Rate this book
With her boyfriend murdered and her best friend being suspect number one, Bianca Keller's life has turned upside down. But it actually hasn't been all that bad. In fact, her life has never been better. Not only does she finally have control of her murder mystery podcast, but she's been doing good in the world helping solve other unsolved murders and bring criminals to justice---but not without a little insider knowledge to help her along.

Orlock has been watching his hummingbird thrive in the new life he helped her create. Taking out the trash tends to do that to a person. With their relationship thriving, they plan to play a game of cat and mouse after a charity dinner she speaks at. But when someone else interferes and takes Bianca first, Orlock must use every tool to find her and make them pay for taking his things.

Let the hunt begin.

The Unsolved Murder of Bianca Keller by KJ Sweet is book two in The Unsolved Murder Series. Let’s start this off by saying this is a sequel to the first book so you should definitely read that one before this one. Another mention is to check your trigger warnings because this is a dark romcom…dark. The first book was such a good read that I was so excited when I found out about this sequel. As with the first I couldn’t put my kindle down I was hooked within just a few chapters. I still freaking love Orlock and Bianca even more so in this installment. This storyline was addicting from start to finish even the heart attack I had during that final chapter. I had to put my kindle down but after reading the epilogue my heart felt so much better. The writing was great, straddling the line of dark, funny and intriguing. But the way the characters are written just shines so bright. I don’t think I could ever get enough of them. I do think this book out of the two is my favorite. I highly recommend this series if you’re a fan of dark romcoms because this seriously has the best of all worlds.

Final review:
4 out of 5 stars!

If you haven’t read The Unsolved Murder of Kevin Walsh, go read it first.

Well, didn’t think she could top The Unsolved Murder of Kevin Walsh, but she did. This is almost entirely from Orlock’s POV, with flashbacks to the development of his and Bianca’s relationship.

It also develops Orlock’s relationship with his work partner, and gives us a little insight into their working relationship.

Loved it!!

Thank you to KJ Sweet for the ARC! All thoughts and opinions are my own!

Holy plot twist!! That ending?! Did not see that coming. I loved having this second book because I felt it really helped bring closure to the first. Following Bianca and her podcast as well as her relationship with Orlock was great! Their love for eachother (especially Orlock) grew into something beautiful and I am here for it! When Bianca doesn’t show up for their planned evening Orlock flips the world upside down to find her. Alive or dead? Read to find out!

This is a sequel and you have to read the first one to understand this one.
The writing was enjoyable and it’s a quick, easy read. While there may be some plot holes it’s still enjoyable for being a novella. There is a little spice but does focus more on the plot which I liked. I love the main characters and their relationship. The ending did surprise me as it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting.

I loved this book and I love this series. I can’t say too much without spoiling it but I will say this book make me SOB and literally scream at one point but I should have known the author had tricks up her sleeve because she’s always does and it was written so well! If you are a fan of horror, unsolved murder cases, crime shows, or any stalker/murderer/serial killer romance with a touch her and die vibe this book is for you and I’m literally obsessed!

This is the sequel to The Unsolved Murder of Kevin Walsh. You really need to read that book before this one. This is a dark romance and Orlock is very much so morally grey. I enjoyed seeing more from his point of view and getting to learn more about his character. This is a great read and had me hanging on until the end. I highly recommend both books in this series!

4/5⭐️, 1/5🌶️

-Dual POV
-Sequel

Read the Unsolved Múrdèr of Kevin Walsh first as this is the sequel to it. This was good though! It’s a quick read action packed to the brim! The beginning hooks you in and keeps you interested. Bianca and Orlock have such a cute relationship. Check the TW’s first, otherwise definitely recommend.

Omg the ending!!!!!!! The second to last chapter had me in tears and so sick to my stomach I just wanted to throw the book then I told myself I had to read the last chapter only to be fully shocked at the ending. I can’t even begin to describe all my emotions right now!!! I hope she writes another book in this series!!!

Bianca and Orlocks story. What’s not to love about a FBI/secret justice killer. He loved playing with his little hummingbird until someone takes his toy from him. Will he find her before it’s too late? I loved it!

This story was quick and easy to read it was suspenseful and mysterious. It does contain gore and murder. I can say I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I ran through so many emotions, and at one point yelled at the story. There are twists and turns that you don’t expect.

A good, short read, with a little spice, mystery, and mildly gruesome events.
