Koslov Bratva #4

Sinful Betrayal

Rate this book
The plan was simple;
Seduce Anton Koslov so my father could avenge the murder of my brother.

I should hate Anton for what he did to Maxim,
but the more time I spend with him,
the more I realize he’s not the monster my father makes him out to be.
Before long, I’ve fallen in love with him.
He has no idea who I really am or who my father is.
Our whole relationship is based on lies.
I need to tell Anton the truth.
And I’m about to…when I discover I’m pregnant.
To say I’m terrified is an understatement.
Especially when I learn exactly what my father has planned for Anton.
My father is determined to make sure my happily ever after is forever out of my reach,
but he underestimated just how far I’ll go to protect the man I love.

Sinful Betrayal is the fourth book of the Kolslov Bratva series. Each book in this series features a different couple and can be read as a standalone, but for better understanding of the world, you might want to read previous books first.

I wanted to enjoy this book so much, but there is a limit to the number of "I'm going to tell him" proceeds to not tell him. I can handle.
Especially given that the fallout from the secret is resolved in less then the last 10% of the book. It left me feeling incredibly disappointed.

This was a surprisingly good Bratva romance! It stood out from others in the genre, especially because the FMC actually had a task…something tangible that showed the darker, more brutal side of the Bratva world. It wasn’t just about falling in love with a dangerous man or poor little rich girl who fell in the arms of another Bratva…it dug into the harsh realities a little too, which I appreciated.

Now, let’s talk about the MMC! 🔥🔥🔥 and the narrator really did an amazing job hot. The MMC was not only hot but also a decent human being. Not just broody and possessive like most (oh, love those too but this was such a change!), but genuinely nice to people…Total book boyfriend material.

I’d say more, but I don’t want to spoil it.

That said, something is really starting to bother me in these kinds of stories. Why do FMCs have these clearly single, supportive friends, and the only thing the FMC can do is warn them to “stay away”? From the hot guys? Like Nina in this one, what was her deal? Her friend clearly liked one of the other guys and all she can say is stay away I’m marrying into this family… what the actual F?!?! I would understand if she knew the guy was bad news… Like No support, no matchmaking, nothing. It’s wild to me that someone could be lucky in love and not want the same for their friends. That would have been the end of friendship for me…Honestly, the selfishness and total self-centeredness of the FMC gave me narc vibes at times. Hated that.

Still, the story was entertaining and a good twist on the usual mafia romance formula. Definitely worth reading if you're into Bratva but want something a genuinely likable male lead.

Absolutely phenomenal!

Sinful Betrayal had everything I could’ve hoped for—heart-stopping action, edge-of-your-seat suspense, intense steamy moments, and genuinely tender, heartfelt scenes. Anton finally takes center stage, and he is beyond everything I imagined: fiercely loyal to his cousins, caring and protective of his mother, and a man with a heart so big it makes you swoon. Nina, on the other hand, had layers I didn’t expect. While I wanted to yell at her sometimes for her choices, understanding her father’s manipulation and her own struggles made me empathize with her deeply. Her growth and resilience throughout the story made her incredibly relatable and engaging.

Kira Cole’s writing is captivating, pulling you in from page one and refusing to let go. The chemistry between Anton and Nina is fiery yet nuanced, the stakes are high, and the world-building within the mafia backdrop is incredibly immersive. The secondary characters add so much depth and emotion, making the story feel rich and alive. Every twist and turn had me gasping, and the tender moments hit just as hard as the suspense.

This book is a perfect blend of romance, danger, and drama—a full, satisfying experience. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone craving a mafia romance with real heart, complex characters, and moments that will have you laughing, crying, and swooning all at once. Sinful Betrayal is a masterclass in the genre and easily one of my favorites of the year!

P.S. I read this book back in February but I didn't have Goodreads back then

🎧 Audiobook review 🎧⚡ Spoilers might lie ahead—I usually like to talk shit about everything that goes down in these books

"Oh Anton, the man that you are."

This one’s a cute, slightly silly little mafia story that leans into all the usual tropes — the perfect light read to pull you out of a slump.

What really worked for me was how the two main characters were set up. Sure, Anton’s your classic big, bad mob guy, but in his personal life? He’s downright swoony — caring, respectful, attentive, sexy as hell, loyal... I’d happily get locked up with him any day.

And Nina — what a delight. She’s complex, ambitious, flirty, resourceful, and actually capable of thinking for herself. Sure, she still ends up a damsel in distress (such is the life of a mafia girlfriend), but at least she makes it look good.

Now, what I didn’t love was the inevitable pregnancy plot twist. How do these men manage to stay single and child-free for so long when their “super-manhood” apparently dissolves birth control on contact? Every woman in this series gets pregnant faster than you can say “family business.”

The spice was decent — nothing groundbreaking, but elevated by the male narrator, who did an impressive job with the dirty talk. (That slurping sound, though… I was not prepared.) Huge thanks to James Cassidy <3

The audiobook is duet style — always a win in my book — and Blair Thatcher brought Nina to life beautifully.

