Ok the last few chapters of this book had me sobbing and just from that alone I knew I loved these characters and their story. Cora, our fmc, is a single mum who was so strong and independent - I absolutely loved her and she and her story felt so real for me. James, our sweet and occasionally stupid mmc, was the perfect mix of dominant and golden retriever. And although he made a huge mistake, man GROVELLED!! You guys know how much I love a grovelling trope 🤭. The story was beautiful, funny, raw, and HOT - the spice 🥵 the spice was everything. The book had a great mix of plot, character development, and spice - it was so well balanced. By the time I got to the end I definitely did not want to say goodbye to these characters but I am so looking forward to book 2 which is Daemon’s story!

This was definitely a short book with lots of kink and smut, mixed with a lot of BDSM.
Cora had a one-night stand with a beautiful stranger 5 years ago. She meets him again by accident, when it turns out he is her CEO at her day job. Or at least she thought that, because he didn't remember her. From them on the play begins.
Like I mentioned earlier, the book was really really hot. And I loved it. There were quite a lot of twists at the end. Twists that were a surprise and ones that I didn't expect. The only thing that bothered me was the ending - for me it felt a bit rushed and I wasn't feeling the love between Cora and James.
Overall, I liked the story, the sex and the characters (minus the above sentence).

This book had me hooked from the beginning. However the twist that occurred 65% of the way has me shocked! I didn't want to put this book down. Great storyline, great spice, lots of emotions and more!

I went through all the emotions with this book && it tugged on all my little heart strings. I haven't read a book by Jade May, but if this book was anything to go by, I will absolutely love her books. The spice level was great && the plot twists you weren't expecting was surprising and gut wrenching at the same time. Definitely would recommend to add this to your TBR and actually read it.

I absolutely enjoyed this book! I have always loved billionaire tropes, but add dominance and possessiveness, it makes it so much more!
This book captured me from the first chapter. James and Cora’s story is wild. I laughed, cried and bit my nails off reading this. James was the perfect MMC with the right amount of dominance and golden retriever vibes. Cora had sass and smarts, which balanced James out perfectly. She knew just how to put him in his place!!! I enjoyed the twist this book took as well! I literally did not want to put his down. I’m sad it ended because the plot was that great and I could read more books like this. Looking forward to the rest of the series! Thank you Jade May and The Author Agency for allowing me to be an ARC reader❤️

ARC REVIEW: I finished this book in a day! I could not put it down. It had everything I loved, enemies to lovers, workplace romance, kinky club, single mom. & THE PLOT TWIST! SHEEESH! I did not see that coming. I had a moment of getting upset and teary eyed connecting with Cora as a mother. It was soo good!

Tempted by Eden, isn’t actually about a woman named Eden like I initially assumed. Rather, Eden is a place, a brothel of sorts. A gentlemen’s club for the wealthy and Elite, with goddesses who will submit to your every desire. That’s where James meets Cora for the first time… But, Cora already “knows” who James is, in a way. Unsettling as it is, James doesn’t seem to remember Cora from their past…. It’s been 5 years after all since their night together. Cora remembers it well, since she stares reminders of it in the face everyday. It’s become her whole life, and now her biggest secret. How does she tell James?
I can’t spoil anymore of this book than I already maybe have. But the plot of is phenomenal!! 😘 Such a good read, my emotions were up and down. I felt so connected to the characters and felt and shared their pleasure and pain. The spice was also very well written and intense. Definitely opened some new fantasies for myself. I’d highly recommend this read whether you want the spice and/or the plot.

I am shocked I liked this book!
I was afraid of the pacing being a little too fast would make me not like it. Nope! I really enjoyed this book!
It was a breath of fresh air compared to the other books that are similar.
Did it tear my heart out a little bit? YES!
James and Cora were steamy, and had great chemistry! When they fell, more like he fell first and HARD, I squealed. They were great together, even when they were at odds.
This book was such a great story, I wish it was a million more pages because it was so good!

This is my first by this author and I devoured it. I would have given it 5 stars but I felt the plot had a few holes in it and the last several chapters felt rushed. I wish there was a bonus epilogue.
Overall, I loved the story of James and Cora (and Leo). It’s a definite page turner. It tugs at your heartstrings too.

She was a fierce protector of her family and was doing her best to take care of them. She was a person that stood up for herself and was a hard worker.
James is co-CEO of a company his grandfather started a long time ago. He’s ruthless and unapproachable and his employees are having a hard time wanting to work at his company. James is used to people trying to use him and then blackmail him, hence why he didn’t trust that Cora working for him was a coincidence. On the flipside, James is a family man and loved his family fiercely. He doesn’t think he’s relationship material, yet with Cora, he feels something different in his heart.
This book was short but had a good plot and the spice was perfect! I thought that Cora and James had insane chemistry that just jumped off the pages. Cora was the fierce woman that James needed. There is a plot twist I didn’t see coming and I was like, well crap. Great read!

