I was rejected, and sold to three alphas who hate me. Forced to work off my debt to them... Until I go into heat.
I’m an omega, born to be a pack peacemaker...and a breeder.
When the three alphas of the Black Ashe Pack rescue me, I think my life is finally going to turn around- But for some reason, they hate me.
There's Canon, the ruthless high alpha, who is possessive and brutal.
Knox, whose gorgeous face and controlled exterior hide a devastating secret.
And Nico, the wild and scarred killer, who can't stand the sight of me— but doesn't hesitate to tell me he owns me.
They make me work in their hotel to pay off my debt to them, but a fiery attraction sparks between us. All of us.
And when my heat suppressants run out, they threaten to gift me to another pack... But it doesn't take long until we're all giving in to our instincts.
Now they have one to get me pregnant with their heirs... Before my old alpha comes to claim me again.
Nanny's baby for the Alpha Kings is an enemies to lovers RH omegaverse romance
Okay, so the idea behind it was alright, but i did have some issues with it.
For starters, the book description is nothing like what happened in the book. It made it seem like she was taken in as a nanny by the alphas to pay a debt, they hated each other, and then after helping her through her heat they had an agreement for her to have their heirs follwed by her past catching up to her. That's NOT what happened at all. She was the nanny, they did all hate each other, and they did help her through her heat; however, the reason she stayed afterwards wasn't because she agreed to have their heirs, it's because Canon said it was possible she was pregnant and refused to let her leave because of it (while still hating her). And her past caught up to her and was finished about halfway through the book, so there was an entire other point of the story that was never mentioned in the summary.
Secondly, the relationship that Phoebe had with the alphas was shallow at best. She had no deeper connection to them, and the only thing that made it so that they were together was the mate bond... otherwise she knew nothing about them at all. There was never a point in this where it made sense that genuine feelings emerged. We knew almost nothing about the pack other than a brief backstory for Nico, but that's it. Really hard to feel connected to a main character while reading when you don't actually know anything about them, something to just humanize them somehow. Like, the only true on page steam that was had was with Phoebe and Nico, and the Phoebe and Canon... she never even slept with Knox on page, which just personifies that shallow relationship coming from it all.
Also, the fact that the cover picture isn't even accurate to what the characters look like is sketchy. Phoebe is described as having honey blonde hair, Canon has dark hair and a beard, while otherwise it said that one of the alphas has blonde hair and the other had dark hair (never explained which one had which colour). So even if we were to say that the cover picture accurately showed Canon and at least one other of the alphas, that still leaves a blonde alpha and Phoebe with her blonde hair completely misrepresented in the cover. I find that super weird, and very sketchy for an author to have that as their official cover when it's not an accurate depiction of their own characters.
Lastly, this most definitely is not a complete standalone, but rather an interconnected standalone. There was way too much references to outside things and people that weren't fully explained. There were too many questions left unanswered in places where it was clearly in reference to something else. I shouldn't have to read 6 other books to understand basic things within this story.
If you like shifter books and if you like omegaverse books, this one falls right in between them. It is more of a combination of both. That being said, it definitely feels like it was only half finished. I have read a few books by this same author, so I was looking forward to this one, but it falls wayyy short of what I have come to expect.
As for a nice, rounded story, this book probably should have ended around the 60% mark. The author wanted to do more, though, so it seemed to stretch on longer. Then, we move on to another subplot of the book that just keeps things going.
This book was in desperate need of a proofreader and an editor. There were many many instances where a wrong word was used. For example: When instead of where, or do instead of no. Spell check can't catch everything, you have to check grammar and sentence structure. Not only that, but I would like to believe an editor would have helped with the story flow. It felt like everything was winding to an end at 60% in, but then it just kept on going.
My biggest issue with this book is that there was no background information given and there was no emotions at all. I didn't feel anything from anyone for anyone. At most, I felt the irritation for her at the beginning, but that is it. I didn't get any affection much less love from them. I did feel their desperation to save her near the end, so I know this author can do better. What was left is a book that just felt incomplete. It feels like a first draft that was never fleshed out at all, and the readers just have to figure it out for themselves. Even the world-building was subpar, so I had no idea what was going on and what was expected and what could happen.
I am going to keep on with this series, as they are good to have as palette cleansers in between other books, but they are getting worse. I'm hoping things pick back up.
I enjoyed it, but I think it dragged on a bit after the ex died! I want drama and angst, but unfortunately, I didn't get any of that! Don't get me wrong, it's absolutely a sweet book with Lil Daisy and all.
I enjoyed this book by KA Iris as fated RH mates is a favorite. Life has not been easy for Phoebe, being an Omega and sold by her only family. Reaching out for help, rejected and turned away Phoebe endures abuse, humiliation, emotional and traumatic years. Running for her life she comes across an alpha who rejected her all those years ago to be offered protection and servitude. Being an Omega has cause Phoebe a life of hurt but will Canon, Knox and Nico be her salvation?.

Abused by her step brother Phoebe finds herself at an auction to be sold. She is sold to an even worst abuser than her brother but not before her fated mate rejects her openly when they see each other for the first time at the black market. Phoebe and her mate cross paths again, but this time her saves her but is it into a fate worst than the death she has longed for?.

I absolutely love this writer. Her books are so well written and extremely hard to put down. Once I got started, I was hooked and lost so much sleep. I highly recommend this series, especially this book. But, if you read to get sleepy, let me warn you now, you will not get sleepy and you will find yourself watching the sun come up in the morning while wondering where the night went. Enjoy!!
A lot of gaps throughout and unfinished stories I felt like. It had a lot of potential and I enjoyed it for the most part. It felt rushed at the end though and unfinished. The 🌶️ scenes were great the first time around and then became kind of the same
Ummmm. So the summary wasn’t the book. Mostly. She wasn’t a nanny as much and the alphas definitely didn’t have the intention of breeding her. It was a long book with lots of elements thrown in that had me like, “Huh?” for a while.
Such a great story. So sad it ended,I never thought that 3 men could be so romantic in bed with a female. It was all about her I would be scared don’t think I could ever do some thing like that. But reading this story was thrilling.
Okay first of all there was so many parts where it was like the author lost their train of thought or something, so I gotta say this book was a bit ass. The idea of it was good though!
