This was a good second chance, romantic suspense. Beckett and Riley were high school sweethearts Until Beckett joined the Marines. He returns to his hometown to bury his father and discovers Riley has a stalker. then things take off. The love story between Riley and Beckett is sexy and romantic. The suspense was a little slow and not really nail biting excitement for me. If you’re looking for a quick read during the holidays and wanting a little suspense in you life, this story will give you that.

Now Beckett is back and even though the old feelings are still there, she's not sure if she can get over the grief of her brother. I really enjoyed this suspense! Second chance is one of my favorite tropes, and this book delivers: it has a hot protective man coming back into town, an intelligent heroine who needs a bodyguard, and enough chemistry between them to keep me interested! Well done!!

Protecting Riley

Wonderful story of rekindled love and intriguing action. I loved the way this book got right into the action and romance. It was fast reading and every interesting all the way to the last page.
