In a word, Spectacular! I titled my review of the first book something like “so wrong and yet so right” and that statement was all I could think of when I finished this one as well. There were so many things I shouldn’t like about these characters and I am liking them anyway. Zachary, Reuben, Cassius and Apollo are all so broken and damaged that it borders on psychotic, especially since they are hyper focused on getting revenge for being abducted and used as sex slaves and kept in a dingy basement for years as children.
There was a lot of homoeroticism in this book which didn’t really surprise me too much since the main plot was about the young boys abused by the clergy. Also there are quite a few triggers, including abuse, non-consensual sex, whipping, spanking, burning with cigarettes and more. However, the storylines were utterly fascinating.
The world building and character development were great. In Their Kingdom Come, the guys told the heroine, Trinity about how Cass and Reuben were abducted ended up in that basement and some of the abuse they suffered. In this book she is told more, including a few surprise reveals. Trinity was still wavering between the belief that Father Gabriel was behind it and that he is still a good man.
Trinity also finds out some things about Father Gabriel that are pretty shocking. Trinity seemed extremely naïve and unable to make up her mind about anything. Though I suppose that can be attributed to growing up with her strict parents who made all her decisions for her. She was a good girl, homeschooled and raised by a Priest and his Wife, so she wavers between thinking she is bad for the thoughts and feelings and just enjoying them.
Trinity seems to like Reuben the best out of the four guys, but she has encounters with each of them as she tries to help them get information that will either prove father Gabriel innocent or guilty. What she does uncover keeps her ambivalent about what she should do. The guys, especially Zachary who is the de facto leader, are also uncommitted as to whether they can trust her or not. Sometimes they act like they have feelings for her and other times they seem to be using her.
The end is crazy surprising! It is all that and a bag of chips. I was biting my nails as I read the last quarter of the book and definitely could not put it down. I need that next book right away. I hope it’s coming out soon. I know Logan Fox probably is just starting on it, but I want it and every future book in this series right now. I could read them straight through without sleeping!
I love the forbidden darkness of these guys and I usually hate when a heroine wavers like Trinity did, but in this story it made it even better. She never knows if she wants to wash her hands of these guys or go all in and be a hedonist and just take whatever they offer.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
I’m trapped in the lion’s den and instead of looking for a way out, I’m poking the fucking lion.
MY GOD. *insert upside down smiley face emoji* THIS BOOK. Logan Fox has once again provided the dark romantic suspense filled goodness with “Their Will Be Done”. Probably the only author who can make such sacrilegious content feel like a religious reading experience. I don’t know whether the agonizingly slow build up in these books is a blessing or the biggest tease ever. At the end of the day the wait is always worth it, because Logan Fox fills my cup with mind blowing stories until it runneth over.
Trinity and the Brotherhood boys are back and things are just as confusing and intense as ever. Basically Trinity is still struggling with whether or not to trust The Brotherhood and her conflicting feelings toward each one of them. Should she help them with their plan or not. Zachary is trying to keep himself and the rest of his brothers focused on their goal. Taking down their Ghosts and Gabriel, but Trinity is a wrench in those plans. A complication that is bigger than they or she even know.
Ok without spoiling too much. This is part two of this story. There are some surprising reveals. There is insane tension, both sexual and emotional. This book is GRITTY. Logan Fox does NOT HOLD BACK, never ever. To clarify there’s some dub-con and non-con moments, and some extremely triggering other moments. All that said, this book was amazing. It is a slow burn build up romantically and suspense wise, but it’s so worth it. I feel like I said this last time, but this series is probably my Logan Fox favorite and that’s coming from a Blood for Blood series diehard.
So good. Check out Their Kingdom Come now, and pick Their Will Be Done up on June 29th!
