~Shane~ Meaningless hookups lost their luster months ago. Color me surprised when I feel the tug of desire while planning my best friend's engagement party. With his little sister. Sammy has always been a royal pain in my ass. But spending time alone with her is becoming dangerous. I can't help breathing in her strawberry and vanilla scent. And when I see her out talking to other guys, a wave of possessiveness I didn't know I had comes over me. As much as she denies it, I know she wants true love in her life. The problem is, I always thought true love was a myth. So why am I so desperate to prove myself wrong?
Charming Casanova is a steamy romancefeaturing a party girl heroine who falls for her big brother's best friend. This standalone novella is part of a series, can be read in a quick two hours, and has no cheating and an HEA.
Ethan Darvish and his younger twin sisters, Samira, AKA Sammy, and Layla, grew up with best friends James and his younger sister, Abbi, and their other friend, Shane. The boys were the same age and best friends. The same was true of the girls.
When Mr. and Mrs. Darvish were killed, their three kids all moved back to the family home. Their parents had what everyone considered to be the perfect marriage. Sammy, deciding that she'd never want the pain of a husband dying before her, has sworn to never marry. One-night stands have become the norm for her.
When Shane was nine, his mother left her husband and son. His father just shut down when she left, forcing Shane to basically raise himself. Certain he could never have a marriage like the Darvish's, where they equally loved each other, has also decided to never marry. He's become Mr. Love 'Em and Leave 'Em.
James and Abbi's parents have always opened their hearts and home to the other four children.
Now Ethan and Abbi are engaged, and Shane and Sammy are in charge of their engagement party. Layla has a big work project and isn't free to help. After Sammy booked the venue, it was discovered that the venue double booked, leaving them scrambling to find another place for the party.
Sammy and Shane have always been able to push each other's buttons. It might be a miracle if they survive this party without killing one another. It might be an even bigger miracle if they finally realize the feelings they have for each other.

Tropes: brother's best friend, enemies to lovers, small town romance, forced proximity.
Sammy and Shane are thrust together as they plan her brother's - Ethan's - engagement party. Shane has always seen Sammy as a nuisance, and his one night stands have recently lost their appeal. What he doesn't expect to happen as they plan the party together, is falling for his best friend's younger sister.
Despite her partying nature, he knows that Sammy desires to have a true love, something he doesn't believe in. Being aware of his playboy ways, he knows that he must somehow convince Sammy that he is what she has always believed in and wanted.
Sammy and Shane's banter makes this short book an entertaining read, that has a good amount of spice and ends in a HEA.
You can tell that Sienna has set this friend group up perfectly, so clearly they will work it out somehow, but it’s definitely trickier to imagine with the way these two bicker and tease at the beginning.
There’s a distinct push and pull between Sammi and Shane, with some interesting dynamics and fireworks. Sammy is very strong and set in her ways of controlling men to protect her heart. There were a few moments when I questioned Sammy’s quick tongue to keep Shane at a distance. Not a writing flaw just my internal golden retriever reader that wants everyone to be happy.
Still a spicy quick fun read, so not going to critique it too much, but I felt like it teased the edge of bully for a few sentences and then came back to bickering so just keep that in mind.
As I was reading Charming Casanova by Sienna Mills I loved the banter between Shane and his best friend's younger sister Sammie. Underneath the constant bickering is definitely an intense chemistry. And as they spend more time together planning Ethan and Abbi's engagement party their fighting turns into passion. But Shane doesn't believe in love and Sammy refuses to risk getting her heart broken. Will they take a chance at something real?.

Shane & Sammy: Book 2 of Charming in Blue Ridge: Brother’s best friend/ player-party girl/ not quite enemies to lovers/ small town RomCom novella: Can be read as a standalone, but it’s better if it’s read in order. Quick read. Love the banter between these two. This was an entertaining spicy/sweet RomCom with a great family/friend group & I look forward to reading more from this series and from Sienna Mills.

This is an entertaining short story that grabs your attention from the beginning and holds it to the end with intriguing elements. The characters have steamy chemistry together and overcome barriers. I enjoyed this book.

Shane has had no interest in relationships and just hooking up. His best friend's little sister has always been a pain to him but now that she is all grown up and they are spending time together to plan her brother's engagement party, he is seeing her in a different light. Will she be the one that gets him to finally settle down.
In loved this one. It's so fun. The back and forth banter between the two is so fun. I just loved it. Then the HEA ? So sweet. Pretty quick read. Totally worth it tho.
I enjoyed this book even more than the first in the series. Loved the banter back and forth and how they realized their feelings for each other ran deep. They each had their struggles when it came to love but solved them together. Neither of them seemed unrealistic or too perfect to be true. The sex scenes were steamy but not explicit. It was nice getting cameos of the couple from the first book in this one as well. Though you don't have the read the first book to thoroughly enjoy this one I was glad I did.

This book was so fun to write. When considering who the next couple in my Charming in Blue Ridge series would be, I thought about quiet Layla and the Rake of Blue Ridge, Shane. Opposites attract, so why not them? But as I started brainstorming, it became so clear to me that Shane would only meet his match with Sammy. They've been butting heads, teasing each other, basically their whole lives. Of course it would culminate into a steamy relationship that neither of them wants, but both of them can't live without.
I hope you love reading about Sammy and Shane as much as I loved writing about them!
