Keatyn’s crazy life comes together in one perfect script in this special combined addition of the first three books in The Keatyn Chronicles.
Book 1 - Stalk Me Keatyn’s life is following the script she wrote for the perfect high school experience. She's popular, goes to the best parties, dates the hottest guy, and sits at the most-coveted lunch table. But she’s thinking about giving it all up to date an adorable surfer. So she writes a new script. One where all the pieces of her life come together in perfect harmony. But little does she know, there's someone who will do anything to make sure that doesn't happen.
Book 2 - Kiss Me Keatyn’s always written scripts for her perfect life. But she never would have scripted this. She’s now at a boarding school, where she has new challenges to face. Like tutoring a hottie god that tortures her with his smile. And having the most popular girl hate her because of a guy. So she’s decided to stop trying to script her life and just live it. Because who knows how long she has left.
Book 3 - Date Me Keatyn’s giving up scripting her life. Sort of. She’s done with the God of all Hotties. She’s going to give her heart to the boy whose kisses are hotter than molten lava and who asked her to Homecoming in a big, crazy way. Because there’s so much to look forward to. Parties at the Cave. Homecoming festivities. Drama Tryouts. Shopping trips to NY. But things aren’t as perfect as they seem. She knows he’s still out there and getting more desperate. And even though she wants to pretend she’ll never see him again, she knows she will. And she’s afraid that this time, she might not get away.

Book one finished - actual rating 3.5 stars. This book was hugely entertaining and it had me laughing out loud at the absurdity of it. I had literary whiplash keeping up with Keatyn's changing feelings over the boys, but, you know what, I think it captured those teenage hormonally-fueled decisions and the enormous indecision as you are struggling to find your identity and your place in the world. It's over the top drama and sexualization and all the conversations with her parents and their friends were totally unrealistic but I just laughed my ass off because I think the author wants you to take it tongue-in-cheek, so I did. Cush was great until he acted like an asshole, but, I forgave him. I blew hot and cold on Brooklyn - I did want them together at the start, and part of me is still hoping he's her forever love, but he frustrated the hell out of me in this one because he did string her along and it wasn't fair. Ultimately, I feel he's too mature for Keatyn, and also not ready for a committed relationship. She's still got a lot of growing up to do, and her behavior and inner monologue had me tearing my hair out at times. The writing is decent and the little scripts were fun. The reason this isn't rated higher is because the plot was so weak and there were holes and it took all of two seconds to figure out who the stalker was. For a movie star's daughter, Keatyn was ridiculously naive and quite juvenile at time. Loved the change of scenery at the end and new hot boys to drool over (I'm totally shallow like that.) Despite my issues with the plot, it was a hoot reading this book and I'm glad I bought this box set so I can get stuck into the next book. Overall, a decent start to a fun, light-hearted, entertaining series.
Book 2 - Loved the change of scenery in this one and the introduction to Dawson, Riley, Dallas, and the God of all hotties, Aidan. Keatyn is very indecisive at the start and it wasn't cool that she was dancing and flirting wtih Aidan while having sex with Dawes. I totally buy the fact that you can have feelings for different boys at the same time, especially as a teenager, but acting on those feelings is another matter entirely. And, B is majorly in my bad books now - how could he do that to her? I wanted to strangle him. I thought he was going to end up her forever love and now I'm hoping he doesn't cos he's a total jackass. Loving her and Dawson and hoping they last the difference even though Aidan is totally swoon worthy. 4 stars
Book 3 - I was glad when Keatyn made a decision, drew a line on what was and wasn't appropriate, and became a couple with Dawes. I was really loving how amazing he was for her until the end - WTF? I wanted to jump into my Kindle and throttle him and give her a big hug. The stalker plotline is weak and very much secondary and I wish it was better developed because I don't feel the fear or tension. Character development was good in this one, especially with Keatyn and Aidan, and I love how she's besties with Dallas and Riley - they are a great team. I'm invested in this series because of the romance. I love that there are several love interests once it doesn't cross a line. And I loved that ending. Seriously, Keatyn is so dense that she didn't realize that. Really hoping she ditches D and starts dating Aidan in the next book. Dawson doesn't deserve to be forgiven. 4 stars.
