Lost to the Orcs

Rate this book
I just died.

Or I thought I died. But I'm definitely alive and breathing, staring at a sky with two moons. I'm found wounded by men who have nefarious intentions. When they corner me, I run. Rescued by an Orc with golden eyes, who makes my blood heat and drives me crazy. He says he wants to share me with his brother. To mate me. But we have to make it to their mountain first because fall is upon us and winter will soon follow. And the mountain is their Winter home.

During our journey and my life in the mountain, I have to come to terms with the fact that I'm actually in another world. I wonder; how do I get back? If I even want to go back? Can I survive this world? These people? It is a terrible thing starting fresh in a place you don't belong. Especially when the males you meet and most of their people make this feel more like home with every passing second.

What a brilliant debut!

I’ve read many of Violet’s fanfics over the years and so when she said that she had published a book I rushed out and got it right away.

This book was sweet, funny and oh so spicy. It made me laugh and cry at times, make sure you read the trigger warnings to take care of yourself.

This is the first omega verse book that I’ve actually enjoyed, years ago I’d accepted that it simply wasn’t my thing, but this book changed all of that!

The only thing that would improve it would be if it was longer. 💕

This was a new author for me and the cover initially grabbed my attention. :D The artist, is one I follow and of course, I LOVE Orcs. :D This was a great read and can't wait to see what else this author creates for us to enjoy.
In this tale, we have Addie, who finds herself shot as she has a gang of youths come into her home under the pretense of needing help. In the ensuing surprise, she ends up being shot. Later waking, to find herself on another world and still in danger. Rescue comes in the form of U'snar. I loved the way he followed her, watched over her and left food for her. :D
So enjoyed their banter and then with Jaedason.
They had much to endure and overcome with the changes in all their lives. Mostly Addie and her near death to finally being with her two Orc's. I thoroughly enjoyed the style of this story and the characters who were so committed to each other. I was relieved with the ending and their final hea. :D
I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. I look forward to more.

I loved so much this book. I bookmark all most 99% of the book 😊.
What a beautiful, sweet, SO HOT and SO funny PNR RomCom. A medium to fast-burn Sweetverse.
Is important to read the content warnings.
I'll try not to give too many spoilers, as I really like them, but I know there are those who think otherwise.
What if it were possible for the soul to switch bodies? What if the switch made us go to different worlds?
We have ORCs, mates, heats, monsters (that aren’t the creatures), drama, love, laughter and so many spicy moments 😊.
Is a MFM, where 2 ORC brothers fall in love with a sassy woman human(ish?).
Our “Sunkissed” is a wonderful person. She is a badass and I think we really should be friends 😉.
Advice: if you read the book in public, you may run the risk of laughing to yourself and people staring at you. It happened to me!

Spicy, why choose mfm (swords do not cross), 1st person multiple point of view, paranormal romance. The story starts off in the modern world, but we get an isekai situation where our female main character ends up in another world. This has omegaverse heat, scents, biting claims, and nests but no designations or packs. Takes a bit for the spice to start (though the tension is there from the get go), but once it does it packs a punch. There is sad history, a bit of peril, unexpected drama, but mostly relationship and worldbuilding with some humor and heart. I look forward to reading the next book.

This story surprised me. Hoping other side people will get their own story. I couldn't put the book down. It definitely tugged on my heartstrings.