This is the 4th story in the Koslov Bratva Series where Nina is allowed to be a ballerina if she spies on the man responsible for killing her brother. While at Anton’s club Nina finds herself in his lap striking up a flirty conversation that ends too quickly. Anton has a need to keep her safe finding Nina in a dangerous position. He takes charge whisking Nina to his house until the danger has been removed. Anton believe his enemy, Nina’s father is after him. These two have secrets protecting themselves and as they spend time together they become something special with Nina never revealing her true identity. Nina starts to doubt her father’s words leading her down an unknown path. Anton has always been involved in the family business so when he learns Nina’s secrets before she’s able to share do things between them fall apart! When Anton promised to keep her safe in his anger he fails her and now finds himself in a fight to save their lives. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Duet Narration - James Cassidy & Blair Thatcher
These two narrators are really good. I love James voice it’s deep but not too deep just hits just right 😉

This is the fourth book in the Koslov series.

I will admit the third book lost me just a little bit. But this one redeemed my interest in this one going story 100%

I feel in love with these two characters and enjoyed their story so much.

Nina is being forced to gather information on the Koslovs by her father in order to gain her freedom to attend Ballet school. She never expected to find Anton to be completely different than the monster her father painted him to be.

Anton is struggling to take care of his mother and help his cousins run the family business. Also helping them find a long lost sibling. He meets Nina and is curious about her right away. He swears to protect her. Little does he know she has a big secret.

Reading about these characters love story had me smiling. I know this is a dark romance but I found it to be heartwarming with a sprinkle of darkness.

This book is easily read as a standalone, however I wish I had read it as part of the series, especially as it seems to end of a bit of mystery clifthanger (?) as well as a HEA.
I also would have liked to get to know some of the secondary characters we meet briefly in Anton s family.
Anton is a very charming, passionate and at times deeply sensitive hero. He is not the complete alpha dominating hero, which is a good thing in my book. He makes some lovely, romantic gestures in the book.
Nina, is a character trapped in a difficult situation. I did however love her friend group and the fact that her dream career was still possible at the end of the book.
There was a lot of spicy scenes, action and a really villianous baddie. At times the plot was a bit predictable.
Overall I think fans of this genre will greatly enjoy this book.

Wow, this was another exhilarating book to read and I couldn't put this book down, the story of the Koslov Bratva series book four and everyone of them including this one didn't disappoint they have been exciting. The continuation we had Anton, and Nina, Nina is a ballerina and wants to continue but for her to continue she has mad a deal with her father. When Anton picks up Nina it was on the drive when they were targeted at and all Anton wanted to do was protect her. Can Anton get her to New York safely and find out who put a hit on them. Their friendship and chemistry grew to hot and steamy, intense, sensual romance. There were so many emotions throughout this book twist and turns, suspense, danger, secrets, betrayal, lies, and deliciously electrified romance. I would recommend reading this book you won't be able to put down.

Sinful Betrayal was quite entertaining and an absolute pleasure to read. Author Kira Cole continues to take me by surprise with each amazing book that I have read from her so far. Each book that I have read by her has been an absolute pleasure to read and this book is no different. The characters were well developed and beautifully executed throughout the book. I couldn’t get enough of the main characters amazing story. I absolutely enjoyed getting to know about the main characters and seeing their breathtaking story unfolding throughout this remarkable book. I would absolutely give this book as a recommendation for anyone who enjoys reading mafia romance books. I can’t wait to read more amazing romances from this author in the near future.

This book had it all! Action, suspense, plenty of steam, and some great tender moments, too!
Anton’s been present in all the previous books and has always been there when his cousins have needed him. I was happy to learn he was getting his own book!!!
Anton was even more amazing than I could have imagined! His loyalty to his cousins, combined with his sweet and caring nature towards his mother, and his genuine goodness made him irresistible!
Nina was also great! While I disliked what she set out to do, I also sympathize with her and the fact that her father was making her do what she was doing. My heart did ache for her every time he basically confirmed that he only saw her as a tool and that he could care less for her.
I’m very curious to learn more about Nikolai and to get Daniel’s story!.

I was hooked from page one!! This is it!! Omg😍
Their chemistry- off the charts!! The plot beyond goood!!
Its the kind of story you know how it will end- yet u wait for the bomb to drop ! And then bbooooommm!!😌

Nina was spying for her father, Anton was head over heels for her and a damn protector when it comes to his family!🥹

This is the obvious one when we all knewwww that their relationship is building on lies and when Nina learns her fathers betrayal, she should have spilled the truth to Anton but the story builds the plot thickens!😍😍

The way Anton finds out about her is mind blowing!🤩
Though it was kind of suspected, and the last ending of the book gave me goosebumps 😌😍😌😍

Now i know why i am sticking to this series… that one enemy of the Koslov family just don’t die😩

The end of this book will force u to pick the next one immediately 🏃‍♂️

Wow, what a fantastic book this is! I was captivated from the first page, loved every twist and turn, all the drama, intrigue, secrets and hot, hot steamy scenes.
Nina, the daughter of Igor, head of a Russian Bratva, has a lifelong dream of becoming a professional ballerina, and dance with the New York Ballet. Nina had to pay a price for her father to allow her to come to New York, he has given her the task of getting close to Anton Koslov, in order to get his revenge for Anton killing his son and her brother.
Anton, was captivated from the minute he met Nina, they were beautiful together, he had no idea who she was, but he was falling for her pretty quickly!

