping them grow towards where they ended up. The romance was very swoony with the right amount of spice. I just had a lot of fun listening to the audiobook! Stephen Dexter and Vanessa Edwin did a phenomenal job narrating.

Absolutely loved this one! Kit and Collins had the best chemistry and I could not put this one down because of it! Their banter was amazing (always love some good banter!) and the slow burn? I was dyingggg to see when they would reconnect 🤭💖

I loved getting to see Kit step up for Collins and their little papaya LOL. But honestly, I think this accidental pregnancy was written fantastically and I loved seeing these two work and grow together! Overall, an amazing billionaire romance with the best tension and I cannot wait to read more!

Kit and Collins are so fun and sweet. Their banter is just right for the storyline. Kit has been yearning for his older sister's friend since they first met. Collins has a bit of a chip after a cheating ex and isn't interested in Kit's playboy ways beyond a one night stand.

I enjoy an accidental pregnancy story, so this was a great read for me. Kit is all in with Collins and their baby. He just has to prove it to her and get her to let him in. I love the way he stands up for her and how sweet he is underneath his bad boy persona.

This is a perfectly written billionaire romance. I'm looking forward to what I hope will be Bash's story next in this series.

Note: This review is for an ARC and is my unbiased opinion.

A huge THANK YOU!!! to C.W. Farnsworth for continuing to give us romantic masterpieces centered around the Kensington family. Each and every book feels like a gift. I absolutely adored Kit and Collins's romance.

Kit Kensington has been crushing on his older sister's best friend since he met Collins Tate at their dorm room move in date years ago. Collins never took him seriously, but he was always serious about his attraction to her. They loved to banter and bicker whenever they saw each other, but that is where things always ended. One-night years later changes that and continues to change after Collins becomes Kit's assistant at work.

Kit and Collins were fun from the start. Their banter was quick added to their chemistry. Every interaction between them was entertaining or swoon worthy. I loved how emotionally connected they became as they got to know each other even better. I loved the big and little things Kit did to show Collins just how real his feelings were for her. Collins reactions and what she shared with Kit added to the strength of their growing relationship. I also loved that while there was drama at times, nothing ever felt too big to overcome. This romance was a nice, fluid ride.

Besides the relationship with each other, I liked seeing their relationships with their families and friends. There was the perfect amount of involvement from all of them. I especially enjoyed seeing the dynamic between Kit and Crew. It felt like a full circle moment within the family history seeing them go through things together.

I really hope we will another book in this world soon. I wasn't ready to leave all of these characters yet. The Kensingtons are just too much fun.

I love this universe so much!! Every book feels like unlocking a new Gossip Girl episode. One of the primary tropes of this book is my least favorite (hence the lower rating) and some of the dialogue/romance development felt rushed and cringe-y. But something about C.W. Farnsworth's writing keeps me locked in! Silver Elite sent me into the worst reading slump and this pulled me out (thank god!!).

Read: 11 June 2025 - I just knew Scarlett and Crew’s son was going to slam me into a reading slump, I adore Kit and Collins!! Happy release day!!

♾️♾️

10/10, no notes need!! We all know by how I’m a huge, huge fan of Charlotte’s books, because I’m always talking about them at any given chance, but hello, you see this book, and series, it is a masterpiece!! 🥹

These might just be my favourite edits I have done to date; can you tell I'm obsessed, because I'M SO OBSESSED!! Listen, I knew Kit Kensington was going to steal my heart, just like his dad did; I absolutely adored Kit and Collins, because what do you mean he's had a crush on her for years, is so down bad and obsessed for her, I loved it!

This is up there with my favourite accidental pregnancy books. While that was a major focus of the plot, there was also this quiet yearning between the characters— especially Kit, who’s had the biggest crush on Collins. The way he not only stood up for her and their baby, but also how they both navigated the reality of becoming parents, was unreal. Charlotte has woven a wonderful slow-burn tension and mutual pining that I loved, interspersed with the witty banter her characters are known for.

This series is such an absolute joy to read, and I’m loving getting to know more of the Kensington world and seeing familiar faces again!

