Although I received this book as an ARC from the author, this review contains my honest, unfiltered opinions.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for both plot and spice.
Even though I was reading this book while it was 85 degrees outside, Dakota Forest writes so vividly that I felt like I was enjoying brisk winter temps surrounded by fresh snow in Jackson, Wyoming ❄️
The author was able to create characters with such depth that I truly felt invested in their story from the start. Tanner and V’s story starts as a slow burn but once it burns… it BURNS 🥵

✨️This was such a fun wintery read! This was a debut novel, but it truly didn't feel like one. I loved the setting in small town Wyoming. I want to go there! 🫶 I found the characters to be relatable. I personally related Ronnie in many ways! Tanner is such a sweet golden retriever with a dirty mouth 🥵🥵. The chemistry between Tanner and Ronnie was 🔥. Although this book had quite a bit of spice, it didn't take from the plot. I enjoyed this book, and I definitely recommend it to my friends who love the brother's best friend trope. It's one of my favorites, and this was done so well!

✨ARC Review✨
While the story itself was a good concept, I hate to say I wasn't a fan of the execution.
I will always give credit where credit is due and for a debut novel, this came together well. Unfortunately, there were too many things for me to overlook. This is all personal preference and take whatever I say with a grain of salt because what might not work for me can easily work for you!
Instead of going on a tangent and making this a negative thing, I'm just going to breakdown what worked for me and what didn't. This isn't to be mean, it's honestly for me to look back on.
What worked for me:
I loved the setting. I haven't read any type of ski resort setting before and I really enjoyed that. I've never gone skiing either so it was fun to feel like I was just for a second. I also enjoyed the small town vibes.
I liked the flirting and buildup to the romance. I'm a sucker for a brother's best friend romance so that definitely checked a box.
I was kind of rooting more for Collin and Lizzy than Veronica and Tanner for some reason because I just liked their chemistry together.
What didn't work for me:
I was not a fan of the writing style. It felt a little too juvenile and scripted. None of the dialogue felt natural. I didn't like the overuse of their names or the term "bro". Every time someone spoke it was very much like "I think we should go to the bar Tanner." "Yeah, we should Veronica." "You're great sis." It bothered me more than it should have.
I felt like there was too much inner dialogue that took away from the story. It started to feel repetitive.
I also wasn't a fan of the characters honestly. I think maybe because the personalities felt inconsistent? There was confusion, at least on my end, of what was going on with each person. Tanner and Collin are best friends but I didn't get that vibe. They felt like old high school friends who rarely talk expect when they visit; not really besties who are brothers. Veronica left her friend high and dry for half the trip. Were Lizzy and Collin a thing or not? Did I miss something?
This had potential for sure and I'm not saying it was terrible. It had good moments. The spicy gondola ride? Good moment!! Also, round of applause for that cover because it's adorable!
I'm always down to support an indie author and always feel terrible if I didn't totally enjoy the book. Like I said earlier, this might become your favorite book and I would love that for you. But one thing I will never do is lie about my opinions.

This is Dakota’s debut novel, I’m so honored I had the opportunity to ARC read this book. Thank you so much! I absolutely adored this book and the characters, I felt like I was in Wyoming joining them for their ski trip (I wish).
I love the brother’s best friend trope, this was done so well. I loved reading about skiing, it’s something I haven’t read before and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Veronica or Ronni, is on vacation with her twin brother and her best friend. She’s really feeling the corporate burnout, so it’s a much needed break. Tanner lives in Wyoming, he’s her brother’s best friend. Of course Ronni is off limits, but can Tanner keep his feelings to himself?
The chemistry between Tanner and Ronni was amazing, I loved the connection they had. The way these characters were written, you could tell Dakota put her heart into it. From the iced coffee 🍯 🦡 to the gondola ride 🚠😮💨 to the cowboy sandwich 🤠 🥪 I also loved Rex 🐶I’m absolutely hooked and so sad the book is over, I truly hope there’s more to come. I would love to go back to Jackson Hole with the gang, I call dibs on the gondola 😜