Sinful Betrayal is the 4th book in the Koslov Bratva series. This is an enemies to lovers mafia romance. All Nina wants to do is fulfill her dreams of becoming a ballerina, however her father is only humoring her to get what he wants as she is just a pawn in his war. Anton is just looking for a distraction from the stress in his life when an angel lands in his lap. When Nina is attacked, Anton becomes very possessive and overprotective. As things heat up, emotions spark, hope soars and guilt sets in. This book is full of angst, fear, betrayal, heartache, secrets, love and spice!!! Absolutely loved it and can't wait to see what comes next!!!.

A Gripping Tale of Deception and Desire

Sinful Betrayal is a captivating read that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The author masterfully weaves a story filled with tension, unexpected twists, and deeply layered characters. Every chapter builds suspense, making it impossible to put the book down.

The writing is immersive, effortlessly drawing you into a world of secrets, passion, and consequences. The character development is especially strong—each one feels real, flawed, and compelling, making their choices and struggles all the more impactful.

If you enjoy stories filled with intrigue, emotional depth, and a touch of darkness, Sinful Betrayal is a must-read. It’s the kind of book that lingers in your mind long after you’ve turned the final page.

Sinful Betrayal, the fourth book in the Koslov Bratva series, can be read as a standalone—I jumped in without reading the first three and never felt lost. The story fully stands on its own.

This installment follows Nina, a ballerina forced by her ruthless mafia boss father to spy on Anton, a powerful underboss. All Nina wants is to dance and escape her father’s control, but under the threat of being sent back to Russia, she reluctantly agrees to his plan.

The story is engaging, though it moves a bit slowly at times, with most of the high-stakes action and adventure happening toward the end. Still, I enjoyed Nina and Anton’s dynamic and found the characters intriguing.

Bueno, bueno, bueno.
Me he encantado.

This series is just wonderful a definite page turners. The way all of the men are such close family is amazing. She was only doing what she thought was right for her father and her family. He has done the things that he has done to protect his family and those he loves. Once she saw what he was like everything she knew about him just didn't add up. The things she goes thru because of her father is just terrible. I would love to see what the future holds all of these characters. Also will they ever locate Lev and learn the truth?.

Considering the title is literally Betrayal, there is very little focus on it in the book. The betrayal comes to light towards the end of the book and I honestly thought this was going to be a duet because I was running out of pages as I was reading. I thought, sure they couldn't wrap up the betrayal aspect of it so quickly. Spoiler alert, they did and it did not do it justice. I wanted more from the resolution of the climax. One letter and all is forgiven, which is hard to believe considering the MMC's past.

Aside from that, the spice was good. Both main characters had good chemistry from the get go. I need a book on Emma because everyone needs a friend like that!!

This novel kept my interest from the start with Nina's deception. The attraction between Anton and Nina was off the charts. I was very sympathetic to Nina's guilt about deceiving Anton.
The story line flowed well, there was plenty of intrigue as well as suspense when Nina is kidnapped by her father.
The characters were well developed, the plot included great twists.
I look forward to the next chapter in the Koslov saga.

This is Book 4 in the Koslov Bratva Series by this author, and can be read as a standalone. It is an enemies to lovers mafia romance between Nina and Anton. These two flawed souls and the unique plot make for a captivating read. It is a love story filled with drama, danger, suspense, passion, secrets, twists and turns, plus engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. The chemistry between the main characters is combustible and the connection is strong. An emotional page turner.

Anton gets his Moment

Nina and Anton a couple compromised of two enemies, bring on the drama. From the moment she falls in his lap I was biting my nails. Anton just oozes charisma from their first interaction. The way he coined her ‘Nina the ballerina’ was delivered so endearing. The chemistry is undeniable throughout.

His intentions in the setting of his home and personal atmosphere combined with the range of protection he extends show cased the different sides of him. A great continuation of this family.

This story is about Anton and Nina. This is a quick read with 279 pages. The story line moves very quickly but it’s still full of details and character development. I do feel like the ending was rushed but it does wrap everything up in a nice HEA with a maybe cliffhanger…. The love story is fast paced but very cute. It shows more insight on the Koslov family and their bond and the lengths the go to protect their family. Hopefully there will be another book to come.

A great Bratva story. Anton is part of the Koslov Bratva who rescues Nina from two assailants not knowing it was a set up. Nina wants to be a ballerina but her father, the head of the Ivanov Bratva, is using her to get close to Anton so he can kill him. The plot has lots of twists and turns but Anton and Nina work their way through for their HEA but even that has a twist. A real must-read.

In order to live her dream, Nina made a bargain with her father to seduce Anton but she didn’t expect him to be so lovable and for her to fall hard. The plot continues on from the previous books in the series. I'm kind of sad that I don't know who will be the main character for the next book. Anton and Nina are great characters. It was a great story.
