Morelle
Finally she wakes up. This is another great beginning story for another couple. Watching the relationship develop between Brandon and Morelle was fun to read. Jasmine is transitioning and Ell-rom is beside himself until Morelle is finally there. Some side stories with Rob and Peter are great to see develop and more work for the clan. This series is such fun to read. Can't wait for the next one.

Get ready for some twists!
Morelle, Ell-rom’s twin, the other lost half-god, half-Kra-ell hybrid, is coming out of stasis, but not before she learns some very interesting things about what has happened while she’s been unconscious. And it’s no ordinary source: it’s someone from across the veil. Brandon finally gets to take a break from Hollywood and find a true life story that is pretty unbelievable, to humans at least.
This twin is definitely not a girl version of her brother. She’s less a reflection in the mirror and more yang to her brother’s yin. Not that she’s all bad, she’s just much more complicated than Ell-rom. Which I think is very exciting.
And speaking of complicated, little miss Drova, Kra-ell youngster and dark prankster, is both sorry/not sorry for using thralling on the three teens, and is still feeling her rebellious oats. Will she find a connection with Morelle and continue to pursue her dreams of Kra-ell separation from the clan?
Meanwhile Peter and Marina keep sliding closer to their wedding and has Rob, Margo’s brother finally caught the eye of an Immortal? And can he get past her old-fashioned name?
One thing for certain is that Morelle is down with the clan’s plans to liberate women from oppression. Will the wonder twin powers reveal themselves as the Guardians go hunting for the bad guys? I can’t wait to find out in the next book!!!

The sleeping beauty finally awakens! Can't wait to see what secrets she holds. At current, it seems her main concern is protecting Ell-rom's not so secret secret.

Mr Rod has become quite the hot commodity! I love the Gertude and Rob match (hope it works out🤞🏾! We need more clan babies!)
There are a few immortals that are long overdue for a love match for me. Gertrude was one. Max and Ingrid are another 2 that always get close but no cigar.

Morelle is Finally Awake
So Morelle had finally awaken from her 7,000 years of slumber to a brand new world and a mysterious man named Brandon, who talks to her about everything, and boy can he talk. Brand has been a passing character in this series. Don't know much about him other than he's a council member, and works in Hollywood. Now he's fascinated by his princess and she is fascinated by him, even after she wakes up. It does seem that Morelle has homicidal tendencies, which I think Brandon suspects and hopefully can help her curb them or channel into another direction. Ell-Rom is definitely glad to have his sister awake given that she is all he's had up until he woke up and met Jasmine. Now as Morelle and Brandon begin to embark on their adventure and whatever else goes on with the clan, and something is always going on making Kian's blood pressure pop, wait until he finds out about Morelle's power.... That should give him a stoke. I enjoy this series, I get a good laugh everytime I read it, except for Peter and Marina who's story I can do without. What I don't get is why the clan feels the need to get involved with child trafficking? They can't put a dent in human trafficking so what makes them think they can solve this problem??? The need to do something is endearing but something even they can't fix. That would truly be a fictional tale if they did.

Dark Princess: Shadows, by I.T. Lucas, part of The Children of the Gods series, follows Morelle as she awakens from a long stasis, enticed by Brandon her storytelling stranger and a vision of her mother telling her that she needs to wake and live. Her twin, Ell-rom, is overjoyed, but with Jasmine transitioning, his time with Morelle is limited. Brandon steps in to show her around, provide essentials, and cater to her desires. Meanwhile, Peter and Marina's wedding preparations advance, with Marina's gown fitting and Amanda planning the party.
This was a delightful read! Seems that we have been waiting for Morelle to wake for so long, now we can learn about the twins history.

Morelle's awakening!!
Great next installment of the series!! I love that the Clay's most eligible bachelor is involved in this one. Elle-Rom finally got himself together and now his sister is coming into her own rather quickly. I only have one complaint and that is the story ends at 89% on my Kindle because of all the re-read of storyline from the collection. I want more but they are coming out faster for release day so I guess I will have to wait a few weeks for the next one to get more of Morelle's storyline. Still love the series and sooooo happy we are hearing some talk of Khiann again! He needs to turn up for Annani's sake.