I received this book as an ARC from the author but this is my honest, unbiased review:
I love a good snowy cozy romance. Happy ending love stories are just the best! I will admit that the friends-to-lovers trope is not my favorite. It always seems a bit too easy, too convenient, and I want something a little more to sink my teeth into. But for fans of the friends-to-lovers, this is a good one. Added bonus of him being her twin brother’s best friend! I’ve never been skiing or snowboarding, and typically I’d rather look at the snow than be in it, so this was a little bit of a new “genre” for me, but I sure learned a lot about ski terms. The story had a good pace, with a nice buildup to the first romantic reveal, secret rendezvous, some tension, and a happy ending.
Some things that weren’t for me:
I found the writing to be a little juvenile. This being the author’s debut novel, I suppose that’s to be expected. The inner monologues of our FMC & MMC didn’t seem genuine, and the dialogue read like a Hallmark movie. Not entirely believable and a little too “scripted.” I also found the swearing to be distracting. I don’t mind a little but when people in general swear excessively, it’s off-putting for me, personally.
The spice was certainly spicy, but I didn’t feel like the “be a good girl” vibe really matched Tanner. I also couldn’t bring myself to really like Veronica. She came off in the beginning as kind of whiny, with a poor-me attitude. So I wasn’t really rooting for her like I would have wanted to.
A 3-star rating from me in the contemporary rom-com genre is “good but not great.” Not my favorite but I know others will thoroughly enjoy!

this was a cute, cozy and easy read! I live for a brother’s best friend trope!! 👏🏼
Tanner and Ronni certainly had chemistry!!! there was no doubt about that! seeing their friendship blossom into more was so beautiful! they’re so fun together and I found myself giggling and smiling so much while reading this one! 🤭
the spice was also SPICY 🌶️
overall I really enjoyed this one! excited to read fall apart soon!

The connection that Tanner and Ronni have from the offset is so clear and I was thrilled to watch their relationship develop.
It was all round, a brilliant read and you can really feel that Dakota has a personal connection and interest in the subject that she's based Full Send on. It has substance, it feels like it reads - which meant I was sat on my sofa kicking my feet and grinning, and I automatically wanted more.
I could delve into the plot and sing the character's praises higher but you'll have to pre-order Full Send to find out just why I loved it so much.
Easiest 5 stars I've given an ARC - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The world building was well done. It allowed me to envision being there. I knew nothing about skiing so it was interesting to learn so much about it.
I had fun reading this! I love a friends to lovers trope.
The character building felt fast and could have been more spread out. The FMC came across as kind of whiny throughout, so I couldn't root for her entirely. It felt like near the end, the FMC could have taken some accountability for how the disagreement occurred with the MMC.
I love a dual POV, and it was nice watching Tanner grow, but it felt repetitive in him pining after the FMC for the first portion of the book.
Overall, the smut scenes, level of spice, and the chemistry between the FMC & MMC was incredible. The writing and the flow of the story was genious. The spice scenes were immaculate!!
The writer was clearly passionate about this story and it can be seen in her writing. This book is incredible as a debut novel. Highly recommend to throw in onto your TBR. I'll be keeping an eye on future books from this author!

A cozy winter themed brothers best friend romance? Say LESS.
Veronica has finally escaped her corporate job by returning to her home town to visit her twin brother with her best friend in tow. Not long after arriving she runs into her brothers best friend, Tanner. Little does she know the now all grown up hunky dog dad has been holding a torch for her all these years. Tanner is the most gentle soul with a dirty mouth. Once he realizes he has a chance with his dream girl he’s not letting anything get in the way of that.
This book was a cute and cozy fall/ winter read. All of the characters meshed well together and I really enjoyed all of their banter. Tanner was such a golden retriever MMC and while Veronica was suffering from burn out she was still a light in his life. These two were sunshine x sunshine in the sweetest way. And the third act break up that was more of a third act pause/ disagreement wasn’t too earth shattering and really allowed both characters the space to realize what they truly wanted out of life.
I really did enjoy this book I just felt like it went on for a little too long with the amount of plot there was. Once it was revealed that they were together I felt like there wasn’t really anywhere else for the story to go as that was kind of the whole point of it. There was also a lot of ski lingo/ logic in the beginning that took up a little too much explaining in my opinion. I felt myself distracted while trying to read it because I just wasn’t that connected or invested in the characters or their story.

