He made her feel electric. Like volts of energy fizzled through her veins, racing, constantly stimulating. It was intoxicating and thrilling. And for the first time in her life, she felt truly alive.
When prim and efficient Kate Kennedy is hired on as Lucas Branford's temporary assistant, her no-nonsense attitude and blatant dismissal of his advances sparks a challenge he simply can’t resist. But Luke has demons of his own and a tragedy that happened years ago continues to haunt him. Once lines are crossed and rules are broken, will past secrets keep them apart…or bind them closer together?
ELECTRIC is about LUKE & KATE . Luke is this "ONE NIGHT ONLY KIND OF GUY" until he sees Kate at the coffee shop. There's something about her that fascinates him..and for the first time in his life he is too "shy" to ask a woman out.
What he doesn't know is that Kate is also attracted to him.
When he finally mans up and decides to take the chance to talk to her, he screws it up royally. But fate has its own way and Kate ends up being his temporary assistant. And this is where the fun begins...
I really liked this book. It was sweet & steamy and had just the right amount of drama and angst. Emilia Winters has become an "1- click" author for me. Her writing style is simply beautiful.
The H is totally smitten with the h since he saw her for the first time in a coffeehouse. He stalks her there everyday. And then he gets the surprise of his life when she is appointed as his temp. He tries to pursue her but she is always hesitant. There encounters always ends up in he saying something which she misunderstands and then she getting away from him.
Honestly, I enjoyed their interactions. Lol. Kate was always hot and bothered and trying to act like he didn’t matter and Luke was all flirty and controlling with her. It was fun.
But beware if you don’t like guys who are quite pushy and controlling. Because Luke is too much relentless when it comes to Kate.
There is no ow drama here. After finally meeting the h, he has eyes only for her. There’s no one other than the h for him and he is very possessive of her. He was obviously a player before but after meeting the h, she is it for him.
“See you at seven, sweet,” “Go to hell, Luke.”
This convo very much defines how their relationship is.
This is a 4 star read but I ended up giving 3 stars. And that’s because the book becomes quite snoozy in the middle part. So I took away 1 star. But I enjoyed this book. I’m surely excited to read about Alex and Adam, Luke’s buddies.
So...Well...I don't know. I was expecting so much more of a book with a 4.13 rating in Goodreads. This book was average! No, it won't drive you crazy because the hero/heroine are completely nuts, or doormats or cheating asses... But I didn't feel the chemistry, the attraction.
This is an instant attraction kind of story. The hero, described as a player, has spent 3 weeks watching the heroine without finding the courage to go and talk to her (yes, I know...thaaaaaaat really screams player!). The day he finally does, she puts a stop into it. Because, duh... she can see that he is a player and handsome and well..that means he can't be smart at all. Yes, she is the judgmental kind. Then...the destiny intercedes and she is call for a temp position as his assistant. And then, the worst part of the book begins. Because now I have to read over 150 pages of teenage reactions but mixed with a working relationship. He runs hot and cold, she keeps on forgetting she is working and instead behaves like an hormonal teen, annoyed when she gets attention, annoyed and wondering the reasons for it when she doesn't.
This is an example of her over reactions. After arriving at the office she starts making loud noises to announce she is there (because knocking a door and saying good morning to your boss is soooo overrated). Then the phone rings. “Good morning, Mr. Branford.” “I need to see you.” Click. Kate gaped at the phone nestled innocently in her hand and fought the urge to slam it down into the cradle. Did he just beckon her, like some dog? And then hang up? Trying not to fume (...)
But she is not the only one. Once she is going to have a drink with her colleagues and he decides to mark her publicly (yep, he says that to himself). So 5 seconds later he is kissing her by surprise in his office (their first kiss) and marking her skin.
I read this book page after page for the first 50% of it. Then I started skipping pages. I never felt the attraction. I was told about it, it was described to me...But it just didn't reach me. I liked the parts about their families and there was some charm on it, but that's all. I don't really see how this book could get so many 4-5 stars, it leaves me wondering if we read the same book.
I'm glad I read The Fifth Lesson first, even though books in this series can be read separate. Had I read Electric first, I never would have given The Fifth Lesson a chance. Electric was truly horrible. Very poor writing style and plot line. Character development was dry as a brick. I don't think I'll be reading anymore of Emilia Winters' work, not unless somewhere down the line she brings out a book that captures my attention.

