This was a highly readable and very fun story. Very addictive reading.

I got the impression that as travis doesn't hard sell his content much on his YouTube channel, maybe he is not quite 'there' yet with his writing. But that is definitely not the case. In terms of writing quality this is definitely up there with other best selling popular fiction writers. You won't be that aware of the words on the page as you are just pulled into the story.

Highly recommended if you want a quick easy fun goofy read, are a fan of horror and like fluffy pets - I will definitely be buying more books from this author.

If I had to give one bit of feedback it I would say that Chupie is a bit of a Gary Stu, but it didn't matter as it was just a quick fun read

This is the first work of Travis Mcbee that I've read, I didn't know what to expect of a thriller book written about a guinea pig but I was impressed!

The description was very nice, Chupie was adorable in most parts of the story and really made me miss having guinea pigs... you can tell the author knows his pigs. There was one mistake that of threw me off, which was in location 257 I think of the kindle edition. When Ashley is leading Jack into the apartment after he discards the first dead animal. "'is it gone,' Ashley asked" it was actually Sandy saying this line, from what I understand, but the tag attributes it to Ashley.

Other than that I was impressed by the story, it kept me guessing until the end and the finish was strong.

A very cute story. Had to admit I was getting worried there for a min I was just as suspious of Chupie as Ashley was...i mean who wouldnt jump to conclusions after walking in on any creature munching on her best friends flesh. This story reminded me of some of RL Stein's stuff but tweaked for older readers.