After finishing Book #1 in this series, I was eager to read Book #2 as I wanted to find out more of this twisted story and how the boys were all connected and why they wanted to kill Father Gabriel with a vengeance, that they wouldn't let anyone stand in their way especially not Trinity. At the start of this book, the boys have captured Trinity and she is now faced with a choice - to help them or suffer deeply and be killed in the process. We learn in Book #2 how the boys came to meet one another and the dark things that happened to them and why they want revenge on those they call "The Ghosts". During Book #2 I wanted to know more about Trinity's parents and their relationship to Gabriel as when the boys talked about their ghosts, it did cross my mind that maybe Trinity's father was involved somehow. As Trinity helps the boys, she will also learn some dark secrets about her parents and Father Gabriel and that their connections go beyond just being "friends" but on a more sexual level. Can Trinity still help the boys when she has her demons to handle? What will happen though when things take a twist and it seems that Father Gabriel may have a closer hold on Trinity than she ever realized? Who will Trinity choose - the boys whom she has started to develop feelings for or the man who holds the key to her family's secrets and what her parents were like? Find out in Book #2 of The Sinners of Saint Amos by Logan Fox. Like the first book, Book #2 also ends on a massive cliff-hanger and are also hints of M/M action in the book too.
Talk about a plot twistttttttttttttttttt Their Will Be Done takes us back to the dark seduction world of Saint Amos where Trinity and the guys continue to delve in to the dark mystery that hangs over the group of them.
Immediately after finishing the first book, I dove into this one as how could I sleep on that ending. This book explore the growing tensions between everyone. It reveals quite a few secrets that explains things and allows readers to gain understanding about the men.
It also reveals a lot about the connections between Father Gabriel and Trinity. It opens up Trinity's eyes and this book delves into the abuse and neglect. We see the triggers and Fox opening our mind to what really has been happening behind close doors. The four guys really shine in this novel. Trinity is naive toy still to them and she in the middle. She wants ,she craves the darkness they offer. Rubern becomes a surprising shoulder to lean on but it is all crack up to be. Given the guys take her on a sensual journey that she may never want to leave.
Trinity is a good girl playing a dangerous game and we discover just some of the true intention of Father Gabriel. This second instalment was a fountain of knowledge and that ending was painful in a good way. It left me wanting to come back and start the end instalment but sleep is calling
I am writing this review after finishing this series. It was scattered and chaotic. The storyline was definitely good and I loved the vivid individuality of the characters in a reverse harem romance. However, it felt like the author only had that specific ending in mind and needed to make up something for the rest of the books. Some of the scenes didn't make sense (like the non-con gang bang scene) . ..and the bullying was like silly pranks. All in all, It was a "mixed feelings" series.
This is the second book in the series, and I do recommend reading them in order. Trinity is unsure of who to trust and more secrets are revealed about the Brotherhood. Who should she believe? The chemistry is hot and steamy, and the story is fast paced with loads of twists and turns. I was hooked from beginning to end. A great read!
Welll. This was certainly an interesting story. It started off as so anyways. This isn’t a bad author or badly written, the subject matter didn’t really interest me. I wanted to read them cause I heard they were bully romances but it ended up being more reverse harem than anything. I found there to be too much emphasis on her relationship with each men and not enough focus on the plot. The first book was good though!
WOW!! After reading the first book I was left breathless and dying to know what would happen next and man this book did NOT disappoint. It picks up here book one left off and we find out more about The Brotherhood and the things that they endured and how they cope with it. We also see that Trinity is having a hard time not knowing who to trust or what to believe and why she has these feelings towards all the guys of the Brotherhood. I loved that we got to see a little more inside the head of each of the guys and that Trinity was slowly allowing herself to more open to things. There are a lot of twist and turns I didn’t see coming and my heart hurt for Trinity at times because she truly felt she was all alone in this world and when things were slowly looking up and she decided to trust the guys a big bomb is dropped on us and now we have to wait for the last book to see how it all comes together. This does have some triggers that some may not enjoy but I am loving this series and the guys. What will happen when the truth comes out? Will the guys still look at Trinity with love and attraction or will they be forced to let her go?
