For some reason this book was listed twice so I'm posting my review here also.
This story is every loving parents nightmare!!!
Again, I do not understand why the ratings for this book isn't higher. If you like FBI files, or you're addicted to watching Nancy Grace, this book is for you.
I think I may really like this author. Her books are good and you can almost feel phantom pangs and sorrows these girls went through as you read. I will admit that I was sickened to learn the age of the poor girl when the Freaking Bastard kidnapped and held captive for four years.
The poor heroine was one of the strongest captives I've read about. Not that she was physically able to help or defend herself from all the cruel abuse she suffered, but she was strong enough mentally to think sober and use her wits and common sense to survive.
What I Love most about this authors writing, is how she subtly throws clues and hints into the story that's going to have a significant roll in revealing the mysteries and aiding in rescuing some of the victims.
P.S. I'm off to the third book and I'm getting them through KU. Books like this one makes spending my $10 a month for my KU subscription well worth it. Bam!

Sad, boring
Thought it would more of her story not the roommate's. Wasn't written graphically. Felt story was lacking depth. Needed more details to flesh out the horrors she was going through.

Great read...
If this wasn't a true crime, it read like one. And although I enjoyed the way the story was told, it was indeed a very disturbing story. Definitely not for the feint of heart...

I loved this book!
I could not put this book down until I finished it. I think anyone one who likes books with suspense will love it. The author made me feel strongly for the victims in the story.
