As a long-time user of RootsMagic genealogy software, and of its predecessor, Family Origins, I find this reference manual very useful. It includes a section on how to get started. Because use of the software features is very much driven by external events and user desires, any flow-of-features explanation would be superfluous. Fortunately, it includes both index and table of contents in their standard locations. This is the most comprehensive software manual that I have owned.