ONE ROCKY ROAD LANDSLIDE!!! Unparalleled! Logan unleashes one jaw dropping, chart topping, block busting, page flipping dynamo, whipping out the blazing passion with such intensity and precision, blasting this baby to life spectacularly. A surging vortex of vexing mishaps and surprising circumstances, along with the intimidating trials and challenging tribulations, exposing the startling twists and stunning turns, put our characters through their paces, testing them in ways they could have never anticipated. Rolling with the drama, intrigue, turmoil, angst, revelations, mounting suspense and perplexing situations along with a boatload of confusion, you have one mind-blowing masterpiece. Anarchy, escapades and havoc run amuck, kicking this bad boy into a raging tempest, blasting it into a hissy with a life-altering culmination. Satisfaction is an understatement, this jewel comes packing a punch that will take you to your knees and leave you reeling, keeping you riveted and frozen to your seat. The raw magnetism, attraction and sizzling chemistry collides with such intensity, drawing you deeper until you feel the electrifying hum running rampant through your veins. The characters, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits, blend and flow, transforming into genuine charismatic personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and descriptions that feel as though you were transported to ground zero with them. Amazing job Logan, thanks for sharing this treasure with us.
The plot thickens. I literally could not put this book down. The first book was a good introduction to the characters but this second book has gone off with a BANG! And holy moly what a STEAMY sex scene, seriously panty melting. The characters are all so deeply disturbed this book is definitely sinful and dark. I cannot wait for the third book!
Brilliant writing this isn't a fast burn book, it's gradual and reverse harem so the FMC is involved with all of the guys and it works! The Brotherhood are so tightly linked that they can't do seperate. Fairly new to the author but I will definitely check out more books.
TWISTED EYE POPPING Suspense!!! It will leave you speechless demanding MORE! From a flick of a page your head goes spinning trying to grasp the twisted words that evoke warm tingles and shock filled eye popping cringes. It grabs your attention latching on with a fierce hold making it Impossible to put down as the story unfolds at a smooth mind blowing twisted pace that is steamy, with emotionally gripping pain, adrenaline, fear and nerve wracking suspense. I LOVE this DARK series and can't wait to get my greedy hands on book three.
Omg, I can’t believe what I’m reading. Damn know it’s starting to make sense. How could she not pick up on the clues. This is getting so good. I would think that we are coming to a close but something is saying their is more to this story. All these twists and turns are starting to unravel one by one. I must say that the brotherhood is right about the Father being the center of it all, but to what extent will he deliver the truth in its entirety. Hmm, I love trying to get in the minds of the characters as I read this book. I love that Zachary has the mind of a sadist, but is very analytical. I’m curious to know which of the brothers left that clue. As for Trinity I must say I love her innocence, it’s precious and gives her strength. Above all, I love how her character has grown. I can’t wait to dive into the next book.
This is book two in a series and can’t be read as a stand-alone and does end on cliffhanger and it is a nail biting one, can’t wait for the next book! We get some answers and insight in book two but even more questions. I am loving this series so far for its darkness, grit and suspense factor but this definitely not suited for a reader that has triggers
Logan Fox drew me into these series with the spectacular covers- they look straight out of a Vogue high fashion spread! Sure, I’m a sucker for a fresh and intriguing cover- but what has kept me turning the page is this delightfully suspenseful, dark and sacrilegious bully tale full of mystery and suspense.
In Book 1 we saw recently orphaned Trinity transition into her new life as the ward of Father Gabriel, Provost of Saint Amos. She was not welcomed by the scary group of boys that attend the all-boys school. Book 2 picks up straight where we left off- with the Brotherhood still trying to figure out just what Trinity’s presence means for their plans to take down the Guardian- what role is Trinity to play?