I don't know what I was expecting in this book, exactly, but the character of Keatyn is the very epitome of "slutty b&$#@". She's everything I hated about girls in high school and she's beyond superficial. Why is she so fantastic when she kisses half a dozen different guys in her first week at boarding school? And all the guys want her, she's got the perfect body and she knows it, and she's a stinking spoiled brat.
Basically, books like this tell girls it's okay to sleep with a bunch of different guys, cuz sex is awesome. And it's okay to sleep with someone you're not in love with.
The truth is: Relationships are not about hormones.
Maybe the character matures as the series progresses, but I'm having such a difficult time getting through this book with very underdeveloped characters. An overused descriptor is that everyone around her is sooooo "hot". Yes, shallow characters throughout.
Don't waste your time unless you love reading child pornography about faux famous people with no dimension to them.
Update at 59%:
it keeps getting worse. If not for my OCD need to finish every book I start, I would have given up a long time ago.
She sits around and brags to her friends about sex and her friends respond with "so you'll do naked sex things with him, but you won't date him. You must really like him." I wish I could say this statement was filled with sarcasm, but it wasn't. The very next line is Keatyn admitting she does really like him, but can't fall in love. So, ultimately what this shallow girl REALLY likes is sex, not the guy. What kind of sense does "I like him enough for sex, but nothing more" make?
If this is truly today's teen girl attitude on sex and relationships, no wonder so many are getting pregnant, getting STDs, and never really feeling like they are worth anything. I feel really sorry for teen girls that will base their self-worth on sex. They need to know that there is so much more to them!!
You don't have to let your hormones control you- that's not thinking with your head, as Keatyn's former BF encouraged her to do. Caring about someone doesn't necessarily mean you're only thinking with your heart, but letting sex define the relationship is not thinking with your head or heart. What happens if you give yourself to a guy physically and he breaks your heart because that's all he was after? That's a far more realistic scenario.

First off I love Jillian foods style of writing. She has made me feel like I am right along side the characters. I know these are teen books but they deal with a lot of issues like bullying, fitting in, bad break ups and finally the main topic stalking, which can happen to anyone. 5 stars for these first three books.
I don't think I read the whole story here, but what I did read didn't work for me at all. I did like the format effort-- if an actual story been told amongst the journal entries. I had to go back to read the blurb to figure out what the story was even supposed to be about. Again, this may be a problem of not getting all the books.
What I did read, was basically a rich high school/college aged girl's diary of things she did-with huge swathes of detail left out so it was kind of hard to follow. Here's what I got out of it-she went to class and worked on projects, blah blah, she knew lots of people with no back story or connecting details blah blah, she had lots of designer clothes blah blah, she did lots of partying and had lots of sex, blah blah, something happened to her that would have made this into an actual story, but there were no details shared--so to me it wasn't really a story. If you like reading lists of what people do, this is the book for you--if you want an actual story...find something else.
This trilogy took me where I wasn’t expecting it to take me. First you have a crazy stalker stalking a 17 year old girl cause she looks like her mom. Then you have all these gorgeous looking boys from the gay boyfriend, Sanford to the one that really loves her, Aiden. The thing is Keatyn doesn’t realize that she is falling in love with Aiden and that he has been there for her at every turn since she arrived at Eastbrooke. I’m hoping the next set of books gives me more insight into Keatyn’s life. Of course the thing is she is missing her mom, a famous actress and her four little sisters. Then you throw in her moms significant other, Tommy, who tells her what to expect from boys when she asks. I love her two best friends Dallas and Riley cause they make me laugh with their antics from day one. Then there is her girlfriends that make it all worth while in enjoying a book about teenage angst.
Th first book is awful. Almost painful to sit through. I felt like the very end of book one was potentially setting up for something better, so I read on.
Book two was slightly better. An actual plot that was somewhat interesting and characters that I didn’t hate. I really didn’t like Keatyn in book one. But by book three I almost liked her.