This is a slow burn but once it heats up it really really heats up 🥵

This story had well developed characters. I loved we got so much backstory and dual pov to get inside both Tanner and Ronni’s minds. I also loved the side characters and want more of them…maybe they’ll be book two 👀
Also I needed that cowboy sandwich scene! How dare you rob us of it!

I’ll start off by saying.. this does not feel like a debut novel.
Dakota Forest does an excellent job taking a sport like skiing and making it something I now feel like I need to try out West. Have I ever skied before? Yes… well, kind of. Do the bunny hills of southern Indiana count? If you’re familiar with the Teton Mountains, this book will feel like home to you. If you’re not familiar (like me) this book will still feel like home to you
Full Send is about four friends, Veronica and her twin brother Collin, Lizzy, and Tanner. Veronica, Collin, and Lizzy go out to the Teton Mountains for a much needed ski vacation. Tanner is a childhood friend of Collin and Veronica and lives out in Teton full time as a property manager.
The atmosphere is snowy & cold and Dakota does a great job at pulling you into the book. I hate winter… and don’t really like snow. But I was CRAVING some snow, a fire, and a little cabin getaway while reading this book. I think I could ski a black diamond after reading this.
Totally kidding.

I truly enjoyed the slow burn of this book. Because when the romance hit.. it hit HARD 🔥. There were moments I laughed out loud, kicked my feet, and even sent voice memos to my friend who was also reading this. I giggled so many times. And for those of you that like a cowboy romance.. there IS A COWBOY SPOTTING 🔭🤠 YEEHAW #cowboysandwich 🤤🤤🤤 #cowboyhunting

Dakota Forest does an excellent job taking a sport like skiing and making it something I now feel like I need to try out West. Have I ever skied before? Yes… well, kind of. Do the bunny hills of southern Indiana count? If you’re familiar with the Teton Mountains, this book will feel like home to you. If you’re not familiar (like me) this book will still feel like home to you
Full Send is about four friends, Veronica and her twin brother Collin, Lizzy, and Tanner. Veronica, Collin, and Lizzy go out to the Teton Mountains for a much needed ski vacation. Tanner is a childhood friend of Collin and Veronica and lives out in Teton full time as a property manager.
The atmosphere is snowy & cold and Dakota does a great job at pulling you into the book. I hate winter… and don’t really like snow. But I was CRAVING some snow, a fire, and a little cabin getaway while reading this book. I think I could ski a black diamond after reading this.

I’ve been slowly reading this book since january and now I finally finished it. I bought this ebook right after it came out because I followed the author on ig and I loved the premise of this. Unfortunately this wasn’t for me, the writing style didn’t work for me and it made it difficult to enjoy the story. It felt verbose and like there were too many unnecessary details. I wanted to love this because I liked the setting and the tropes, but in the end I didn’t.

I'm absolutely enamored with this story, which was an absolute slam dunk for me: childhood friends to lovers, brother's best friend, forced proximity, all the ooey, gooey secret feelings that bubble over and positively SCRUMPTIOUS spice! I'm not a skier myself, but this story also made me think I was one. Have I been shouting "SEND IT!" all week? Yes, yes I have. I wanna shred some sweet pow and maybe try out a flip or two! I simply cannot wait for the sequel because I've heard it gets even better (as if that is possible!). READ THIS BOOK NOW.

Having only skied a few times in my life and as never in as amazing place as Jackson, I felt right at home with this book! Not only did I feel right at home, but also like I was a part of this friend group.