I did not finish this book because of the way the "hero" handles an attraction between him and his subordinate at work. In their first physical interaction where he kisses her : "It was the last thing she saw before his lips crashed down onto her own. Kate was momentarily stunned. And overwhelmed. Luke’s earthy, spicy scent invaded her senses making it difficult to process what was happening. And when she finally did, she struggled against him.He clasped her arms tightly to her sides to make her stop, his strength making it impossible for her to break away." What? She tried to stop his kids as which is happening at the workplace and he doesn't accept her no! In a few more moments she finally gets into the kiss but still. This squicked me out but I decided to keep reading. I threw in the towel at 30% through the book though when he demands she go on a overnight business trip with him. While he does give her an option for him to ask another assistant if isn't OK with it, she feels compelled to go because of the lure of overtime pay which she desperately needs to pay for her grandmother's care facility. They arrive on their trip and: “I plan to seduce you on this trip,” Luke declared once he and Kate buckled themselves in to their newly rented car. “I hope you realize that.” I just don't find this romantic. I don't like my romances to have even a whiff of sexual harassment so decided this wasn't the book for me.

Kate & Luke. Luke & Kate. Another fun one by Emilia!
Destiny, fate, serendipity - whatever! Has a plan for these two... Although they each do their best to deny what is going on between them. Or something akin to resistance and self-torture. It starts out simple enough, they both frequent the same coffee shop in the mornings. They're both hyper-aware of each other although attempting to pretend otherwise until one of them builds up the courage...
Kate's willful independence, pragmatic but sassy attitude and her earnest effort to stay on track is part of Luke's downfall for her. While he's busy trying to figure her out, he's just getting pulled deeper and deeper into her sweet innocence. Is she playing games with him or not?
I love that Kate could own up to her lack of 'experience' in the boudoir scenes, it made them all the more intimate and touching.
This story has lots of fun, keep you on your seat, ups & downs and a fun, playful dynamic between the two main characters.
Resume: All in all, it was ok. The style of writing was good enough that I finished the book even though I wasn't really invested. But I'm not sure whether I will read something else from this author.
Details The first impression we get of Luke in the Prologue is of him visiting his brother's grave and then planning to hook up with a woman whose name he doesn't remember. All the while looking forward to seeing another woman, who seems to be special somehow. Furthermore I had the impression that he has money, maybe because playboys in books often do or they don't have the time to chase skirts. (or to be chased by them...)
The first impression of Kate is more or less in direct opposite to Luke's - a woman of rules and habit, always organized, and used to disappointment. She temps while trying to sell a novel.
Kate is obviously the woman Luke is interested in and he sees her every day at a coffeeshop, but has problems to work up the nerve to talk to her. So he comes in every day planning to return until he manages to get her name and number.
Kate has seen him and finds him attractive, but sees first and foremost trouble when she looks at him. When he finally chats her up, she reacts badly and leaves upset.
But of course that would be a pretty short book if that were the end, so she finds herself hired as Luke's assistant the next day.
The rest of the book consists of them developing a relationship, with Luke pushing until she gives them a chance regardless of his standing as her boss and her bad experiences with men.
I had problems connecting to the characters: He made me angry when he made the first step by kissing her against her will - if someone has power over someone else, he never should make the first step, but always wait for the other one to make it. A good example where the boss acts 'right' is Rock Hard by Nalini Singh. Furthermore he thinks later about how he can use the kiss against her - a relationship (especially if one wants more than just sex) should be about wanting the best for the other and not about one's own advantage.
And her, I just can't take her serious - why doesn't she try to tell him her reasons (that this job is too important for her and that she doesn't dare to put it at risk)? And if she decides not to sleep with him, then she should keep to it and not answer to his flirtatiousness. Otherwise she should change her mind and make a different decision and stick with that. But don't just go with the flow and don't blame him when you do things you didn't want to. For most of the book she acted like a doormat.
One last thing - I hate the expression 'typical male' or 'typical female' and Kate uses it every time a connection between a technical item and a man is mentioned.
