Are you kidding me?! For a debut author, Tiffany Noel slammed this one way out of the park; it was amazing! I’m super picky about writing style when it comes to the books I read, and I was absolutely SHOOK at how amazing Tiffany’s writing style was! Her plot was super entertaining and made for such an adorable story 🧡 I’m not normally a fan of the friends-to-lovers trope, but Tiffany did this one so well that I didn’t even mind it!
Kasey and Dean have been inseparable friends for years, doing everything together. Kasey has been in love with him for almost their entire friendship, but Dean doesn’t want anything to change between them. After a freak accident, our MMC loses his past year of memories and, after a nosy sister says something she shouldn’t have, Kasey and Dean begin to date. Will Dean get his memories back and choose to stay with Kasey, or will he be too upset that she chose to lie to him in order to date him?
I absolutely adored the friend group in this book! Ro and Hazel were such great besties to Kasey 🧡

As a debut novel, this book was readable, it was neither especially good nor bad. Given the amnesia storyline, I was expecting a more emotional story, maybe even something a bit heartbreaking, but it didn’t quite hit those deeper notes. I think the story would have benefitted from telling more of the characters' lives after the memories returned. But well overall, it’s still a solid start for a first novel.

This book is so so so good!! I loved going on this journey of vulnerability and honesty with Kasey and Dean, their friendship is so sweet and it just gets better as more romance is added in;) The pottery scene? Are you joking?? The flour fight? So many swoony moments I could die!!
I fell in love with all of the characters, especially Grandpa Whiting🥹 He is hilarious and so sweet. Dean is a dummy head for not sweeping Kasey off her feet way before this, but it's so rewarding in the end;) Would recommend!!

Okay friends! This was such a cute book!
A couple months ago, I had the privilege of meeting Tiffany in person at the Regency Retreat ball, and let me just tell y'all - she is a delight. And then I found out she had written a book. I knew it was going to be a good one, because how could it not be with an author as delightful as her?
Now that I've read The Season of Falling, I can confirm - this book was just as good as I thought it would be. It has all the makings of a great story - a best friends to lovers romance, lovable main characters that you can't help but cheer for, awesome side characters (who I would dearly love to see get stories of their own), great character growth, a hike with a game of hide and seek and a cave, the swooniest kisses, the sweetest romance.....what is there not to love here??
If this book isn't on your TBR list already, it needs to be. This is one you won't want to miss. I have spoken.

Looking for a cute, clean romance that has you swooning? This book is for you! From the moment I finished the first chapter I was hooked. If you are a fan of the movie "While you were sleeping" you'll love this! Tiffany Noel will have you falling in love with the storyline as well as the characters. Definitely would read again❤️

This sweet story was such a delight and a surprise for being a debut novel. Tiffany did so well at crafting her characters and making them believable with real-world problems and issues and insecurities.
There were so many swoony moments. The cave scene, she wears his clothes, the pottery lesson. Dean is full of romantic ideas.
This tender story isn't just about the romance, though that is a key part. It also teaches a valuable lesson in honesty and learning to be able to take risks as well. I was a bit nervous about how it was going to turn out in the end, but was ecstatic with the way the story turned out and how everything was resolved.
While there was a little humor, I would consider this more on the side of contemporary, than rom-com. But that didn't detract from the beauty of the story and I still enjoyed Kasey and Dean's journey to discovering their love for each other. I definitely recommend this debut novel. And if you enjoy it, Tiffany let me know this is book 1 of the series. I look forward to more from Tiffany, the author.

This was cute, and it was great read for autumn. Kasey and Dean are best friends. When Kasey floats the idea of them dating, Dean shuts it down pretty quickly. But after a bike accident in which Dean gets amnesia, Kasey's sister tells Kasey's friends that they're dating. Kasey ends up going along with it. Thank goodness for the romance genre, where you know you're going to get an HEA, because I don't know that could've handled knowing trouble was coming without knowing a happy ending was also on its way.
It could've benefitted from a proofread. There were lots of little things that took me out of the story a bit.

AMAZING READ!!! I loved this book! It is an easy read with characters you will fall in love with! Each page is filled with little quips and details leading you to feel like you are there in the moment! Such a cute love story that had me rooting for the couple and possibly shedding some tears at some points!

This was such a cute book! It was clean and well written and was so good, I read it all in one sitting! Tiffany did a great job and this has easily become one of my favorite books. I was a bit scared about a friends to lovers story, but I had nothing to worry about with this one. I fell in love with the characters and their personalities. This was a perfect, cozy, fall read! Well done Tiffany!!

I will preface this by saying, I knew the storyline..but there were some things in the story that I had no idea would trigger me...not in a bad way...but I cried a lot while reading the book.

This was a Dual POV story, which I loved and I just loved their friends and family so much. You truly felt like you were there with the characters and you could easily see any of them being your friend, family or neighbor. Of course after the first couple of chapters, you know how in denial Dean is and you are rooting for Kasey to take advantage of that amnesia. Dean is the best guy and absolutely adores Kasey. He treats her so well, even when he isn't sure what is going on. I absolutely adored it and Tiffany did a great job with her debut novel! I'm so pleased I got to read it!

This was such a cute story!! I’ve always been a sucker for friends-to-lovers books, and combined with the “While You Were Sleeping” twist on fake dating, this was an amazing debut novel 😍

But when he gets into an accident that leaves him with no memory of the last year, Kasey’s sister convinces everyone that Kasey and Dean had just started dating.

Kasey & Dean have been best friends for years & Kasey has been in love with Dean almost as long. But Dean doesn’t want to ruin their friendship by dating. After a freak accident Dean ends up in the hospital with some memory loss. Kasey’s sister comes up with a scheme to get Kasey’s happily ever after. She convinces everyone that Kasey & Dean have just recently started dating & so the dating debacle begins. Kasey isn’t sure if this is such a great idea but she can’t resist dating Dean & seeing where their relationship goes but what happens when he gets his memories back?

I loved this book! My reading time is a testament to Tiffany’s ability to lock the reader in to a plot and keep them there. I was so invested in what happened in the main storyline, and at all times I needed to know what happened next.
This book had me giggling and kicking my feet at all the right moments while pulling me back to “reality” with sobering sub-plot lines that reminded me that love isn’t always like a fairy tale.
As a debut book, I believe Tiffany hit it out of the park. Since I prefer more “show, don’t tell” styles of storytelling, reading this book was almost like sitting on FaceTime with a friend, listening to them dish out all the crazy details of their love life.
What a great start to this author’s writing career! I cannot wait to read her next one!

Such a cute fall read. The characters are so fun and relatable. I was wishing that I could have some of this in my real life. The interactions of the main two characters made me swoon and be envious of a fictional relationship.
I loved all the different relationships that were in the story. You had sisters, friends, grandfather and granddaughters, daughters and dad's, etc. And they all felt real.

This is an adorable debut book! Kasey and Dean bring all the feels and both MCs show great character growth over the course of the story. Tiffany excels at really pulling the reader in with her vivid descriptions (just kill me with the food descriptions already!) but I loved how easily she brought the feeling of Fall to the page and really took me to the northeast. The romance is cute and sweet, a perfect cozy read.

This was a really cute book! We are introduced to Kasey and Dean, best friends who are constantly asked if they are a couple (and their friend group). Dean is adamant he won’t risk their friendship. When Dean gets into an accident, he has short-term amnesia and can’t remember anything for the past year. Kasey ends up using this opportunity to see what it would be like if Dean was in love with her. Amnesia storylines are something I avoid, but this one was really sweet. When his memories come back, he had a realistic reaction and they actually have a conversation. I cannot wait to read a book 2!
