DNF, it just got more raunchy every chapter. I hate not finishing a book, this one just wasn’t for me. I really thought this would be a fun Christmas one based on the book description. It had the perfect setup to be a fun holiday meet-cute story, but it never got there.

I absolutely loved this book. This has a collection of 3 books. Weston, Hunter, Edward are a group 3 out 7 friend that share a bond when they were young they were kidnapped. Book 1 we meet Amelie and Weston. I absolutely love the banter between them. I love the food related mathophores. Weston is a Billionaire and Amelie is a Pastry chef. Book 2 we meet Hunter who is running for Prime Minister and Zara a PR strategist. Zara fights the attraction between them but Hunter doesn’t give up. Book 3 we meet Edward and Mira. Edward is a former priest and Mira is his personal secretary. Edward proposes a marriage of convenience to Mira. My favorite couple is Amelie and Weston. 5/5 recommend it

I think the MMC/FMC broke up at least five times in this book? And all because of miscommunication/the MMC being a major douche.
The number of times the FMC "pales" after the MMC barks at her is kind of disturbing. I understand that he has PTSD, but I'm not convinced that he is in the right headspace for dating, especially given that this book takes place over the span of a couple weeks. I don't think anyone can change that quickly.
There are some books you read and wonder whether the couple will make it another year past the epilogue. This is sadly one of them.
Also that apple pie and wine scene was 🤢🤮. All I could think about was the possibility of an injury/UTI
On another note, the narrators are incredible!

Three different couples, three great holiday stories. Feisty women, and domineering possessive men a who won't stop at anything until they get what they want. It's got lots of secrets, it's sexy, sometimes makes you laugh and cry. I loved it all. Five stars.

DNF! I'm usually good for some pretty spicy but this is beyond spicy.
Spoiler: A few chapters into the first book and the tongue in thr back end was just too much. Then him going back door to front door, just inviting infection and then she kisses him. Nope, done. Nasty.

3 books in one I love this author writing style… Spicy levels are high but the HEA are always heartwarming. I hated the British language in the first two stories but overall good series.

Just save yourself and don't read it. The characters are ridiculous and poorly written. I'm so disappointed that this was my first book of 2025.