This is one of the best book I've read all year and I've read over 100 books and this book is in my top 5 so freaking amazing. I cried, laughed, and was so freaking hot I love the balance of the book. So many writers put a lot of sex but not enough emotion in the characters and then there are the books that are sappy and no sex when it says readers over 21. When I buy a book when it say you need to be an adult I want sex and Emilia Winters did so good. I felt everything Kate and Luke were feeling and when I read a book that's what I want to connect with the characters and forget everything around me disappear because I'm so invested into the characters I a book junky and I love it. Poor Kate she's been through so much and she's a independent strong woman I don't think a lot of people would have been able to deal what she was going through. Money Problems, your only family member her grandma didn't even know who she was because of her Alzheimer's how would you feel I would feel defeated but not Kate she fought trying to get jobs to pay for the care and kept writing her books no matter how many rejection letters she received. Luke is an amazing guy well not when he had his that outburst well I'm not going to tell you why read and find out it's worth it. Luke is hot, sexy, and a man-whore it's his way of letting his frustrations out instead of smoking and doing drugs. He had a big lost in his life that it affected his so much he felt it was his duty to work for his dad's company to keep it in the family regardless if he wanted to pursue his dreams. But when he walks into the coffee shop and lays on the woman who is in the back typing away with a frown and ponytail he was memorized so much he went everyday to the coffee shop at exactly 7:30 just so he can see her but didn't have the courage to talk to her. And when he does he doesn't expect what happens next (Read and find out). I can't say it enough I am in love with Emilia's writing I just bought the The Rebound Series and I will write a review for the box-set too. I will be putting Emilia on my favorite authors list on my blog JassyBooks http://jassybooks.blog.com/some-of-my... READ THIS BOOK!!!
Such a great read with an electrifying man suffering from guilt as an accident claimed a loved one nine years ago. Luke Branford just cannot let go of the grief and pain that has plagued him for years. And, so when he's highly attracted to Kate Kennedy, perhaps he'll just have some fun. Kate, though, has been hurt before and just does not know how to move past that humiliation from long ago. She thinks gorgeous Luke is a player and knows his kind all too well. But, as she gets to know Luke in the coming weeks, she may find that Luke is a decent guy and would never take advantage of her, that is until Kate digs into his past and Luke lashes out viciously.
This was a novel full of heartache and grief when loved ones were taken away so agonizingly so. Both characters were suffering tremendously. Kate had a hard time letting people in, while Luke didn't know how to move on in his life. Guilt eats a person up, and loneliness is far too sad. They both needed each other enormously to re-open their arms and embrace life while beginning to live again. Loved the character of Luke! I could tell that he had been just so huge on life at one time, but he had been painfully hurting for the past nine years. He brought tears to my eyes when he lashed out so brutally to Kate - obviously the author showing his most vulnerable side. WOW! Kate wasn't my most favorite person in the beginning. I thought she was snobby and rude. But, as the novel moves along, the reader is let in on as to why she had a hard time trusting men. So, in the end, she definitely grew on me.
One well written romance with a couple that displayed some HOT and SPICY love scenes. Whew! Kate is inexperienced, but Luke slowly and patiently takes his time teaching her what is pleasurable. And, her bad intimacy experience is permanently erased. I so will be reading Ms. Winters next installment to her "Bay Boys" series when it's due to be released in September! AWESOME beginning to a new series!
I was so happy that this book wasn’t your typical hot CEO Billionaire who falls for the poor plain Jane/sex kitten. Don’t get me wrong I love that stuff, but I was happy Emilia was able to mix it up a little.
Luke and Kate are very much attracted to each other but they don’t just jump into bed. There is a story and their relationship is built throughout the book. Both characters have been hurt through different circumstances and although they want each other, they’re hesitant to give themselves over completely.
Luke is a renowned womanizer and has no problem snaring women, yet when it comes to Kate he can’t even find the courage to talk to her. She isn’t his typical hook up and yet he is completely infatuated with her. I loved that Luke would walk into the coffee shop just to catch a glimpse of Kate and try to find the courage to make his move. But time and time again he curses himself for being too much of a coward, not realising that Kate wants him too. That made me fall in love with Luke on the spot. He was still cocky yet he had the charm and a little vulnerability to go with it.
I enjoyed the build up with these characters and the angst of things not running smoothly. Their relationship was real and believable and incredibly sweet. Luke and Kate had to confess to things that they had kept hidden and although it pulled them apart, at the same time it brought them closer together, it caused them to trust and depend on each other when neither of them found it easy.
Electric is written with dual POV which was a joy to read, I especially loved knowing what Luke was thinking and it helped to introduce the side characters.