In book 2, the Brothers confront Trinity with some key information about Gabriel and the Ghosts- including exposing their years of abuse in a basement. They coerce her into gathering intel on Gabriel to help them with their plan- which she agrees to do, but mostly out of a lingering hope that they are wrong. Over the course of our story, she gets to know the Brothers each individually much more, as do we. Each are complex, interesting, but oh so damaged and depraved. I love when an author takes characters who are pretty unredeemable and finds ways to crack them open for us- ways for us to empathize with their darkness, and in turn, perhaps expose our own.
The relationships here are….,well, darkly complicated. Our characters have suffered much abuse and have their own set of idiosyncrasies that give them their own twisted flavor- and Trinity is understandably caught in the tornado that is Zac, Reuben, Cas and Apollo. Conflicted would be an understatement- and what an interesting relationship dynamic this turns out to be. Hoping to get more POVs in book 3, although here I think it helps to add to the suspense- we aren’t sure exactly what they want with Trinity or how they really feel.
While there are some details about how the school work/character ages that are still are a bit blurry- this is a world that is easy to get lost in. I’m not one for stories with heavily religious undertones- even if they are subversive or heretical- but this works for me. The spiritual elements just add to the twisted darkness of the story that Logan is weaving- making the characters feel more damaged, more perverse and “wrong” simply by the juxtaposition of the “sacred..” Both books have felt a bit of a crescendo to me- slow to start but that accelerates quickly as more intense secrets are unearthed and more mysteries left to solve. While this isn’t ‘the darkest story I’ve read, please note the author’s notes and copious warnings in the reviews- they are some dark elements (abuse, dubious consent, twisted and psychotic characters) that aren’t for everyone.
I fell hook line and sinker for this damn book. Their Will Be Done is book 2 in the Sinners of Saint Amos series and if possible even better than book 1. This is not a standalone so read book 1 Their Kingdom Come if you haven't already. This book picks up where we were left hanging and it does not disappoint.
Trinity and her depraved guys are back, she's still struggling to believe The Brotherhood and their revelations about Father Gabriel and his involvement with the Ghosts from the guys pasts. She doesn't trust them but they need her to in order to pull off the new plan, without her they would have to resort back to their original plan before Trinity arrived at Saint Amos. Trinity agrees to help the guys get what they so desperately need in order to take down Gabriel and their Ghosts. Can she do it? and if she does at what cost.
This book is hella intense, full of sexual tension, it's a slow build almost like each touch, kiss, lingering looks is one big tease until it isn't a tease anymore and then it's freaking HOT. There's a few surprises waiting around the corner to watch out for. I will warn you there are some dub-con and non-con scenes and triggers so take that in to consideration. Having said that this book was truly amazing and I'm overly excited for book 3 and seeing the depravity of Zach, Rueben, Cass and Apollo and just how far their willing to go to break Trinity just like they were broken all those years ago....
Wow! This second book in The Sinners of Saint is a fantastic yet dark and twisted continuation of the first book. In book one we were introduced to the players, some of their background and how they ended up at St Amos. In this book Logan has picked up the pace and the plot really does thicken as we become more acquainted with the Brotherhood, Trinity and their cause, although Gabriel still remains an enigma and a mystery. Logan does not cut any slack in her books and this one is no exception, it is gritty, dark and yeah it ends on a major cliffhanger. Trinity is drawn to the guys of the Brotherhood but does not know if she can truly trust them, she also finds out some mind shattering information about Gabriel. There is plenty of action, suspense and at times some scary moments, there is also some pretty hot and heavy scenes with various/dubious amounts of consent regarding sex. I would bear in mind this is a dark romance and if you read this well written series with fantastic world building and characters, there may be triggers. I absolutely devoured this book and once started I truly could not put it down (read until 3 am because that's how invested I became in the story). I hadn't thought anything could touch the Blood for Blood series, however The Sinners of St Amos is certainly giving it a run for it's money.
ARC received for on honest review, all comments and opinions are my own.
