My goodness this book has me side eyeing everyone! I find it very amazing how people like to live their life and care nothing of their actions until other people have to deal with the consequences. Unfortunately Nori finds herself in situation that she doesn’t want to be in.
The father is trash and her step mother is trash. This book is good! I listened to it on audible. Now listening to part 2.

Must Read
I don't see how Nori dealt with Chase. He's a clown and a embarrassment. Chase messed up his relationship with Nori. Now he's running around acting like a damn fool. One thing Nori need to learn to do is listen. True enough Kaleb should've told her about Peebles obsessed and trifling ass but Nori also should've listen when Kaleb opened up and told her about his family. Hell even after seeing how his mother, his brother Kane, and his father Alton. It was very clear why Kaleb distanced himself from his family. I was disgusted with Sean. First off he money a money hungry hoe who had to hoe ass daughter's Chloe and Avril. All three are jealous of Nori and Sean act like he's blind to it. Secondly he screwed up trying to live about his means trying to satisfy Nadine and it caught up to him. Nori is now a pawn in the Langston's sick and twisted game's. Skye talk too damn much. As Nori best friend. She shouldn't have opened her mouth about a damn thing when Kane was questioning her. Skye have no clue that by telling Nori business only fueled Kane desire to marry Nori. Kane is a psychopath and Nori was naive to the fact that he wasn't going to abide by none of the rules she tried negotiating. The way this ended showed Nori that everything she was told about Kane evil ass was the truth. There's a price to pay for her marrying his demented ass.

Kane aka Abel and Kaleb
This book is better than I expected being this is the first book I’ve read from this author. Nori was a strong young lady especially after loosing her mom to death and her father to his new wife and family. However she’s definitely slow to be in college because after meeting a nice guy Kaleb and becoming his girlfriend she finds herself in a very difficult situation. Kaleb warned Nori about his uppidy family and their malicious ways, however after getting mad with Kaleb she made an decision to save her father from the Langston family decides to marry his brother to save her father from prison. Great read but Nori making stupid decisions has no idea what is in store for. I’m pissed and I feel she is getting exactly what she asked for. However, no one deserves to be treated away she is being treated and abused.

Girl! If you don't hurry up with part 2!
This that kinda story that remind you how it don't matter how much time, how much money or how much life experience you have...it all only takes one decision to bless up or break down. What I really liked about this story was how streamlined and clean it was in delivery.
Granted, Nori was too naive and too hurt to understand that Kaleb in his life and in his rejection was trying to heal them both. I didn't think any less of ol' girl. Sometimes, you just gotta learn the hard way, and I think we will see how Kane crazy self teaches. Waiting impatiently for #2 to hit the shelf.

I bought this was going to a romance book, but this book was full of suspense& definitely kept me on he edge of my seat!!!…
You can tell by the way Kane caked himself that he was a nut on a roll!!…
Nori stressed me all the way out!!!…She challenged everything Kaleb tried to tell her as if he didn’t know his brother!!!…
Nori daddy should so shamed of himself for even offering his daughter up like that!!!…
I’m off to book 2 because this thriller has me having heart palpitations!!!…
Kane and Kaleb’s mom is a victim too!!!…Her behavior spks volumes and I think their father is grooming these girls his sons and h groomed their mother too!!!…

Part 2 not coming fast enough
UGHHH I wanted to head butt that girl so bad. If my iPad wasn’t on its last leg, I probably would have🙄 Nori was so naive. But I guess when you trying to save your “hero” and the only parent you have and your “hero” only thinking of himself and his wife; I guess she felt like she stuck between a rock and hard place. But why would she think she can negotiate with someone who think they’re entitled and everything will be fine because she feels like she’s setting boundaries. If I wasn’t so nosy, I wouldn’t be looking forward to-part two.😜😝

Good Story
The only thing that made me mad was the fact that not once did they ever think of marrying each other. I understand they're young, but I didn't think they would be so slow as to not even mention that as an option. And now, since Nori didn't want to listen, she's gotta herself in a world of trouble. I'm not in any way saying what happened to her was ok, but it's a shame she had to learn the hard way, that sometimes you need to choose yourself first, because her dad sure did.

Dang
This was a good read but Nori pissed me off so bad. For her to be so head strong she completely ignored all the signs and warnings she was given. I just feel like something is off about Skye and Tone too… I could be wrong but idk. The beginning was super slow and not really interesting to me but definitely worth sticking around for. Oh & both their dads disgust me. I hope they get what’s coming to them.

She's Very Naive
I really wanted like this but the way that she really didn't take any caution to this situation just annoyed me so much it didn't give any greatness to her character or the story we already knew what would happen once she agreed. Kaleb needs to move on and let her suffer since she didn't listen the first time I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to save her

I don’t like the virtual voice but this plot is…whew! The characters and the stuff they are into…just wow! I’m so invested in this story, can’t wait to see what happens and praying that everything works out. So far, Nore’s father is beginning to be the worst…along with Kane. I’m praying Kaleb will come through…this is A LOT!

The prologue had me thinking one thing, but once getting deeper into the book it was the furthest thing from what I was thinking. Nori was good in my eyes until she started thinking she knew what was good for her rather than listening to Kaleb about his brother and family. I feel like she deserved what she got for not taking heed to Kaleb’s warning. Can’t wait to dive into book 2 and 3!

So many unforeseen plot twists. Every chapter was filled with page turning moments. I read the entire book in one day, because I couldn’t put it down! The cliffhanger has me completely speechless, which is the very reason I’m bout to get part 2!!