I thoroughly enjoyed Electric and although this is the first novel by Emilia Winters I have read, it certainly won’t be my last. I am very much looking forward to continuing the series.
OMG! This was such a good read!!! I truly loved how both characters were down to earth average people making their way through life and I thank Ms. Winters sooooo much that this was not one of those billionaire meets the poor girl book!! Both characters were real and had real issues that made the book even better and guess what!! NO CLIFFHANGER!!!!
Kate is used to her routine and Luke is drawn to her for reason he does not understand and fates brings them together. It’s really funny how Luke pursues Kate and she does everything in her power to avoid him. They eventually get together and their journey begins.
Kate and Luke’s stories are heartbreaking but they make it through. There are ups and down and the story flowed well. Every event past and present that happened in the book was real which made me like the story even more. I’m anxious to read Caleb's story and I look forward to reading more from Ms. Winters!
5 out of 5 stars! Great story, great characters!!!
Received this ARC COPY for an honest review OMG ....HOT HOT HOT Electric. .more like Electrifying :-) Luke..what a MAN phew. Just loved the chemistry between Luke and Kate. Combustible. Really Kate had no chance. First of all those EYES. They just draw you in. Never have I read a story (and I have my favourites) that made me go all gooey at the description of his eyes. I kept forgetting to breathe at times. Loved the banter between them and made me smile. Sad times happen in life and wanted to hug them both for their heartache. People say things they shouldn't but grief makes you do things. After reading about Luke's friend Alex and Olivia I had to know more about Luke and Adam and Caleb. This is a 100% must have to read story. Just loved it loved it loved it loved it :-)
This was a fun and sexy 3.5-4 star read for me. Luke and Kate were really good together. They had intense chemistry and whenever they were in a room together the temperature rose. They were both very intelligent which made their banter fun and had me smiling throughout the story. But as fun as it was, the story wasn't without an emotional rollercoaster - both characters were dealing with their own personal pain and it hurt to see them go through it. The story itself was very enjoyable and I look forward to continuing on with the series so I can learn more about Luke's buddies who intrigued me.
This book was almost a DNF for me. I stopped at the "big conflict" scene and decided to just skim pretty much the rest of the book. Was hoping it would be a lot better from the description but it just did not do it for me. Hero was somehow shy around the heroine when he's a known ladies man, and they know each other so well after a few dates? Meh.
The hero was sexy beyond measure. Both characters had heartbreaking issues to deal with. The heroine was strong and independent. Both characters were very caring and loving. Loved the book. Would recommend it.
This was an interesting book about love, loss, and the baggage we carry. I liked the way destiny seemed to bring these two people together, my only drawback was the many times things went forward one step and then backwards two. The gal, Kate, flew off the handle a little too easily, but all in all, its an enjoyable read. Kate, a twenty something girl living on her own while paying for her Grandmothers nursing home, is a spitfire who does not have any friends close. Her mother died a while back, and she was raised by her grandmother. Her Grandma worked two jobs and sacrificed for her, so she feels responsible to take care of her. She secretly wants to be a romance writer, but she works for a temp agency to pay the bills while getting rejection letter after rejection letter from publishers. Although she writes romance, she has had only one sexual experience that was horrible because the guy in college was just trying to see how many women he could bag. She is a bit OCD, and her routine puts her at the local coffee shop every morning. She feels like the regulars, which she has given nicknames, are her "family". One of them, a beautiful man with blue eyes, she longs for. She even has made a character in her book to look like him. Jake is working at his family's construction firm, but he would rather be doing something else. He is a ladies man, and he is so good at picking up women that his friends call him the closer. Jake has been trying to fill his brother's spot by going to work at his dad's company because he feels responsible for Jack's death. He has punished himself for the past 9 years because he was driving when his brother died. The family has avoided talking about him and Jake is trapped with grief. His only joy right now is going to the local coffee shop so he can see the pretty girl who is always there. Normally a suave guy, he cannot seem to find the guts to talk to her. When he finally does talk to her, he says something wrong and she figures he is just like the jerk from college. He is so drawn to her, he will keep trying to get her. Kate is fretting because her bills are so big, and the temp jobs so few, she is getting desperate. Just when she is thinking about working at the coffee shop, her temp agency calls with a great two month job. Little does she know that it is working for Jake. And then the story takes off! They face tons of challenges, and both of them go back and forth. Can Kate give Jake the benefit of the doubt? Or will his sex life come back to bite him in the ass? Will he be able to open up to Kate and tell her about his brother? What about the fact that he is her boss? What will his dad say about them? And when tragedy strikes Kate, what will she do now that everyone in her family is gone? Can she trust in a man? Can Jake live the life he wants and not the life he feels he has to? Grab this read and check it out! I am looking forward to the next book in the series to see what happens to Jake's friend.