I can’t say I’ll read these again, and I won’t continue reading, but I was pleasantly surprised with how the story progressed. It’s definitely not a five star read and it didn’t quite hold my attention, but it did get better.
I absolutely love Keatyn. She's just such a strong, sassy and kind character. Jillian really did a wonderful job writing the Keatyn Chronicles. I don't always like a series with more than maybe 6 books at the most, however, I was so glad that this story was well thought out and the characters had more to them than face value. I'd have to say that Whitney and Dallas were my all-time favorites though. These books are for anyone who loves YA, Teen Romance, spy-ish aspects and making lifelong friends.
This is the first 3 books in the Keatyn chronicles. You will get to meet Keatyn and be taken along on the adventure of her life in these books. The story is full of laughter, drama, and suspense. The story will keep your attention although out the pages and you won't want to put the story down. Can't wait to see how the story will continue.
Oh Keatyn how the readers fall in love with you. I love how dynamic the characters are in this story. I want to go to boarding school! Add in call the crazy boys and you really can’t put down these books til the end of the series!
I started book 1 and I could not put it down. There is friendship, love, suspense, some spice, so much that gets you hooked. This is a must read series
These books were not a typical read for me. This entailed a different type of story line which was refreshing. It had a little of the smut that I’m used to but also a good story line as well.
I received this three book collection as a prize from one of my authors, BC Burgess. I had seen comments on various sites about this author and series, so I was excited to see what all the hype was about. And let me tell you, I was far from disappointed!!
Keatyn is every high school girl's dream. She's funny, popular (although not always in a good way), lovable, sweet, tough, oh you get the picture. And she's rich & famous to boot!! While I'm not usually into teen-themed stories, this series breaks the mold. The sex is hot, but raunchy; the drama is as expected but not over done. Even the antagonist is thoroughly enjoyable.
This series has it all!! Love, romance, action...all the things you want in a quality series!! If you've been on the fence about The Keatyn Chronicles, get off your ass and dive in!! You'll love the adventure as much as I have so far!!
Now I'm off to see what's in store for Keatyn & Aiden!! Ta for now!!
So I didnt read this whole book 1-3 this go around I was on book 3 and finished here. So I love love love these characters, this story was amazing. I love how easy this was to read. Its extremely fast paced. Heart racing, but parts are really sweet. Your emotions are literally up and down. I love how the characters come to life on the pages. It just an awesome story. I cannot wait to see what happens to these characters. There are parts that drive me crazy. Because some of it doesnt seem realistic. But this is a work of fiction and it doesnt have to be real. I dunno I just keep telling myself that. You should really read this series. Its so so good.
This series is one of those that will get you blood boiling. Keats story is one that will make you laugh, cry, scream, and make you so mad you just want to grab a hold of some of the character's and strangle them. You are going to fall in love with most of the character's. There are going to be times when you just want to reach in and slap them. I so can't wait to get the rest of the books that go with this series and see just how Keats story ends. This is a must read set of books.
Honestly, the book was semi interesting, but when I did some digging, because I wanted to know if at the end of the three part book whether it'd be over, I come to find out there are like 8 books about Keatyn and she has numerous love affairs. Ok eventually she gets a HEA but I just don't have time to read 6 books about a superficial slutty bitch....maybe if I was in high school this would have worked for me...
This is one I just had to put down. I love YA books, but there was something about these that turned me off. I can't really put my feelings into words other than it felt very immature. I get that Keatyn is in high school but I've read many many other books that had characters were in high school or even younger, and had no problem liking the books. I just know I couldn't finish this book/series and have absolutely no desire to try again.
This is a must read collection of books. This collection of books features the first three books of The Keatyn Chronicles. This series follows a rich girl who you could classify as the high school mean girl. You find out throughout the books that there is a lot more depth to Keatyn. Everyone no matter how old you are needs to give this book a shot and read it.
This is the story of Keatyn Douglas who is the daughter of a famous actress, deceased male model and step daughter to and action star. Her life is like a soap opera mixed with an action movie. There are hot cars and guys, drama, romantic geastures, and lots of action. This series is highly addicting. The storyline will definitely have you hooked and eagerly reaching for the next book.
