I always think of Tales from the Hood when I read Linette's work. Her stories are violent, crazy, and intense.
This poor baby watched his parents be unalived, now he's walking around quiet and watching. Just waiting for him and his new imaginary friend to get revenge.

Something with this book didn’t click for me. I wanted to like this because I love supporting black indie authors especially in the horror/ suspense space. Maybe I had high expectations from reading Mr. Dixon. I had to see it thru and 12 days later I’m done.

Oh my god what a great read by Lynette king. This is my 1st book I've read by this author and I'm already hooked. It had me going right up until the end. OMG!!!! very nice. Definitely more reading to come in the future.