“Luke desired her more than he’d ever desired another woman. And he intended to have her. Consequences be damned.”
Lucas Branford is haunted by a past tragedy. He blames himself and has lived his life accordingly trying to atone for his past mistake. In spite of being a practiced womaniser and king of hook-ups, he has developed a slight obsession with the serious girl who sits at the same table in the local coffee shop. He’s been going to the same shop, every morning for weeks, but has failed to work up the courage to approach her and ask her out on a date. He’s not sure what it is about her, but he wants her. When he finally gets his chance, he completely mucks it up.
“He made her feel electric. Like volts of energy fizzled through her veins, racing, constantly stimulating. It was intoxicating and thrilling. And for the first time in her life, she felt truly alive.”
Kate Kennedy is an aspiring romance writer, struggling to make ends meet. Her only living relative is her grandma, who is in an advanced stage of Alzheimer’s and living in a care home. When she lands a well-paid temping role, she grabs it with both hands. However, she’s horrified to discover that her new boss is Mr Electric Blue Eyes from the coffee shop who tried to pick her up.
Having been burnt by a player at college, Kate tries to keep Luke at arm’s length, but he is persistent and determined to have her and explore the obvious spark between them.
Kate is a strong, independent, and capable woman, but her distrust of men and her responsibility towards her grandma meant that she’s never been in a proper relationship. Although she fights really hard against her attraction to Luke, his patent attraction and desire for her breaks down her walls, and she starts to let him in. Luke was extremely flirtatious and upfront about his desire for Kate. His genuine feelings for her flummoxed him, I think, but he was willing to explore more with her and, as a result, he’s happier than he’s ever been in a very long time. However, his reluctance to tell her about the tragedy in his past becomes an elephant in the room whenever they’re together. In spite of his playboy ways and façade, he is a man of great intellect and depth, and has put his own personal happiness aside out of guilt and duty.
I really enjoyed this story – it had some great dialogue, hot scenes, and a great storyline.
I really thought I was going to have a five star read on my hands with this one. Sadly it didn't go that way for me. Kate a women with no friends and hardly no family. She was raised by her grandmother after losing her mom at an early age. After Kate's grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's she had to put her in a nursing home. Kate is a romance book writer but is having a hard time trying to get her career going. She works for a temp agency and work is very slow. She's having money problems. She spends a lot of time at a coffee shop writing her novel. There she meets Luke. Luke has been coming into the coffee shop for weeks trying to get up enough nerve to talk to Kate. Now let me say this. Luke is a player. I mean he has sex with women and can't even remember their names. He's got them programmed in his phone as sexy hot blonde #1 or hot redhead #3. So him not having the balls to talk to Kate threw me for a loop. lol Luke finally after three weeks gets the nerve up to talk to Kate. He blows it and Kate walks out of the coffee shop never wanting to talk to him again. The next day Kate gets a job offer. Turns out Luke will be Kate's Boss for the next few months. Luke has made it very clear that he wants Kate and will have her. Bring on the sexual tension. Luke really made Kate squirm every chance he could. lol The problem I had with this was Kate. She knew Luke was a player. She made up her mind to have fun and fool around with him one night. Then that night she accidentally sees a text on Luke's phone from hot blonde #2. She gets angry and storms out. Then when Luke explains to her that he only wants her and no other women. She tells him she thought this thing they had was just casual???? WTF Kate??? If you thought it was just casual you can't get upset over hot blonde #2 texting! Kate also couldn't stand not knowing about Luke's past that he kept putting off telling her. She decides to google it and finds out. Then she tells him what she did. Luke blows up. I just didn't like Kate. I thought she was childish. She ruined the book for me. I also hated that Luke's pet name for Kate was sweet or love. Grrrr! Not sure if I will be reading about Adam next. I'm not sure but I think I read in here that he might be a virgin. lol

For those of you who have read The Rebound Series, you would have already met Luke Banford.