Thank you, thank you, endlessly to Valentine PR and Charlotte for the arc, I’m so, so excited for what’s to come from the rest of this series! 🤭

I wish I could re read this book for the first time, I know I would fall in love all over again. Kit just stole the number one spot from his father and I have no regrets. The pinning (THE PINNING), the softness, the understanding, did I mention the pinning??? I could go on and on for days about me not ever wanting to put this book down and never wanting it to end. IT WAS SO FREAKING GOOD.

Kit has pined for Collins since the first day he met her as a teenager moving his sister into her first dorm. And now he goes to these stuck up parties and these boring engagements just to catch a glimpse of her or may be get the chance to talk (really argue) to her. He never dreamed he would actually get a chance to be with her or for her give him the time of day, but he’s not going to waste time asking questions. After their night together, and her slipping out before the morning, Kit didn’t think he’d have a chance to even talk about what why they would actually be so good together. So, when his sister asks him to hire Collins as his assistant and she actually accepts, he knows workplace relationships, especially when you’re the boss, are inherently frowned upon. So, only being colleagues is what’s currently on the table, too bad Kit always seems to be putting his foot in his mouth when he’s around Collins. She’s determined to never talk about their night together and Kit is determined to abide by her rules. Well, that was before she told him she was pregnant with his kid and is going to keep it. So, now making sure mom and baby are comfortable is a top priority, and knowing Collins she’s not going to make it easy for Kit to stick around, but Collins needs to understand Kit is all in and always has been.

Collins is very aware Kit has grown up since the first time she saw him and even in the last few months since his graduation, however she never planned to crumble under the undoubtable chemistry they always seem to have around each other. But after a long night of trying to find a job and failing, she wanted to just have some fun in the form of Kit. Determined to never talk about that night again Collins leaves before the sun comes up. However, in desperate need of a job, she finds herself saying yes to being Kit’s assistant. Collins also finds herself pregnant with Kit’s child. From the moment she found out she didn’t want anything from Kit. Not his money, not his name, not even help. If he wanted to never be involved, she’d walk away. However, Kit surprises her and steps up. Showing up to all doctor’s appointments, moving her into his house, and fitting right in to her family dynamic. Collins knows Kit never wanted this, especially so young with the world at his fingers, but Kit can’t seem to focus on anything else but her and the baby. So, just may be she should trust in the universe to give her exactly what she needs even when she never thought she’d be in this predicament with her best friend’s younger brother.

Absolutely no notes. This books was perfection. Charlotte just knocked it so out of the park, I don’t know where to go from here besides obsess over Kit and Collins in the coming days (or forever). What a fantastic addition to the already great universe of the Kensington’s!!

I absolutely loved Fake Empire and Real Regrets, so diving into this second-generation series has been such a fun experience. I’d never read a second-gen romance before, but this has been the perfect introduction and Anti-Hero completely delivered.

This book follows Kit Kensington, son of Scarlett and Crew, and younger brother to Lili (whose story is told in the first book of the series). Kit is used to getting what he wants; his family is one of the wealthiest in North America, and the Kensington name carries serious weight. But the one person who’s never been impressed? Collins, his sister’s old college roommate, who’s always seen him as just the younger brother with too much charm.

But Kit isn’t just all privilege and charm. Underneath the surface, he’s driven, deeply loyal, and wants to make a name for himself on his own terms. Collins, newly moved to New York and reeling from a breakup, doesn’t fit naturally into the glamorous world of the Kensingtons, but she’s determined to land a job, even if it means mingling in their social circles. When tension finally boils over, one impulsive night between them changes everything.

This one hit all the tropes I love but hadn’t read in a while: slow burn, office romance, and accidental pregnancy, and Farnsworth handles them so well. The chemistry between Kit and Collins was electric. The longing, the emotional build-up, the way they challenge and support each other-it made this impossible to put down. Kit in particular is such a standout character. He’s charming but grounded, someone who would truly do anything for the person he loves. And Collins is fiercely independent but learns to accept support without losing herself.

Also loved the sneak peek at Cruel Summer, the next in the series following Wren, one of Oliver’s daughters from Real Regrets. This is easily one of my favourite ongoing series right now and I’m already counting down to the next book!

Read if you like:
* Slow burn
* Office romance
* Accidental pregnancy
* Second-gen romance
* Billionaire romance
* Pining and emotional tension