The princess finally awakens due to the constant talking of someone by her side. Since her body has been able to heal while in stasis her recovery is much faster. She learns of her new family and the community. But does she have some great power that she is hiding? Or is she just afraid that they may find out about her brother’s terrible power? Jasmine has yet to awaken from transition. And can the other gods finally be able to move into the village? Will the experiment work? So many questions to be answered.

Beautifully written
Another chapter to the Children of the Gods continuing story. A great blend of new and previously known characters. Each one feels so real with believable personalities. This story has Morelle waking up and dealing with her new surroundings with a sister and relatives she never knew she had. It remains to be seen if she is as good as her brother or if her awakening powers are more sinister. As always, I can't wait for the next one.

Merelle has finally woken up
Brandon has sat beside her bed for days relegating stories about the past and present , while Merelle is fighting her way through her stasis. Once she is a wake she shows her strength and vulnerability. Having a welcoming she never expected and her twin brother already awake and a sister she never expected. Love this series but….
At this point we just want to read this series because of the characters, pls do not use Peter and Marina only for the spice content. Nothing new is happening, she is not transitioning, it’s like an extended epilogue and are being used only for the spice content of the book. If Marina is not transitioning then pls don’t use them like this. I honestly feel sad for Marina. She loves Peter but as a human she will age and Peter will be left alone.
At this point we just want to read this series because of the characters, pls do not use Peter and Marina only for the spice content. Always Amazing
I am once again not surprised that our fabulous authoress has gifted us with a wonderful book. I love how each pairing truly becomes a perfect match. I also love the fact that we are passed the men wanting the women to be all but subjugated to them. I almost hated Kian as a love interest until he started to evolve more. Men who love strong women and want them to stay strong are amazing imo.

Another excellent continuation in the series. Learning more about Elkton and Morell. Kian, Brandon, Sissy and Anna I play roles here as well. As Jasmine transitions, we see more of the developing relationship between Morell and Brandon. Jade has continued difficulties with Drova, plans need put in place to deal with her new found abilities.
We also see more into the clan's work against traffickers.

Dark Princess: Shadows
Morelle has awaken from the forced stasis and because the medical staff knew about the status of EL-Ron, they were able to bring technology and other means to assist Morelle in her recovery. She is now becoming a formidable person in the Clan and although I don’t suspect she will vie for power, her birthright places both of the twins in leadership positions.

Loved it! Finished it in 2 days. Morelle's character is so much more interesting to read about than her brother, and honestly, the break from Jasmine's story has been amazing. Reading about all the characters and their subplots in this book was back to how I felt about the other earlier books. I was excited to see the development to all their stories. Really hoping the next book continues to focus on these characters, and El-Rom and Jasmine get relegated to background characters.

Excellent
This book has brought back some of the suspense from before. I enjoy all aspects of this series, including the romance, but I really like the tension building toward an encounter with the "bad guys" . The characters remain interesting even though this series has 89 books already. I just wish the books would be available more often.

excellent book
I have enjoyed every one of these books. This one has been even better. I like that it encompasses so many of the characters through the book; not just the one couple and a few chapters from one or 2 others. Love seeing ELL-ROM and Morelle start to rebuild their relationship after so long.

Moving quickly
This book, centering in Morelle, moves quickly. She has an interesting experience while in stasis that I believe might actually be a gift/talent/ability, as of right now, and maybe she needs to get with Bhathian’s daughter?
As suspected, she is very protective of Ell-rom.

Good
Another good book. It has been fascinating seeing Morelle wake up and learning more about their story on Annumati. I am glad that they are finally connecting the dots that Syssi’s vision was about Jasmine’s mother. That is what I have suspected all along. Looking forward to the next book

Very similar to the Prince The Princess is awoken by listening to her storyteller listening to a voice that floated around her but that anchored her to him.
After a visit from they're mother She made an extra effort to wake up to be there for her brother but more than anything to see with her own eyes her storyteller.

I have read every one and the companion series. So well presented. Sexy and hot. Ok. It’s predictable. But I love the characters. I admit I don’t remember all of them.