Well let me tell you about Electric,
-it's hot -sexy -heart breaking -emotional -alpha-tastic (yeah i think i made that word up but it speaks volumes) -oh and yes one very sexy Luke Banford with his dimple smile
Luke Banford is anything but shy when it comes to women, although he wouldn't be able to tell you their names as he doesn't know. They are stored in his phone as HOT-BLONDE 2 etc.. However a certain young lady has captured his attention in a local coffee shop and Luke just can't seem to find he mojo when it comes to Katherine "Kate" Kennedy.
Kate lives a simple life trying to make her way in the world as an author, however things are not that easy. She finds t hard to find anyone who will give her a chance with her stories and also finds it difficult to find any job. She notices the sex on a stick heart throb with the "Electric" blue eyes who always comes into the coffee shop at 7.30am, but she doesn't trust men at all.
Can Luke find his nerve to talk to Kate?
Can Kate let go of the walls surrounding her?
Can secrets jeopardise anything actually happening?
Will their be a HEA?
I know if i was to go on and tell you more i would spoil everything and i don't want to do that, its such an amazing story and i look forward to reading the others, as i know i won be disappointed at all.
Congrats on another smash hit, absolutely fantastic and work everyone of them 5 stars.
Kate leads a pretty full and stress-ridden life. A closet novelist, she despairs to receive her 14th rejection email from literary agents for her romance novel. One wonders whether it is because she has had only a single, disastrous sexual encounter in her life. Her finances are in a shambles, as she needs to cover the care home fees for the beloved. grandmother who raised her, even though that grandmother no longer recognizes her, due to the ravages of Alzheimers. Every morning, Kate retreats to the back of the local coffee shop, where she frowns over her laptop and shoots longing glances are the beautiful man with electric blue eyes. Little does she realize that this man has been showing up at this cafe well out of his way) simply to get a look at her and working up to ask her out. A highly unusual occurrence, since he is a committed manwh*re who only ever has casual one-nighters, whose numbers are listed not by name, but rather by "hot blonde #2 from club..." When he does raise the courage to ask her out, he is stunned by her rebuffal - something he's never experienced. But karma strikes when she ends up showing up at his construction company as the new temp. Luke is the heir to the multi-million dollar business and is her BOSS. Their chemistry is off-the-charts, but Kate's bad experiences with men like Luke fuel her reluctance to act on her feelings. Great story as the novelty and depth of their feelings develop.
I received a gift cop of this book in exchange for an honest review. Kate has always been the serious type. Never had many friends and never really dated except for once and let’s just say that ended badly. With no income at the moment Kate begins to despair on what she is going to do. Suddenly she gets a call from her temp agency for a working interview. Luke has always been able to charm the ladies it was like a gift. Yet somehow he can’t seem to get the courage to speak to the one woman he wants to get to know and then when he finally does he is shot down hard! Even though his mystery woman shot him down he has no plans on giving up. Fate seems to have intervened and thrown his mystery woman into his life, well for a short while anyway. The more Luke gets to know Kate the more he knows he wants her in his life. To say their relationship is electric is putting it mildly. As with all relationships theirs seems to hit a few major bumps in the road. Can Luke forgive Kate for prying behind his back to learn things from his past he would rather her not know about? Can Kate forgive Luke for making her feel like the most precious gift in the world one minute to just another lay the next? Will these two finally come together and help each other heal from their losses and past pains? This is a wonderful tale it is filled with love, laughter, loss and passion. A definite must read
I was given a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
I am so happy Emilia Winters reached out to me about reading this book. Once I got to about 20%, I couldn't put it down. I walked around all day with my Kindle glued to hands.
Kate is a little like all of us, I think. She's been hurt in the past and is afraid to put herself out there. If she just keeps to herself, she doesn't have to worry about letting anyone into her broken heart. Then Luke comes into the picture like a tornado and squashes her entire plan. He had been watching her at a local coffee place for weeks, because this womanizer just couldn't work up the nerve to talk to her. Then one day, she shows up at his work as his new 'assistant' from a temp agency. Can he draw the line and keep things professional?
Luke never had problems meeting woman to satisfy his 'needs'. He has a cell phone full of women, but he's missing something. Then Kate stumbles in and changes his entire outlook. He feels in his soul that she is 'the one', but they each have hurdles to get over to make it work. How do you let someone in and trust that they won't break anything? Trust is the pinnacle of any working relationship and they both learn this first hand.
This book is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone.