This was my first book by Jade, and wow—I was seriously surprised by how much I enjoyed it! I was hooked straight from the start!
The story starts with Cora having an unforgettable one-night stand while on vacation. And let's just say it left an impression 🔥🥵 Fast forward a few years, and she’s now a single mom balancing two jobs. By day, working at a media company, and by night, serving at a high-end club. But here’s the twist—she runs into none other than her unforgettable vacation fling, James. The catch? He doesn't remember her at all! And, to make matters worse, he’s now her boss.
Cora is such a strong, determined character—she’s a single mom juggling everything and doing whatever it takes to provide for her son. I loved her relationship with Hailee👏 Cora's bond with her dad was heartwarming, and the way he supports her through thick and thin? Made me cry so many times! 😭 And little Leo? SO adorable! 🥹
Oh, and James? Sigh. Let’s just say he’s not your typical brooding billionaire. He’s got his flaws, and honestly, that’s what makes him so damn irresistible. The “He Falls First” trope? One of my faves, and boy, does he fall hard. Throw in his dominant side with that total golden retriever vibe, and he’s just impossible to say no to. There were moments I seriously wanted to smack him for being so cold, but when he finally got his act together? So satisfying. I do wish Cora didn't take him back so quickly but James DID grovel! As he should have!
Cora and James have OFF THE CHARTS crazy chemistry that kept me hooked from start to finish! It was the perfect balance of steam and emotion to keep you hooked! This book is SO not what I expected! Tempted by Eden pushed me through the ringer - I had all sorts of emotions that I wasn't expecting. One minute I am happy and swooning and the next minute I am ready to throw my kindle at a very rich man and the next minute I am crying all the tears. James and Cora's journey is not an easy one, but they end up getting a happy ending!

Cora's life is a disaster. Let's not mince words here - after being a single mom for the past four years, along with being the sole provider for her son and her ill father, she is drowning. So when a unique opportunity at a different kind of gentleman's club falls in her lap, she takes it and does what she needs to do to provide for her family. Cora is the epitome of a good mother and she proves that over and over throughout this book.
James is grumpy and brooding - which we later find out the reason for. But when he meets the illusive Cora and they have one amazing turned thievery night together, he never expects to see her again. Until she shows up as his new employee. He doesn't believe in her intentions and makes that known. But no one can deny the pull and chemistry that these two have. They literally cannot be in the same room without s3xually combusting.
I really loved this book and the unexpected journey it took me on. James and Cora really go through it in this book and without spoiling anything, these characters are absolutely imperfect human beings, just like we all are. And that is proven time and time again. But one mistake threatens to make everything fall apart. Now I don't know that I would be able to forgive this, but hey, I am not in the MC's situation.
I wish this book was longer! I wanted more at the ending when they finally figure their ish out! The next book seems to be Hallie and Daemon and I am soooo excited for that!!

Cora's life is a disaster. Let's not mince words here - after being a single mom for the past four years, along with being the sole provider for her son and her ill father, she is drowning. So when a unique opportunity at a different kind of gentleman's club falls in her lap, she takes it and does what she needs to do to provide for her family. Cora is the epitome of a good mother and she proves that over and over throughout this book.
James is grumpy and brooding - which we later find out the reason for. But when he meets the illusive Cora and they have one amazing turned thievery night together, he never expects to see her again. Until she shows up as his new employee. He doesn't believe in her intentions and makes that known. But no one can deny the pull and chemistry that these two have. They literally cannot be in the same room without s3xually combusting.
I really loved this book and the unexpected journey it took me on. James and Cora really go through it in this book and without spoiling anything, these characters are absolutely imperfect human beings, just like we all are. And that is proven time and time again. But one mistake threatens to make everything fall apart. Now I don't know that I would be able to forgive this, but hey, I am not in the MC's situation.
I wish this book was longer! I wanted more at the ending when they finally figure their ish out! The next book seems to be Hallie and Daemon and I am soooo excited for that!!

As a reader, it's always a thrill to discover a new author with a debut novel that captures your attention from the very first sexy page. Tempted by Eden by Jade May is one such book that will leave you wanting more.
Despite the challenges that come her way, Cora's courage and determination shine through as she navigates the world of BDSM and proves herself as a Senior Public Affairs Specialist to her boss, James. It's not an easy feat, especially considering that James doesn't even remember their steamy encounter from five years ago.
While some of Cora's choices may seem unprofessional, it's hard not to admire her strength and conviction when James oversteps his boundaries. James, on the other hand, may come across as grumpy and possessive, but his softer side is revealed as the story progresses. However, it wouldn't be a complete romance without a grand gesture and groveling as James goes above and beyond to right a terrible wrong. And good for Cora as she stuck to her guns.
One of the highlights of the book is the twist that takes the reader by surprise and adds a new dimension to the story. It's a testament to Ms. May's writing skills that the twist doesn't feel forced or contrived, but rather a natural progression of the plot. The book's pacing is spot-on, with the right amount of tension and release to keep the reader engaged. The dialogue is snappy and witty, and the characters are well-developed and relatable.
This debut novel is a blend of spicy and funny with just the right amount of angst.

Wow this one let’s just say made me feel all of the feels while reading! The spice was seriously amazing! Cora is such a strong FMC. Working two jobs caring for her son and has an ill father. She has the opportunity to work at Eden and that’s where she meets James! James I loved instantly and at one pointed I was so angry with him but thankfully he made up for that. At her new day job she finds out James is her boss. Things definitely get a little bumpy and oh god James had me yelling but it was such a great read! I totally recommend adding this one to your tbr!

