Nimerigar
After Jim Wendell’s terrifying encounter with the bear in Arctodus, he visited his neighbor, Walter. The elderly gentleman kept his promise to share a story from his childhood. What is the meaning of several curious items in a living room cabinet? Jim will soon find out.
In the mid-1900s, four young Shoshone boys fled the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming to avoid capture by white men. If caught, they would have been forced into boarding schools to learn the English language and assimilate into a strange and foreign way of life.
Cameahwait, Pinquana, Tondzaosha, and Wirasuap planned to get away and rebuild their Shoshone nation within an isolated basin in the Wind River Mountain Range. After reaching a picturesque setting with a lush landscape and abundant wildlife, the boys were hopeful about their new lives and reuniting with their families.
But the foursome is oblivious to the sinister creatures who lurk in these mountains. Something evil will defend its territory from these young intruders. And they must eat.

When L.J. was old enough to read (compelling stories, anyway), authors like Stephen King and Clive Barker filled her head with haunting images, sparking her need to write and create books.
During high school, and unlike her classmates, L.J. turned in pieces about werewolves, the plague, and other terrifying themes. Much to her delight, the creative writing teacher willingly accepted them with a broad smile (she later admitted to loving them).
Adulthood halted any dreams of writing. Work, marriage, family, and friends became a priority. Now older (and wiser, maybe?) with more free time, L.J. has revisited the dream of writing, completing her first novel, Dirus, in only three months. She now publishes her work on Amazon's Kindle Vella platform and Ream, with plans to release many more books worldwide.

This isolated location, surrounded by the eerie and nightly yip of coyotes, inspires and drives her love of writing horror stories. Native American legend about mysterious cave dwelling proto-humans, believed to be violent and cannibalistic. A device to scare misbehaving youths? Or can this isolated undocumented species be real?
Four Indian boys escape life on the reservation to return to their familiar environment. Peril and defeat follow them on their journey. Only a moccasin, a feather, and a toy drum remain.
It’s a creepy little tale about a far-fetched (but intriguing) population of Pygmy savages in the Americas.

A good and tragic story
I enjoyed the characters and the author made the boys and their tragedy. We really do not know everything in this world, the mystery and horrors. I am glad that I don't. Very well written making the reader feel the fright and pain of the characters.

Legends of a hidden tribe
Walter and three of his fellow Native American youth are on the run from the reservation. They choose to live as their ancestors had rather than to have their culture taken away.

A very horrifying story
The story is about 4 young boys having to live on there own because the white man were taking all children to placed into white schools. The boys went to the mountains to fined a new place for their people to live. There while they were sleeping the little people came. A very well written horror story.

Review of this book.
This was an exceptional book. I had no idea how young Walter was while reading the book. His age was not revealed until close to the end of the book. It was amazing that he survived. The author did an excellent job of writing this book.

Very interesting little side story based off of a character from Arctodus and his past dealing with cannibalistic beings known as Nimerigar.

This was a nice novella about Native American boys, dealing with a cannibalistic tribe of pygmy people. There’s not really any twist and turns here pretty straightforward, but I thought it was well written. Worth a quick read if you like this type of plot.