I devoured this book!! Every second I needed more. I literally couldn't put it down. Logan Fox has done an amazing job once again!
The plot continued from where it left off from book one. The puzzle pieces to this story keeps fitting together more and more, creating the picture of what everyone is fighting for. There were so many twists and turns that fully keep you on your toes the entire time. Honestly, I didn't know who was telling the truth, who was lying , or who to trust. This just adds so much more entertainment while reading. This book was also steamy hot. The chemistry is off the charts. The sex scene was hot, Hot, HOT!! I truly understand why Trinity feels like she is sinning, I feel like I am doing the same while reading, but its all the more fun to sin.
I still love these characters!! Trinity is growing stronger by the second. She is finding her fight, standing up for herself, and not backing down. I am encouraging her character development. Rueben, Zachary, Cass, and Apollo are still as alluring as they were from book one. My heart just opens up more and more for them each scene I read. They all have their own special place in this brotherhood that fits perfectly together.
I am totally in love with the Sinners of Saint Amos books. I can't wait for more. I love how clearly I can picture these books. I can't wait to see the story develop more and get the answers to my questions. Thank you Logan Fox for creating this series, you have given me another series to obsess over.
Ok, bear with me! I am just out off reading the last word of the book. So my review might just be jumbled words of shock, frustration over when I get to read the next book and maybe fan hurling over what an epic read this was.
*Deep sigh*
This is book 2 in THE SINNERS OF SAINT SERIES, so if you want to follow the storyline start with book 1 (Thy kingdom come) .
I am not a fan of the RH genre, I really like the one man/woman for the HEA. BUT, yes a whole but Logan fox made me sit down and read these beautifully broken boys and how they are a brotherhood! This is a dark romance so it goes without saying, tons of triggers!
We are just starting to see the depths of depravity these boys were part of, each having their whole backstory! The first book made me question where does Trinity come into this whole plot and it cannot be so simple! Boy! I was right and mindblown as I read the last few pages, the book was filled with action and dripped with sin. In the first book I thought Zach was mysterious one but now (I still stand by Zach being mysterious) Cass, that guy seriously carries a persona like a second skin! As you read more, you get sucked into finding what actually happens? What did they endure? How did they get out? Such a great world building! It goes without saying(again) that Miss Fox writes some of the best dark romance I have read this year, but this was a bonus when the darkest romance has the most overwhelming sexual tension, the hottest scene🔥 and the brutal cliffhanger all wrapped in one!!!
Anyway, I think I managed to calm down to finish this off by saying that if you like dark romance, read the series!!
There are a lot of twist and turns I didn’t see coming and my heart from Trinity at times because she truly felt she was all alone in this world and when things were slowly looking up and she decided to trust the guys a big bomb is dropped on us and now we have to wait for the last book to see how it all comes together. This does have some triggers that some may not enjoy but I am loving this series and the guys. What will happen when the truth comes out? Will the guys still look at Trinity with love and attraction or will they be forced to let her go?
Wow, once again Logan has provided us with a dark, twisted bully romance full of suspense! These characters are so broken, i really cant tell if we will get a HEA at the end of this, maybe these boys are too damaged after all. Everything is just so twisted in this story, you just don't know what Logan will hit you with next. I literally cannot predict where this is going to end up. This story is shocking and such a page turner, i couldn't put it down! I love all the boys for different reasons but i think i love the strong, broody Reuben slightly more than the others at the moment. This book and the characters have seriously left me speechless! I literally screamed at my kindle when i realised i had hit the end...because i seriously don't know how i am going to wait for the next installment. I'm hoping even more secrets come to light and that these boys can lay their ghosts to rest, they so deserve some closure and i'm hoping Trinity can be the strong heroine we need her to be and help them get there!! Be warned this book does have triggers....but if you are fan of dark and twisted romance then this is a must read!! Highly recommend. I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.
