Rate this book
Andrew Spencer doesn't have time to date, let alone fall in love.

Since he was 19 years old, Andrew has been working hard, trying to make ends meet while raising a kid on his own. Now at 37, he's content with his life. He has a nice home, a good relationship with his son, and a stable job.

He couldn't want more...until he meets Thalia Greiff.

He shouldn't want her. She's 18 years old, new to town, and going through a rough situation. Worse of all, his son also has feelings for her.

She's young and off-limits. Yet he has never met a girl like her before.

He can't deny it, he wants the little angel, but at what cost?

Cute. Nice to read an age gap where people are accepting.

Way too many grammatical errors on Kindle.

So much to love about Only You by Ella Riley. The characters are extremely relatable, the feelings are utterly powerful, and the story is immensely compelling.

I loved the chemistry between Thalia & Andrew! It is a slow burn romance, with a touch of the forbidden. Thalia is the best friend of Andrew’s son, Emerson. Andrew battles his feelings for Thalia, however Thalia continues her pursuits. She finds so much comfort and security in Andrew’s friendship. When these two finally reveal and act upon their feelings, things most certainly heat up!

There is so much playfulness between these two. Andrew is loyal, protective, and obsessed with Thalia - his angel. He has always put others first and feels a huge sense of duty. Thalia is adjusting to some of life’s curveballs in a new town after her parents divorce. She finds solace in her friendship with Andrew; he makes her laugh and feel truly seen. On top of great banter, there is amazing spice! These two have some spicy moments together; Andrew is a dirty talker and worships Thalia when given the chance.

This book is incredibly moving, it will make you laugh, cry, and swoon! The connection that is created between Andrew & Thalia is absolutely heartwarming. These two are truly meant to be; seeing them overcome the obstacles set in their path together, is such a wonderful journey.

A must read age gap, small town romance!

I liked how this book the best friend's in this book were a guy and girl and very platonic, and there are no feelings for each other. Usually this does not bother me but for this book I kinda do wish Emerson and Thalia were in college from the beginning of the book I didn't like how they were in high school when Thalia and Andrew met. Other than if you're into the age gap and best friend's father romance book, definitely give this book a try!

I really loved this book. The relationship between Andrew and Thalia was a joy to read. They way they complimented each other was heartwarming. I also really enjoyed the friendship between Emerson and Thalia. I was happy that Emerson wasn't a jerk about his dad and best friend being in a relationship after she talked to him and he had time to cool down. A great forbidden romance read!

"I’m not letting you go. Not out of my sight. I want to take care of you. I want to fall asleep with you in my arms and see your beautiful smile each morning. When I get home, I want to see you. Spend mornings, evenings, nights. Weekends. Every day with you. I want to worship the ground you walk on and make you smile. I want all of you. Forever. Because. There’s only you.” 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️🥹🥹🥹

Great story, soooo many errors!
I enjoyed the characters and the plot and would have easily rated this book 4 stars, but there were so many grammar errors! I read a lot of Kindle Unlimited books, so I'm used to a few errors and typos, they don't usually bother me. Unfortunately, this book had so many errors (almost every page) that it took away from the story and was distracting. There were a lot of words used incorrectly where I had to stop and figure out what they meant to say. I was actually shocked when in the acknowledgements the author thanked her editor, I didn't think there was one, they should be fired! If the author happens to read this, I'm begging you to re edit it! It was a great story that unfortunately, suffers from poor editing.

Best friends dad, age gap, single dad. I love these tropes.
I love how there wasn’t much miscommunication. There was a lot of acceptance.
I did feel like Deja vu though. This book felt somewhat similar to birthday girl by Penelope Douglas.
If you liked that book, you probably like this one as well.
I just felt like it was not a very unique story. But I did enjoy reading it.
Writing style was very easy to follow. Connections did feel a little bit flat for me.

I received this book as an ARC through Booksirens.

overall, nice story. the side characters helped offset the stupid decision andrew made. seriously, don't get it. that was dumb, but then again men tend to be stupid, so...

david, grandma, and emerson... love those three. the side characters were dope as hell

another thing… there was a considerable amount of wrongly used words. i knew what the author meant and what was the actual word, but still... kinda sucked a little :/

💛❤️The book is fantastic! It tells the tale of Andrew, who finds himself captivated by his son's best friend, Thalia, from their very first meeting. Thalia has just moved to town following her parents' divorce, and Andrew grapples with his burgeoning feelings for her because he thinks his son likes Thalia but he wrong , also the book navigating a little challenge for the couple but Ultimately, their journey unfolds into a heartwarming happily ever after ❤️💕🤭.

Not good..

Poorly edited - spelling issues and terrible grammar.
Some things make absolutely no sense, I questioned more than once if this was poorly translated into English.
"He intoxicated me with spoiled milk"
"He shitted his pants"

I skimmed through the last half just to see how it ended.. and the ending was flat.
Adding this to the list of books I should have DNF'd

A very cute and sweet age-gap romance with just the right amount of sexiness. I would’ve loved it even more if they’d taken their time with the tension instead of giving in so quickly, but still, such a fun read. Best friend’s father is one of my absolute favorite tropes, and I’ll devour it anytime I can get my hands on it. It rarely disappoints… and this one definitely didn’t.

This was just meh to me. The story just lacked something and I wasn’t invested in the couple at all really. The writing was also just very awkward at times and it really distracted me from enjoying this

3.5 stars. I don't typically mind age gap, but I struggled a bit with this one.

Sentí mariposas, lloré, me reí, todo.
Super light y rápido de leer, los personajes eran super cute y me encantaba que todo se solucionaba hablando, no había mucho drama al respecto.