Full Send by Dakota Forest is the first book in the On The Slopes series. This was such a fun and cute read. I loved the dynamic between this friend group. The storyline in this book was well paced and I loved how the romance progressed. The two main characters had great chemistry. This was dual POV which I love. It was awesome to see the difference between how the characters carry themselves compared to how they feel internally. These characters were likable and relatable. I really liked the vibe of this book and I am excited for Lizzy’s book.
Veronica was such a relatable FMC as someone who also overworks themselves and needs to have a plan for everything. I loved seeing her relax and enjoy herself on her ski trip. Tanner was introduced as a confident and charismatic MMC. I loved his POV because it gave you more insight on how much he is nervous and anxious like everyone else even though he acts so confident. I loved Tanner and how much he put Veronica’s feelings above his own. This man worshipped her and I was here for it. Veronica and Tanner were spicy and adorable together. This was my very first book in this kind of setting (skiing ⛷️ + snowy mountains, what could be more cozy?) and I loved getting to dive into this new subgenre of sports romance!! 🩵
Tanner and Ronnie’s chemistry was undeniable and I loved seeing them together in this fun, magical and exciting world! I was even laughing out loud at some of the scenes in this one (it’s okay, Ronnie. I totally get it as my eyes would’ve wondered as well with Tanner standing there like that! 😉🤣)
I can’t believe this is a debut from this wonderful author as the writing was put together very nicely and had me annotating. I loved the way Veronica described what she wanted and I really connected to her character as I I felt like she voiced some of the thoughts in my own head. 🩷

This story follows Veronica, a burnt out and anxious woman traveling to Wyoming for her much needed vacation with her best friend and twin brother, and Tanner, twin brothers best friend who lives in Wyoming full time struggling with loneliness and depression. Tanner has been borderline obsessed with V since childhood, and finally decides to make his feelings known about her, and V starts to learn how to keep herself grounded and not settle for less than what she desverves while also teaching Tanner it’s okay to open up to others about his feelings, even the shitty ones.
Y’all 🥵 Tanner is officially my new favorite book boyfriend. I loved how Dakota wrote about mental health struggles for both MC’s vs. just the FMC. She made the characters very relatable in that sense. And babyyyyy, that spice be spicin’! Absolutely loved this!

A debut novel perfect for the winter weather to come. This was a really sweet and perfectly spicy book about childhood friends turned lovers. Veronica or "Ronni" is fed up with work and returning to her family's ski lodge for a well deserved break with her best friend Lizzy. There she meets up with her twin brother Collin and his old time bestie Tanner. They all take some time on the slopes getting the adrenalin pumping and lots of steamy scenes follow in this spice heavy "He falls first" romance. Wintery ski vibes and an easy writing style make this a fairly quick cosy read. I was definitely rooting for this cute couple!
I generally like a bit more of a detailed storyline in my romances but there was just enough to keep me interested and invested in the characters.

This is my first ski romance read, and my god it did not disappoint. The spice! 🥵 Tanner is 100% book boyfriend number one & the scenes between him and Veronica were HOT! I found this book to be so easy to read and very binge able, with the frequency and variation with the spice scenes really working well.
I really liked the fact it had the underlying tone of the importance of speaking about your mental health and when you’re feeling down too - this conveyed through a male character made for a really great side plot.
This was so brilliant for a debut novel, and I’m really looking forward to reading more from Dakota in the future!

This was a fun brother’s best friend story, mountain vacation, childhood friends to lovers, he falls first & so much pining from the MMC! I loved the ski setting, it made me want to spend Christmas in the snowy mountains cozied up by the fire with my iced coffee! Tanner was all in with Ronnie from the beginning, and once she realized the depth of her feelings they just had to figure out how to make the distance work. Add in the sass and antics of Collin (Ronnie’s twin) and Lizzy (her best friend), and there’s never a dull moment! A very enjoyable debut novel from Dakota Forest!

Full Send (freakin love the title btw) was 💯 the ski themed smut I never knew I needed in my life, and was SO here for it. But it wasn’t just the spice. Ronni and Tanner’s story was well written and the characters (main and side) were well developed and so damn lovable. Forest describes the stunning Jackson setting it such vivd detail I truly felt like I was there. Thankfully just in my imagination because I cannot ski whatsoever. It was paced in that perfect way that has you not wanting to put it down. So I didn’t and happily devoured it in a few sittings. Sorry, not sorry.
Um… now let’s talk about the spice. Our gurl Dakota brought the heat, and not gonna lie, it took me by surprise a little. In all the right ways!