OMG, what has Trinity gotten caught up in?! She has agreed to help the Brotherhood by downloading Father Gabriel's computer files onto a thumb drive, but she can’t figure out exactly she will be able to access the computer when Gabriel is still in the room. Zachery tells her that he will create a diversion, just keep Gabriel occupied until 8 pm. At exactly 8 pm, Father Gabriel receives a phone call that turns him white as a ghost, and he runs from his rooms to handle some traumatic incident. That gives Trinity the opportunity to hunt for the computer and copy the files. However, the “incident” May have come at a price nobody was expecting. When Gabriel finally returns to his rooms,Trinity has had way too much wine, and gets sick when he reveals a shocking truth to Trinity that shakes what little faith she had in mankind. She is ready to reveal the secret of the Brotherhood to Father Gabriel just to get them to leave her alone, but Reuben takes her to the bell tower and reveals the truths they have uncovered. Once again shaken to her core, she decides to continue to help them bring Father Gabriel down, but at what cost to her virtue?
The first book was okay. It was solid but it didn't draw me in the way that other books have done by this author until the very end. This book though? YEAH, I was hooked. The suspense, the mystery, the secrets, and the games between the characters made me a bit more than a few fingernails down to the quick. Just when I thought I had it figured out, then there would be another twist. That made for some great reading.
The secrets that did come out shocked me, but it was the last 25% of the book that had me on pins and needles. It was beyond intense. Parts of it were some of the hottest things that I have read. True debauchery at its best. So dirty and so depraved. Then, to get that ending out of left field after I thought everything was hunky-dory... and the last conversation with a whopper of a cliffhanger/reveal... I am not sure I have wanted to scream at an author more than I did at that moment. I need the final book of this trilogy now. Man, oh man, I hate cliffhangers for a reason. This was a rough one. I have a feeling I know who the ghosts are, and I hope to all that is right and good, that I am wrong. Regardless, it will make for a hell of an ending.
Wow! Genius! I am so hooked on this new series. This is the second book in The Sinners of Saint Amos series, this is a continuing series so you need to read book one. Trinity's life has been a whirlwind of change lately. The Brotherhood has complicated things for Trinity why is gotten and remained in their sights is a mystery that just fuels this story and its amazing characters forward. This book will get your blood pumping and your heart thumping as the story line continues to twist and turn as Trinity and the Brotherhood continue with their every day lives of attending school and dealing with the socialties of growing up. I cannot recommend reading this series or this author in general enough. If you love a story that contains serious twists, shady darkness and characters that frustrate and steal your heart, this is for you. All you can do is guess on what lies ahead but I know from experience that what one may expect is not what you will get. Enjoy! I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received directly from the author.
This series is just too dark for me. I thought I would be okay with it after reading the first one, but this second one was worse, and I wasn't a fan.
The male characters in this book are fucked up--with good reason--but they are seriously damaged. I can normally get behind a damaged hero, but not when they become abusers themselves. The guys needed therapy, not weed and alcohol.
The FMC is a hot mess, and I had a hard time trying to find anything to like about her. By the end of book two, I really just wanted the academy to burn down, with all of them in it. There wasn't a thing or person that I cared about.
There are a lot of triggers in this book: rape, pedophilia, sexual molestation, physical abuse, drug and alcohol abuse....and more. Please make sure you note this before picking up this series.
And the twists just keep coming… Ends on a cliffhanger
One thing I now know for certain is that the Brotherhood will do whatever it takes to get the vengeance they seek – regardless of what it might cost each of them personally. Will Trinity be their salvation as they believe, or the instrument of their ruin?
This is a well written and riveting, dark tale with compelling and complex characters. There’s plenty of suspense, drama, anguish, brutality, and humiliation along with some shocking revelations. The romantic dance between the characters ramps up exponentially to culminate in an intense ménage encounter that might be triggering for some.
I’m very much looking forward to book 3, ‘Deliver Us From Evil’. I received an Advance Reader Copy from the author, and am voluntarily leaving a review.