This has been a quick, very hot read which starts with Cora enjoying a blistering hot one night with a chance meeting while on holiday in Malta. Segue to 5 years later and Cora's situation is challenging and tough as she juggles responsibilities and stresses. Her job search has not paid dividends and is not providing the security that she and her little family desperately needs. She finds herself at a crossroads when two jobs in vastly different worlds leads her back to that wonderful, but fateful night and a beautiful face from her past. This collision of circumstances creates the tension of the story as Cora clashes, and is hugely attracted to, James whose reactions are strong and verging on angry.
This has been so much fun to read with twists, emotions and a huge amount of very hot encounters. I would have liked a longer resolution of the plot in the last third of the book, particularly around the emotional fall out and the relationship between Cora and James, but I will definitely be looking for more titles by Jade May. 💖💖💖💖

Thank you Jade May and Greys Promo for providing this book in exchange for my honest review! It was a pleasure and I loved it! My only complaint is...I wish this book was longer!! I wanted more from these characters and their dynamic.
The author did a great job building this relationship dynamic, and the plot twist?! BLEW MY FUCKING MIND. Ont of my favorite ARCs this year, it felt like a mix of TL Swann and Sara Cate. Youve got sex club vibes but also hot spicy billionaire vibes too. I loved Leo and the dynamic between him and his grandfather and the fierce love and protection Cora has for them. I'm so glad James got his shit together. And I LOVE a man that grovels.

They never expected those separate ways to bring them back together again, but crossing paths is a mild understatement to their current situation. He's her filthy-rich, mega sexy, new CEO and boss, and he's still just as delicious and dominant as that night 5 years ago.
This book was a quick read, and the story progressed quickly. The characters were well developed with chemistry that was palpable. I liked the plot twist to keep the reader guessing, but the middle got a little muddled, and sadly, the end felt a little rushed. I found myself wishing for a bit more but this was a quick, enjoyable read!

This story is about Cora and James. I can’t say too much about the beginning or storyline or I will give a surprise twist away. However, the two ultimately meet at a gentlemen’s club and she also ends up working for him at his media company. The two have great chemistry and lust towards each other. Cora has a difficult life and is struggling and James is a grumpy CEO. I thought this was a good book although cliche and cheesy at times. I wished we could have seen more relationship growth. However, I thought the chemistry and emotions were portrayed well and the writing flowed easily. The spicy scene were good too!

Oh man! I loved this so much. It was such an amazing read. I'm always a sucker for bd$m clubs and D/s dynamics. It didn't have too much of it but I loved it nonetheless. Adding workplace to the mix was the icing on the cake.
The chemistry and sexual tension was top notch. The characters amazing! I loved the storyline and everything was placed together perfectly. I had kind of guessed who is who when James was talking to his sister and the bro thing came up, but the final reveal was so full of emotions, oh my f'ing God.
THIS WAS A PERFECT BOOK, and I can't wait for more stories from this world.

This is the first book I read by the author and I am a fan now. I was engrossed in the read from the first page and lost myself in Cora and James. The complete read was an emotional whirlwind. I loved getting to know both James and Cora. I was in awe with Cora's strength. The spice was off the charts and there chemistry smoking hot. They might not have planned for things to take such a turn but fate has other plans. The mystery kept me on the edge throughout the read and the book ended too soon for my liking. Now I cannot wait to read what's to come by the author. Thanks to Jade and Grey's Promotion for the advanced copy of this amazing read.

This is a well written story which has family, friendships, emotions, angst, boss / employee, workplace romance, enemies / lovers, humor, witty banter, twists and turns, second chances, off the chart’s chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, spicy, and compelling addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I would like to thank Jade May and Greys Promotions for allowing me to receive an ARC. These are my complete unbiased opinions. all I can say is I felt every single emotion while reading this book. One of my favorites this year. The romance, the smut, THE PLOT TWIST. I wish I could read this book again for the first time. I threw my kindle to the other side of my bed. My heart actually broke. I haven’t felt emotions like this in a long time while reading. I cannot wait for everyone to read this book next month.

Quick, fun and sexy read that has the right amount of laughs, emotions, and kink, with a twist. Cora and James are professional and sexy at the same time. I love their banter - that hot workplace romance thing - and seeing their relationship grow. It had an organic feel, which for me always gives me a better connection with the characters. They also had fantastic chemistry.
It’s easy to fall in love with their love so when the emotion that you’re expecting hits with a wild twist, it sets the emotions on overdrive because it’s not what was expected! Love a good story with surprises!

I am so happy to have received this ARC because boy did I enjoy this read it was fun and provocative read that has the perfect proportion of giggles, feelings, and wrinkle, with a turn. Cora and James are proficient and provocative simultaneously. I love their talk - that hot working environment sentiment thing - and seeing their relationship develop.

But he doesn't remember their old encounter he just thinks she is trying to blackmail him with the new one they had. James is used to people using him and thinks it the same with Cora.