But Veronica doesn't plan for Tanner, her brother's best friend and someone she's known since childhood. Now, Tanner is all grown up, and their chemistry is undeniable. As they both fall hard for each other, Veronica must decide if she can let go of her meticulously planned life and go full send with Tanner.
I need to start by saying I have never skied in my life. After reading this book, I absolutely want to learn. I would also like to ride in a gondola (chapter 16 lives in my head rent-free!). This book was so fun to read and there was an excellent balance of spice and plot. Tanner and Veronica are such a great couple and I adored their love story. There were also a lot of funny moments that will stay with me (I may forever say honey badger incorrectly). This book also excited me for the winter; I am normally a fall person. Definitely grab this one ASAP!

I cannot believe this is Dakota's first book as everything was enjoyable to read.
Tanner and Ronni were so perfect for each other and the entire story had me feeling all the feels.
Their banter was so fun and when the spice hit it was perfect!

Reading this book, I would not have thought this is the authors first book. The story line is cute, with lots of spice! It makes me want to visit Wyoming and go skiing! If you like lots of spice, this is your book. Let’s talk about it, chapters 13, 16, 18, 19, 20…and the list goes on 🥵. This is a perfect book to begin the Holiday and winter season. Reading this book, I would not have thought this is the authors first book. The story line is cute, with lots of spice! It makes me want to visit Wyoming and go skiing! If you like lots of spice, this is your book. Let’s talk about it, chapters 13, 16, 18, 19, 20…and the list goes on 🥵. This is a perfect book to begin the Holiday and winter season. Because of this book, my motto for 2025 is going to be “Send It”! IYKYK!

It took me a while to finish this book because I’m swimming in ARCs, but if you want to add a cute winter romance to your TBR, you need to include this one! Despite being Dakota’s first book, it’s exceptionally well executed, and I loved the plot.
Veronica, or ‘Ronni,’ has worked for the same company since graduating, but she’s tired of being passed over for the marketing director position. She is burned out and looks forward to her two-week vacation in Wyoming with her twin and her best friend. Tanner, her brother’s best friend, has known her since they were little, but it’s been a while since they last saw each other. Ronni has always viewed this place as magical and loves being there.
Tanner was born and raised in Jackson, where he still lives today. He manages vacation rentals, plows snow during the winter, loves making knives, and enjoys skiing. Although he has always been drawn to Ronni, his friendship with her twin makes him hesitant to confess his feelings for fear of losing them both. Tanner struggles with depression, often hiding behind humor to keep others at bay. Meanwhile, Veronica deals with anxiety, feeling the need to plan and obsess over details to find comfort. When she sees Tanner again, she discovers he has transformed into a confident, adventurous man.
Now, Veronica notices him in a new light. She enjoys being around him; he makes her feel at ease. One kiss changes their dynamic, leading to a fling during her stay. Veronica is mesmerized by how he remembers her pizza and coffee orders, and he takes charge of her schedule, helping her relax. Although I haven’t skied before (just some snow tubing), I would gladly trade places with Veronica—especially for a ride in the gondola! Tanner is on a mission, and they enjoy their time together.
I loved the way they made each other feel; they beautifully complemented and supported one another. Their relationship blossomed over those two weeks. The character development and their readiness to acknowledge their weaknesses and rely on each other added depth to the story. I admire Veronica's bond with her twin and best friend—they understand her in a way that no one else does. Tanner gets her too; he starts to open up about his feelings with Veronica, which is a significant step for him. His relationship with his grandparents is sweet as well. I also love the meaning behind "Full Send."
This book is perfect for winter, and I highly recommend it. Tanner is so sweet with his dog, Rex, often talking to him. Who doesn’t talk to their pets? I sure do! I loved how Veronica ultimately opens her eyes, becoming a badass by putting herself first and leaving behind the toxic elements in her life. This book is fantastic—the small-town vibes and their skiing adventures make it so enjoyable.
