Okay start

The way the book is written, it seems incomplete. The author talked about a couple of the offensive positions, but then when they named specific people later on, they played positions that were not described earlier in the book. The section about the historical and amazing plays was on point, but the current and historical well known players was lacking and seemed east coast bias. There were some better players to mention that had a bigger impact in the game of football than some mentioned.
It also threw me off when it talked about how to review this book before the conclusion. It seemed out of place.
Yes, this is simple for kids, but there are many adults who do not know about football that will read this for a quick run down of positions and famous players. Just something to keep in mind for books like this.
